About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I love taking care of them, making their days full of fun and ensuring that they're healthy and loved. I walked my miniature daschund and chocolate lab side by side for years, so I got a lot of experience with a range of sizes and types of dogs. I’ve worked with the Blue Ridge Humane Society as well in my career. I cared for and interacted with puppies, teens and old doggies with all sorts of medical problems, temperaments and personalities. The attention and care they deserve will not be missing when I am around. I now have a bordercollie mix of my own, and he has taught me even more about what makes dogs happy. I have experience house sitting for neighborhood pets, experience giving medicine to dogs, taking care of elderly dogs and youngsters. I also volunteered at my local SPCA throughout college and got a lot of experience handling different levels of leash-trained dogs, and reactive dogs. I am currently between roles in my career, due to a sudden loss in my family. I am available to care for your pets whenever they need and I know they deserve the utmost love — since my pet is keeping me going these days too. My first priority is making sure your animal feels safe around me and comfortable. Once I gain their trust, whether it’s instant or over a few visits, I will be sure to learn their favorite ways to live and provide that for them. I will walk them on their favorite trails, give them their favorite scratches, snuggle if they need or just let them have their space and potty breaks. I listen to the animals needs and respond.

“First let me say this was the first time I used Rover for dog sitting. I was very nervous since we had never left our new puppy with anyone. It took about five searches to find someone available and I was so happy it was Kat!!! She was amazing, she truly took care of my pup and kept me updated the entire time we were away. She needed to come back after we returned to pick it up something she left and my pup was so excited to see her. After she left he stood at the door for 10 minutes waiting for her to return. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 my family and friends always ask me to take care of walking ,feeding , and administrating medicine . I work at the Easton Elementary i usually get off anywhere between 3:55-4pm so I can do check ins and or walks Monday through Friday after I get off from work on the weekends I have a very flexible schedule so I can do anytime I had 2 dogs they passed away this year due to older age couple of months ago but I have a backyard with a closed off fence top to bottom so your pets will be very safe and have a good yard to run around and stretch

About: My dog passed and I miss her company! So I love having visitors to keep me company and play with while working from home :) Work from home, I'm free to walk the dogs first thing the the morning, around noon and anytime in the evening and spend the whole day with them if needed :) Quiet home, no children, no smoking, no other dogs or cats - just fish n two birds, half way fenced Yard, but very safe. We can walk around the neighborhood, there is a park down the street as well and the back yard.

Available Fridays,Saturdays and Sundays some mondays. I do work Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 12 hour shifts but I wouldn't mind stopping over before work or after work. I will treat pets like they are my own. I will feed them,play with them and make sure they are comfortable and happy before I leave.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since childhood . My father breed Dobermans for many of my pre teen years and I was apart of caring for the pups .My friends and family find it amazing how much care and love I provide for my pets and theirs too. About: I love dogs and I love spending time with them and playing with them! I love to snuggle or lay close with them and make sure they are comfortable at all times. About: Dogs have always been part of my life. My wife and I long ago decided our family wasn’t complete without a big goofy dog (or two) in it. We have got two active boys to play with as well. About: My name is Taylor and I am a veterinary technician servicing the DMV area. I have been working with dogs specifically since I was 15 and cats since I was 18. I personally have a cat and have had dogs in the past, and I understand the stress put on the importance of finding someone that you can trust to watch your animals while you are away. Depending on the customers request, I am able to accommodate most housing accomodations. There is a room specifically designated in the house for the pet for the duration of the stay, which has toys, beds, food and water as well as a TV. it’s also a daybed for me as well so that I am able to stay in the room with your pet. My backyard is large and it’s open, however I will be keeping pers on-leash anytime they are outside.

About: I got my first dog ever a decade ago and I raised him to be perfect, with no professional training for either of us. Then, I quit my ten year career in digital marketing to follow my passion and work entirely with dogs. I worked as a bark ranger at Bark Social and made dog safety my top priority, followed by (I cut humping down considerably). I loudly advocated for a transformation of safety rules while I worked there. I volunteer at BARCS and am aiming to get advanced training for different dog behavior needs. Howie is my top reference. I adopted my second dog (Shadow) after instantly bonding with her at my old job. Shadow is bonkers and her parent has health issues, so Shadow needed a home where she can be her true self. Dogs are my world and I will give your pet all the love and affection they deserve (which is all of it because they are perfect). Dogs run my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The only thing I can see myself doing for the rest of my life is working with animals. I’m all in so I’m available most hours and most days. I’m literally with dogs 95% of my life so dogs are my daily routine. They’ll get over it if I spend some time with your dog though. But they’ll love becoming best buddies with any pet that boards or does daycare with them! All boarding and daycare clients will have an apple AirTag tracking chip affixed to them for the duration of our time together (if wearing a collar). I use a hands free leash attached around my waist so they’re stuck with me. I also use their handheld leash as a backup. I have a shared balcony and private fenced back patio, so there is always a secure outside area for your dog. My house is less than a block from Patterson park, giving them plenty of outside opportunities. My training style is radical love. Your pets will know they’re cared for and will get plenty of positive reinforcement from my end! I have two extremely friendly dogs, so there will always be friends for your pet. Dogs run my household and life revolves around them. Your dog is in safe and loving hands whether I’m walking, visiting, or boarding them. I love this community and plan on staying here for the rest of my life. Help me eventually buy a house here and you’ll have a walker/sitter for life!

About: I don’t feel it’s difficult to follow the instructions that the owners give, and that is what I am there to do. I want the animal to be comfortable while waiting for you to come home. I interact with their needs and especially if special instructions are needed. My weekly schedule would revolve around what time the job is needed by the customer. I’m very flexible. I’m retired. Still have lots of energy for easy stuff like watching puppies and kitties. It is easy for me to listen to what the owner wants to do when caring for the deeds of the animal. I’m familiar with creating. I am familiar with letting out into a fenced yard. I am familiar with walking older animals.
