However, she went above and beyond to love on my dogs so they wouldn't be upset that I was gone. She communicated daily, sent pictures, and tailored her schedule around the dog's needs. Kathy was also flexible when the dogfood unexpectedly ran out and I had to order more while out of the country. She offered to get food for them locally and then modified their feeding schedule while waiting for the food shipment. Both dogs were happy and healthy when I got home and its clear they were well loved and taken care of. The house was also cleaner than when I left! I've already asked Kathy if she is available for my next trip!”

About: I have been caring for friends and neighbors dogs, cats, and small animals since i was 13. I also volunteer at the PWC Animal Shelter! I am an incoming first year college student starting at Shenandoah University in the fall, i currently have a lot of availability all day, every day! We have 20+ years of experience taking care of animals from walking dogs to changing litter boxes. Between the two of us, we have adopted two cats, one geriatric dog, and two rabbits. I have been exposed to all types of animals from farm to regular housepets. I was raised living with a cat and taking care of chickens. About: Hi! I am a 20 year old college student, who would love to be considered for taking care of your furry friend! I grew up around a lot of different animals, but abundantly dogs , which allowed me to gain a lot of experience with them. Since I was a young teenager I walked and did check-ins for families with one to multiple dogs, and eventually did one or two over-night doggy-sitting! I have experience in taking care of puppies and elderly dogs as I grew up in a home where we regularly fostered dogs of those ages. I give the dogs I take care of the love, attention and respect I would give to my own. My schedule allows me to be quite flexible with fitting in pet care into my schedule. To make sure I give your dog the attention and care needed, I would love to schedule an appropriate amount of time ahead. Generally speaking though, I would plan around your pet! I follow the rules and expectations set by you! I do ask everyone who’s dogs I take care of to give me a list of do’s and don’ts because not every dog is the same. I also make sure to ask for typical behavior and moods for the dogs, so that if something is potentially wrong, I am able to identify it!

About: I grew up taking care of all kinds of animals including chickens, goats, cows, pigs, and of course cats and dogs. I’ve independently cared for animals since I can remember! I am a student at Virginia Tech with a pretty flexible schedule. I have time in between my classes to be able to let your animals outside or just spend time with them! Because I live in an apartment, I unfortunately cannot house animals with me in my home. However, I am happy to take them on walks and hang out with them at their home.
