About: ​I have a lifelong passion for animal care combined with a professional background in healthcare. Holding active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and medication administration, caregiving is truly second nature to me. At home, my life is happily run by my own diverse fur family: a high-energy 3-year-old German Shepherd, a sweet senior miniature dachshund, and a cat. Living with this wonderful crew means I don't just understand pet care in theory—I live it every day. I know exactly what it takes to securely walk and handle a powerful, large breed; how to gently accommodate the slower pace and fragile back of a senior small dog; and how to respect the independent boundaries of a cat. ​My goal is to provide total peace of mind for pet parents. Whether your dog needs a brisk midday walk or your cat needs a quiet, comforting drop-in visit, I approach every pet with the same patience, clinical attentiveness, and love that I give to my human patients and my own animals. Because of my formal medical training, I am entirely comfortable, calm, and precise when administering oral medications, managing specific dietary needs, or monitoring senior pets with health or mobility challenges. I pride myself on punctuality, clear communication, and keeping your home exactly as you left it. You'll always get detailed updates and plenty of photos from our visits! Since pet care is my full-time focus, I have open and flexible availability throughout the day to give your pups all the attention, playtime, and care they need! Whether it's walks, or check-ins, I am fully dedicated to keeping your pets happy and safe on any schedule. I’m happy to schedule a meet & greet and discuss your pet’s care needs before booking. Please note that dates are not reserved until a booking is confirmed and payment has been completed through Rover. I provide drop-in care exclusively in your home, ensuring your pet's established routine and safety are my absolute priorities. I also offer walks! With a professional background in medical care, I am exceptionally observant, detail-oriented, and fully comfortable administering medications or managing specific health routines. I treat your home with complete respect, ensuring a secure, stress-free environment during every visit.

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and backgrounds. I grew up with large-breed dogs and have loved dogs my entire life. When I moved out on my own, adopting a dog was one of the first things I did! I currently have three resident dogs, all of whom I trained myself. Two of the three have severe separation anxiety, so I'm quite well-versed in some of the behavioral traits that come along with that. For the past two years, I've also been actively involved in the dog rescue world by fostering. I've fostered 12 dogs ranging from young puppies who needed to learn the basics to adult dogs who came with more challenging behavioral needs such as resource guarding. These experiences have taught me to be patient, observant, and adaptable with every dog I care for. I understand that not every dog is going to walk into a new environment perfectly behaved, and I genuinely enjoy meeting them where they are and helping them feel safe and comfortable. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, a perfectly behaved adult, or somewhere in between, I'll treat them like one of my own. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. My resident dogs still rule my daily routine. Your pup will get plenty of attention throughout the day/night and can have potty breaks as consistently as needed. I've house trained seven puppies over the past two years, so I'm very used to frequent potty breaks if that's something your pup needs. Otherwise, every 2-4 hours is pretty consistent with the routine my resident dogs are on. I've fostered dogs with a variety of different needs and have always worked it into my schedule. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home, so I'm happy to adapt my approach to each dog's individual needs and your preferences as a pet parent. I do have three resident dogs in my home, all of whom are extremely dog friendly. Ideally, dogs staying in my home will be comfortable around other dogs, but I understand that not every dog wants or needs constant interaction. I have a separate guest room that I've previously used for foster dogs who needed some quiet time or a slower introduction. If your pup needs their own space, they can have a dedicated area away from my resident dogs while still having plenty of company - I work from home, and the guest room also serves as my home office. I have an unfenced yard, so dogs are always taken outside on a leash. I also have a long line that allows fogs more freedom to sniff, explore, and play while remaining safely contained. Outdoor time is always supervised, whether your dog is staying with me or I'm caring for them in your home. When caring for a dog in your home, I'll follow your instructions and do my best to maintain your pup's normal routine, including feeding, medication, walks, potty breaks, and any other care they're accustomed to. My priority is always safety, communication, and making sure your pup feels comfortable and well cared for while you're away. I've had people care for my own dogs while I've been away, and I've experienced both sides of the spectrum - sitters who went above and beyond and sitters who left me wishing I'd been there myself. I know how important it is to maintain a dog's routine and give them the same care and attention they're used to. My own dogs are basically my children, so I know exactly what level of care I'd want for them. That's the same standard I'll bring to caring for yours!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. I’m a Big advocate on animal rescue. I have watched friends and families animals when they go out of town. I currently work part time as a server. I would like to transition into pet care full-time. after the new year. Making myself available to come to you is something I think is important so you and your pet feel more comfortable in your own surroundings. I would care for your pet in your home along with your pet routine. I know how important it is for your pet to stay on their routine. With you being gone it will help ease pet anxiety, if they have it.

About: I have always had at least one animal in my home since I was born. My grandmother showed dogs and I would often help her get them trained and groomed. She was also an amazing professional dog groomer and I spent a large chunk of my time with her and learning from her. I like puppies but I have a love for older dogs. I have experience administering meds and injections. I work part time, on the weekends and I go to college full time. In the summer I work 5 days a week but based on your needs I can fit your furry friend into my schedule. I like to have a little list of things that you would think is important like the vet you want them to go to if your baby gets hurt, a feeding schedule, and anything that you may have concerns about while I stay at your house. I treat all of the animals I watch as they are my own babies and think it’s important to gain the trust of them while at your home, so they feel more comfortable.

I believe pets deserve respect and autonomy and I'll do my best to treat your babies like I treat my own boys. I've read a few dog psychology books so I do have a good understanding of different communication styles that dogs may have and I have experience with reactive dogs and elderly dogs as well. When I walk your dog, I have no problems communicating with strangers and setting boundaries. I am very protective of my animal clients peace and safety. I always err on the side of caution. With pets, I am gentle but firm and it creates an environment that dogs love. I love playing with dogs and engaging their minds. I also communicate with your pet to ensure they are happy (which room they prefer, how they like to be pet, how they like to be played with) and I tell them every day that you're coming back. I genuinely love each animal that I interact with and treat them how I'd want them to be treated if they were mine. I'm also punctual and communicative. My late dog was also reactive and could be aggressive, so I have experience dealing with large dogs that have strong boundaries. I work from home so I am available to stay with your pet all day long! When I do leave, it's usually never for more than 4 hours and I have a L crate and an XL crate that your babies can stay in if needed. For sitting in your home, I do bring my 6lb chihuahua. If your dog needs to be separated from small I have a large backyard with a privacy fence on all four sides. I have a 20 y/o but there is a pet gate that keeps the house in two parts. Your pet will not interact with my pet at all. Dogs have their own room and will be allowed free roam of one half of my home. It's a large space.

“We are 100% pleased/satisfied with Megan’s care of Dude. He weighs 100 lbs and will jump on people and get mouthy when he meets some people. He eventually calms down, but depending upon the person it can take awhile. Megan quickly got him under control. She was loving and was able to get him follow her commands. She happily came to meet him before her stay with him and easily walked him. We were very comfortable with him in her care. In addition she is a wonderful human being who is actively involved in her community. I enjoyed meeting and talking with her.”

About: I have babysit my family and friends fur babies over night for several years now . I enjoy spending the time with them and enjoy taking them on long walks and having play time with them. I have four dogs of my own that I take care of. I work for amazon right now monday thru thursday. Iam opened to helping out with customers pets friday tru sunday. I feed and water my dogs everyday, plus play with them to. If its a nice out i let my dogs choose if they want to stay outside or not until i get home from work, but they are inside on nasty days. They do come in at night and sleep with us. I give them their owns baths and trim their own nails. At the clients home I take their dog outside on a nice day to play and take their dogs on a walk. Before I would leave the clients home, I would make sure that their fur babies would have water and food . When we are on walks I make sure I carry water with me for their fur babies.
