During summers we are available at all waking hours of any days we’re not on a family vacation. During the school year we lose family pet minders during the school day but are available after school and on weekends. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

About: I have been taking care of my 18-year-old cat since she was born. She has recently gone deaf and requires more attention. For two years, I frequently took care of a family with 5 children and 2 Great Danes. I give my cat attention daily, making sure she feels loved and content. This often includes filling her food, water, and changing her litter box, as well as many pets and cuddles. I would love to walk, play with, and take care of your pets. At home, I make sure my cat has a clean litter box and plenty of attention.

About: Animals have been a passion of mine all of my life. I have owned and cared for many species including fish, reptiles, birds, hamsters, dogs and cats. My love for animals brought me to work as a veterinary assistant and later to attend the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers. I have now been training and competing with my own dogs for 20 years and am also a professional dog trainer. As a trainer, I have earned the credentials to be an AKC Canine Good Citizen/S.T.A.R. Puppy/ Farm Dog/ Trick dog evaluator. With my veterinary assistant and dog training experience I have gained the knowledge to properly handle and care for many beloved pets. I can assure you that I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am available most days. Mondays and Wednesdays I am unavailable between 9:00AM-5:00PM. I have plenty of time to provide services for you and your pets. If boarding in my home- you can use my kennel set up or bring your own crate. I have a nice, fenced play yard that I use to let my dogs and visiting dogs run and play (I do not let my own dogs play with visiting dogs). I also have a built-in dog bathtub that I can used to give your dog a nice bath (for an added fee) before they return home upon request. When I visit a home- I follow given instructions and keep the area clean. My goal is for you to not even notice I was there. When I visit to walk your pet-I follow instructions and keep the area clean. I remain aware and not distracted. This ensures your pet remains safe and engaged during the walk. If your dog is more fearful-I try to make the walk as stress-free as possible.
About: I have been around dogs since the day I was born, and my family has always had at least two dogs in our family at all times! I have also always been a trusted source when it comes to watching family, friends, and neighbors' animals! For example, I have watched puppies, dogs, kittens, cats, fish, and even guinea pigs. Two of my own dogs are Leader Dogs for the blind moms, so I have experience with all different kinds of situations and ages when it comes to dogs. I also have experience with elder dogs as I have had 4 dogs pass from old age and have experience with health problems in dogs as well. I currently do not have a job so I am available any day at any time. I do have a prior commitment from July 23rd-27th and I leave for college at the end of August. I have a ton of experience when it comes to safety and caring for pets. My dogs go outside with a leash on, especially during walks. If there is a fence for the pets to use I will keep my eyes on them at all times, because no one ever knows what can happen. I have experience with putting pets into a crate or cage if necessary.
