About: I have been taking car of dogs since I was 16 and have continued to care for the same dogs for years to this day I work a full time job and have a dog of my own so morning and afternoon visits preferred. Usually from 5:00 to 6 am and anytime after 4 pm can include multiple visits in the evening Always start off by meeting the animals first. The first time I stop by I usually let the pet meet me first then start care whether that’s walking or just letting outside. After that I always save some time to play and let energy out

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. I’m a Big advocate on animal rescue. I have watched friends and families animals when they go out of town. I currently work part time as a server. I would like to transition into pet care full-time. after the new year. Making myself available to come to you is something I think is important so you and your pet feel more comfortable in your own surroundings. I would care for your pet in your home along with your pet routine. I know how important it is for your pet to stay on their routine. With you being gone it will help ease pet anxiety, if they have it.

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and backgrounds. I grew up with large-breed dogs and have loved dogs my entire life. When I moved out on my own, adopting a dog was one of the first things I did! I currently have three resident dogs, all of whom I trained myself. Two of the three have severe separation anxiety, so I'm quite well-versed in some of the behavioral traits that come along with that. For the past two years, I've also been actively involved in the dog rescue world by fostering. I've fostered 12 dogs ranging from young puppies who needed to learn the basics to adult dogs who came with more challenging behavioral needs such as resource guarding. These experiences have taught me to be patient, observant, and adaptable with every dog I care for. I understand that not every dog is going to walk into a new environment perfectly behaved, and I genuinely enjoy meeting them where they are and helping them feel safe and comfortable. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, a perfectly behaved adult, or somewhere in between, I'll treat them like one of my own. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. My resident dogs still rule my daily routine. Your pup will get plenty of attention throughout the day/night and can have potty breaks as consistently as needed. I've house trained seven puppies over the past two years, so I'm very used to frequent potty breaks if that's something your pup needs. Otherwise, every 2-4 hours is pretty consistent with the routine my resident dogs are on. I've fostered dogs with a variety of different needs and have always worked it into my schedule. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home, so I'm happy to adapt my approach to each dog's individual needs and your preferences as a pet parent. I do have three resident dogs in my home, all of whom are extremely dog friendly. Ideally, dogs staying in my home will be comfortable around other dogs, but I understand that not every dog wants or needs constant interaction. I have a separate guest room that I've previously used for foster dogs who needed some quiet time or a slower introduction. If your pup needs their own space, they can have a dedicated area away from my resident dogs while still having plenty of company - I work from home, and the guest room also serves as my home office. I have an unfenced yard, so dogs are always taken outside on a leash. I also have a long line that allows fogs more freedom to sniff, explore, and play while remaining safely contained. Outdoor time is always supervised, whether your dog is staying with me or I'm caring for them in your home. When caring for a dog in your home, I'll follow your instructions and do my best to maintain your pup's normal routine, including feeding, medication, walks, potty breaks, and any other care they're accustomed to. My priority is always safety, communication, and making sure your pup feels comfortable and well cared for while you're away. I've had people care for my own dogs while I've been away, and I've experienced both sides of the spectrum - sitters who went above and beyond and sitters who left me wishing I'd been there myself. I know how important it is to maintain a dog's routine and give them the same care and attention they're used to. I've read a few dog psychology books so I do have a good understanding of different communication styles that dogs may have and I have experience with reactive dogs and elderly dogs as well. When I walk your dog, I have no problems communicating with strangers and setting boundaries. I am very protective of my animal clients peace and safety. I always err on the side of caution. With pets, I am gentle but firm and it creates an environment that dogs love. I love playing with dogs and engaging their minds. I also communicate with your pet to ensure they are happy (which room they prefer, how they like to be pet, how they like to be played with) and I tell them every day that you're coming back. I genuinely love each animal that I interact with and treat them how I'd want them to be treated if they were mine. I'm also punctual and communicative. My late dog was also reactive and could be aggressive, so I have experience dealing with large dogs that have strong boundaries. I work from home so I am available to stay with your pet all day long! When I do leave, it's usually never for more than 4 hours and I have a L crate and an XL crate that your babies can stay in if needed. For sitting in your home, I do bring my 6lb chihuahua. If your dog needs to be separated from small I have a large backyard with a privacy fence on all four sides. I have a 20 y/o but there is a pet gate that keeps the house in two parts. Your pet will not interact with my pet at all. Dogs have their own room and will be allowed free roam of one half of my home. It's a large space.
