“Kelly is a caring, sweet and thoughtful dog walker. She came over to meet Kaya before our scheduled walks and even brought homemade dog treats which she loved! I got stuck at work late two nights in a row and Kelly came to the rescue and was able to walk Kaya three times in one day. She was respectful of the property, fed Kaya her meds and gave her food when I couldnt get home. She was such a big help and I'm thankful we connected on Rover. We will request her again when we need someone to take care of our old girl. Thanks again for the pets and affection. 🐾🐶”

“Vanessa is fantastic! After just a few interactions I can tell my dogs "approve". I have a shy dog who takes a bit to warm up, and an overly excited dog who's a big jumper and energetic. Vanessa did great working with both personalities and the dogs eagerly head out for walks with Vanessa. Would definitely recommend her services!”

“Donna is amazing! My anxious dog warmed up to her right away and looks forward to her daily walks with Donna. She has been a huge help while I recover from surgery and is flexible for any last minute needs. So happy we found her!”

“Our girls loved having Sharon walk them during the day! After every visit I received an update and pictures. Sharon was very professional and prompt. I’ve already booked again for April!”

“David has taken Diego on three walks and each time he has been professional, on time, and loving to my dog. This last time he even brought him cold water and carried him when they encountered pavement that could potentially hurt his little paws due to the heat. He’s been kind and gentle and Diego enjoys his walks with David. Thank you for taking such pride in your work and for caring for my little guy as if he was yours!”

“Patrick is such a caring and loving dog walker. We used him for a vacation and continue to have him come during the week because of how much our pup enjoys his walks & company. If you’re looking for a quality and loving walker- this is your guy! We love Patrick!”

“Amanda had been great with my Chloe. Chloe is a little shy and standoffish with new people due to her history and amanda has been great with her. The fact Chloe actually eats her dinner when Amanda comes over is a big deal! I will continue to use her.”

About: I have worked in various different ways with animals and have even gone to BCIT for high school where we learned to be a vet assistant and dog grooming. I have pet sat for family friends and used to work in a kennel where we board both cats and dogs. I have had pets all my life and know how much they mean to you so I will give them the best care! I am currently working part time and have a flexible schedule. I am looking to do Rover full time eventually so I have even more time for your pets! I make sure the pets are comfortable and happy. Just write down what your pet needs and I will make sure to follow their schedule. I make sure to follow pets schedules as it can stress them if it is changed.

About: Hi! I’ve owned, cared for, groomed, trained, and boarded dogs of all breeds for over 20 years. Whether it's a playful puppy or a senior snuggler, I treat every fur baby like they’re my own family. In addition to dog sitting and boarding, I also offer daily dog walks and runs—perfect for pups who need a bathroom break, exercise, or just some fresh air and love while you're at work or away. I’m available for midday walks, morning strolls, evening outings, or energetic runs, and I tailor each outing to your dog’s energy level and needs. I’m familiar with handling all kinds of dogs—from leash pullers to laid-back seniors—and I’m happy to accommodate special requests. Whether your pup loves the park, a quiet neighborhood stroll, or a brisk jog, I’ve got you covered. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate ample time to caring for pets throughout the day. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or simply giving your dog plenty of attention and companionship, I’m available to make sure their needs are met consistently. My routine revolves around providing a calm, loving environment where each pet feels comfortable and well cared for. You can rest easy knowing your dog will be treated like family—with the utmost love, attention, and care—whether we’re snuggled up at home or out on an adventure together. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. Tail wags and happy paws guaranteed!

About: I have had multiple animals of various types in my home since birth. I enjoy life with pets and have know nothing else. I have experienced all stages of their lives. For 5 years friends and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and sit for their pets. I am recently out of high school. I have lots of free time and could spend loads of it with your pets. I am very flexible with availability I prefer to care for your animal in the safety of their home. I can also take pets to the dog park if they are happy to do so.

“Sade is EVERYTHING!!! I have a very energetic big puppy who is still learning not to jump on people AND walking on a leash. She has been such an important piece in consistency when it comes to training, I've seen the difference in Nakia's behavior in those areas.”

About: People call my home the rescue center! All five of my animals have been rescued. I had to treat my male cat after a bad urinary blockage, female cat after being infected by ring worm and my oldest dog that has severe ear/environmental allergies. My youngest dog comes with a heartful story, so I will save that for an in-person conversation since it is a lengthy story. All are now healthy, happy and living a dream!! If I could adopt them all, I would. I also own a frog who eats crickets on a daily basis. (he also is another in-person heartful story) I will put full compassion into taking care of your babies like he/she was my own. I look forward to advancing my dreams and services to help people that can't be home all the time to provide extra love, care and anything else your pet needs. Additional experience, I was brought up in a home with birds and guinea pigs, so if they need a special gourmet meal, no problem!! I am currently not working full-time and have the extra time to care for other pet owners needs...my schedule is flexible. Contact me for more details. Just let me know what your pet needs and I will assure I can accommodate. I also recommended a meet and greet so that we can meet ahead of time to go over everything that you require for my stay and what your pet requires at the time of service.

About: I am a former shelter medical team member, I worked with dogs and cats extensively. I work currently as a veterinary assistant for Red Bank Vet Hospital in Mount Laurel. I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs and cats and will make sure they have the best care while you’re gone! I am also able to medicate if your animal is on them. I used to have a 96 lb dog so no dog is too big for me to walk and I will work around my school schedule because I’m in school to be veterinarian. Animals are really my life and I am always willing to help animal owners as much as possible. Please message me if you are interested in my services! (Also I’m fully covid vaccinated for anyone worried) I work part time and go to school online during the summer. My schedule is consistent and I make sure I’m very transparent with any employer! My pets at home all range in ages and in needs. They are all caught up with veterinary care and get enough exercise and attention each day! I plan to provide the same care to your pets as I would do my own.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life as long as I can remember, from small pugs to large Dobermans. I’ve pet-sat a variety of breeds, including Yorkies, pit bulls, German Shepherds, Labs, and everything in between. While I have provided care for young and middle-aged dogs, I also have experience caring for senior dogs, offering them the patience, comfort, and special attention they need to enjoy their golden years. People often ask me, 'Are you a cat person or a dog person?' and my answer is always the same: 'I’m an animal person.' I have a deep love for all animals—domesticated and wild alike. When I'm not at work or spending time with my family, you'll likely find me rescuing a goose or turtle from the road or chasing after a squirrel with a can stuck on its head (which, surprisingly, happens more often than you'd think). My schedule is fairly flexible, and I typically adjust it each week based on my personal commitments and activities. To provide a more accurate answer, I would need to know the location of your pet and the distance from my home, as this will help me better accommodate your pet care needs within my routine. I do not offer animal services within my own home; however, when caring for pets in my client's home, I make sure to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow any specific instructions provided by the pet owner to ensure their pet feels at ease and receives the care they need, whether it’s feeding, medication, playtime, or exercise. I prioritize maintaining the pet’s routine to minimize stress and ensure their safety and well-being.

“Carter was excellent he was always on time he made me feel good leaving my dog with him for the walks knowing she a is a big dog that pulls sometimes but he did a great job highly recomendable”

About: I genuinely enjoy the time spent interacting with dogs. They all have their own personalities that I can assess fairly quickly. I've never had issues with dogs in the past and understand the psychology behind most of their behaviors. I have adopted and trained my current German Shepard Leia. She is not only one of the smartest dogs I've been blessed to have, but also the most playful, loyal and outgoing. Besides the joy that unconditional loving animals like dogs provide, I'd like to use my free time to provide a service for dog owners who need their pets to be walked, trained and looked after I work 4 days of the week and am looking to provide services on my days off Saturday-Monday. I attend to my pets needs throughout the whole week Exercise and play are always important for a happy dog. Allowing them to exert energy while also giving them attention reinforces your bond with them and the respect they will give you as their owner/caretaker

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have recently adopted my dog Bingo. I love dogs and enjoy being around them, which is why I want to provide dog care services for others! I am very responsible and knowledgeable, and know the importance of safety and patience. I hope to meet your dogs soon! I am a teacher and I am currently off for the summer. I am available any time of the day, every day of the week for pet care I have a fenced in yard and always keep my pets on a leash when outside of the fence. I have gates installed in my home and can keep pets separated if necessary for safety or comfort. When meeting new dogs, I am patient and let them meet me at their own pace.

About: My husband Eric (who is a Rover sitter as well) and I are certified Fear Free Pet Sitters. We love dogs and will treat yours as our own "kids" while they are in my care. In fact, many families who trust us with their furry family members come back to wonder who really got the luxury vacation (....clearly the dog, of course...). We currently have a 4 yr old Pitt/Coonhound/Boxer Mix dog named Deogee and Pitt/Lab/Boxer puppy named Luna . They love to play with their doggie friends! In addition, I grew up with large dogs - chow/retriever mix, 2 greyhounds, and a Lab/Great Dane mix- and also took care of my family friends' dogs when they needed daycare, boarding, or helping hand in training. I personally trained Denver, my lab/great Dane mix. In our home, we take the Fear Free Mission Statement to heart. We do not use fear based equipment and aim to always minimize your pet's fear, anxiety, and stress (FAS). Fear Free Mission Statement: Our mission is to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in pets by inspiring and educating the people who care for them. I am a freelance musician and music teacher in the public schools, so my availability is very flexible during weekends, summer, and holidays and my work hours are reasonable. We are avid runners and enjoy being outdoors, and will take any dogs who are boarding with us for daily exercise, in addition to spending time playing with them in our spacious backyard. Our daily routine revolves around our dogs. In the morning, we take the dogs outside, then go running. Then, we feed the dogs. We break up the work day by playing with the dogs. In the evening the dogs are fed, then get a walk and some playtime. I have a fenced in yard at my home, and also gates in my home that allow me to control the environment and make it as safe as possible. Most of the time, the dogs are allowed to freely roam and play throughout my home, but if they need to take a break from the other dogs, we have the capability of giving dogs their own space.

“I've known Lauren for several years, and I can honestly say she is one of the most compassionate and responsible people when it comes to animals. She has worked as a dog groomer, so she not only has experience handling pets of all sizes and temperaments, but also a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. Lauren treats every pet like her own, always showing kindness, patience, and attention to detail. Whether it's going for walks, feeding, grooming, or just giving lots of love and belly rubs, she goes above and beyond. I would trust her with any of my pets without hesitation. Teresa T.
“I’ve known Teresa for six years, and in that time, she’s become one of my closest friends—a thoughtful, dependable, and all-around wonderful person. She's an incredible mom and wife, and the kind of friend who shows up for you (and brings snacks). When it comes to animals, Teresa just gets them. She has a calm, loving energy that animals naturally gravitate toward; I've seen it in action more times than I can count! Whether it's walking a high energy dog, maintaining a schedule, training or just giving extra cuddles & love, she handles it all with care and a good sense of humor (which, let’s be honest, is necessary when you’re dealing with pets). 😆 If I had to leave my pet in someone else's hands, Teresa would be at the top of my list. She's responsible, kind, and truly treats animals like family. Rover clients would be lucky to have her! 🫶🏼”

Sebastian C.
“Seb is the best. We’ve used Seb numerous times (usually stays out our house) and couldn’t be happier. Our Golden Retriever Louie loves when we go away so he can play with Seb. Seb is your go to for any pet sitting needs.”

She just has a heart of gold especially for animals!!!”

Michelle G.Star Sitter
“Michelle loves dogs. I have known her for at least a decade, and over that time we have had a few medium - large dogs. At least one a little more ferocious than others. Michelle has been very kind to them. She is not a big person, but she was able to firmly and gently convince the dog who weighed as much as she did to obey her consistently. Michelle is an avid runner, physically fit, who also enjoys running with the dogs she cares for to get them exercise and let them use their energy. She always remembers to make sure the dogs have adequate access to cool water and good food (on a schedule), and lets them out to do their business whenever needed (we have a fenced yard). She is very good at playing with our dogs, brushing them to groom out the thick winter hair in the summer months, and doesn't mind picking up after them either. Michelle is very good at taking initiative to make sure the dogs have what they need, but is also willing to take specific directions and do only what is asked of her. I highly recommend Michelle to care for your dogs!”
Timbuctoo dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amanda is hands down the best dog walker I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I have to leave town for long periods of time for work and Amanda never missed a beat (or a day). She is kind, she’s is communicative, she is GREAT with my dog, she is flexible, she is consistent, the list goes on and on. You will truly never have to worry with Amanda; she IS your best candidate!

Carter was timely and communicative through the initial meeting set up and when he met Clara for the first time. He asked questions relating to her behavior and temperament too! Clara loved him at first sight. We look forward to using Carter to help with walking Clara in the future.
