About: I am here to treat your fur babies as if they’re my own! I have two kitties, Titten and Max, so rest assured that I will give your fur babies the same kind of love and care I give them. That means your fur babies will receive tons of love and many pets! I’ve taken care of numerous dogs and cats from various walks of life. For example, I started taking care of a rescue dog who was incredibly skittish and afraid when we first met. It took a few visits, but he warmed up to me and now lets me pet him! I will always follow your instructions meticulously, and I’ll be sure to ask questions if I don’t understand something fully. My ultimate desire is to love your fur babies well, and help you maintain their routine while you’re away. Thank you for trusting me with your animal(s)! I am currently pet/house sitting part time, as I do work retail (roughly 20 hours a week). My shifts are rarely longer than 5.5 hours, though. I still have ample time to spend with your animals. About: I have had my own dogs, plus taken care of my friends dogs in my home for 20+ years. I also have 4 dog adoring teenagers who also will love on your fur baby. We have a 2 year old Morkie with a big personality. I am a stay at home homeschool mom. Other than taking teens to/from work or at the gym, I am routinely home for dog care. There is rarely a time when I or one of my children isn’t home. I am able to walk your dog at our home or yours, or let them in our fenced back yard if they are staying with me. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
