About: As a veterinary technician, I’m trained in medication administration, senior and special-needs care, and post-op monitoring. I provide professional, compassionate care that goes beyond standard sitting. As a full-time veterinary technician, pet care is an extension of my daily routine and passion. I start and end my days with dog walks, feeding, and check-ins, and I’m available for extended visits, overnight care, and specialized support for senior or medicated pets on weekdays before 7:30 am and after 6:00 pm. Fridays, Sundays, and Saturdays on off weeks provide additional flexible availability for longer visits and boarding. My experience ensures pets receive professional, attentive care even while maintaining my busy schedule. I provide attentive, professional care in both my home and your home, always prioritizing your pet’s comfort, safety, and well-being. In your home, I follow your routines for feeding, walks, and playtime, and can administer medications, monitor health, and care for senior or recovering pets. In my home, pets enjoy a safe, clean, and enriching environment with regular walks, supervised play, and individualized attention. As a veterinary technician, I am trained to notice subtle changes in behavior or health and respond promptly, giving you peace of mind whether you’re away for a few hours or overnight.

Sabrina is amazing!! We have three Shiba Inu's that can be quite a handful, but she is so great with them! She is quick to respond, and has been so helpful when I've needed last minute visits! My oldest dog is very shy and uncomfortable around people she doesn't know, but she's really warmed up to Sabrina, which makes me so happy. It is such a relief to have her come take care of our pups when my husband and I work long hours - I don't have to worry at all, knowing they're in good hands. She even sends me cute pictures of them playing! I highly recommend her and will definitely continue to book her in the future!

About: I am known as a dog whisper, I have been able to calm angry simply through a gentle hand. My chickens follow me around like the Pied Piper. I am retired, so their routine is my routine. I generally rise between 6am - 7am and begin dog walking. After they have been fed, I take care of the other pets. At this time I do not plan to offer boarding on my eight acre hobby farm. If I do, then dogs, horses, cattle, sheep, and goats will be accomodated.

About: I have lived with cats for my whole life and absolutely adore taking care of them! I am highly experienced in taking care of cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities! As a recent high school graduate, I have plenty of free time to care for your kitties! Boarding at my home and housesitting at yours is available throughout the summer. Your kitties will stay in my cozy and relaxing bedroom! Because my family has a few cats of our own, your kitties will stay in my room to prevent any issues with the other cats.

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for my own dogs and cats, as well as helping family members with their pets. Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I truly understand how much they mean to their families. I am patient, calm, and very respectful of each animal’s personality and space. I’m especially gentle with shy, senior, or more sensitive pets, helping them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. During each visit, I make sure pets are fed on time, have fresh water, receive attention, playtime, and plenty of affection. I understand how important routines are and I always follow instructions carefully. I treat every pet as if they were part of my own family, and I provide updates and photos so you can feel relaxed and confident knowing your pets are in caring and reliable hands. Pet care is a dedicated and organized part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule one day in advance to ensure I can provide reliable and punctual service to every client. I currently offer drop-in visits Monday through Friday between 6am and 3pm. I limit the number of visits per day so each pet receives calm, focused, and attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully to maintain the pet’s normal routine and environment. I ensure doors and gates are secured, food and medications are administered as directed, and the home is kept clean and respectful. I provide regular updates with messages and photos so owners feel informed and reassured. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and stable experience for both the pet and the family.

Jane was absolutely wonderful! She treated our babies like they were her own. From coming out ahead of time to meet us and our babies, to sending us text and photo updates, we couldn't have been happier with her service. This was our first time to use a professional pet sitter and, of course, we were very nervous about it. Jane was very reassuring and kept in constant contact with us. We look forward to using her the next time we go out of town!

About: Animals have always been a part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally. Over the past 8 years, I’ve worked with pets of all kinds—playful pups, independent cats, curious bunnies, and even the occasional lizard. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether it’s a quick visit, a long walk, or just keeping them company, I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. As a remote worker, I have the flexibility to easily incorporate pet care into my daily and weekly routine. My schedule allows me to plan visits, walks, and check-ins throughout the day without the constraints of a traditional 9–5 job. This means I can provide consistent, timely care and adjust to each pet’s specific needs—whether that’s a morning walk, a midday visit, or evening playtime. Being remote also allows me to stay nearby in case any last-minute needs come up. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my focus is always on creating a safe, clean, and low-stress environment. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide—so they feel secure and comfortable in their familiar space. I make sure your home is respected and left just as I found it. If pets are staying in my home, they’ll have a cozy, quiet space with plenty of attention, play, and supervised care throughout the day. In both cases, I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Tom Bean

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 632 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Tom Bean. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Tom Bean. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 91% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
