“I 100% recommend her! My dog absolutely loved staying with her. She kept me updated every day and sent me photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She also has a big yard where the dogs can play and enjoy themselves. When I picked my dog up, he was happy and it was clear that he had a great time. I would definitely trust her with him again! ❤️🐶”

“Wallie had so much fun with Wendy and her dog, Murphy. He has been so sleepy since I brought him home. Wendy has a great property for dogs to run and play. There was a small chicken bone related incident on Wallie’s first night but Wendy was super communicative about everything and monitored the situation while giving my updates and everything ended up being fine. Would absolutely book with Wendy and Murphy again.”

“Josie, her dog, family, home.... is more than we could have asked for for our a Cooper and Daisy. Daisy had a fantastic friend to play with and had a huge yard filled with toys, space and fun! Cooper had a couch to cozy up on. They both came back home healthier and more fit!!! I really appreciate Josie and her family! Josie is like the responsible and trusted family member that you trust! Also, she is so close to the Bozman Airport, it was so convenient... She is the only person we want to ever trust our puppets with!”

“Katherine & Jake are so wonderful! Great communicators, wonderful with dogs & happy to accommodate to your dogs needs. They send many photos and videos with updates, detailing how much fun your pup is having with their doggos. Super sweet people who love animals big time. Highly recommend!”

“Toaster had the best time with Eliza and Gus! I could tell that he was getting so well taken care of. ☺️ My spoiled boy even got to sleep in the bed, lol! Toaster can’t wait to come back to play with Gus on his next vacation!”

“Naomi and her cat duchess were so good to my senior dog Cody. He was very happy and totally at ease when I went to pick him up. This was a last minute booking and Naomi was great about it. Would highly recommend her.”

“Cait was so awesome with Echo! We had to find something last minute to spend the weekend in Whitefish and this was the perfect option. Cait sent many photos and set our minds at ease while away from Echo. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Danielle was wonderful with Melke! She kept me up to date and sent lots of pictures. Melke was so happy when I got home & I could tell she had the best time & was well taken care of! I definitely recommend Danielle & I for sure use her in the future!”

About: I’ve had my own dogs & cats all my life and love to love them! I’ve dog sat 7 dogs at one time and they were all such happy campers! I do not currently live with all of my pets! Puhi and Bass, my cats, live with me. I am currently a full-time student and work part time at a local restaurant. I do have lots of free time where I would love to take care of some dogs and cats to fill my time. I am very aware of my surroundings when I’m in charge of other peoples animals. I can crate them if needed and walk them as much as needed, etc.

“Emma, and her extended family of humans and pets, are so warm, friendly, relaxed and confident. Ruby (my lab) needs lots of attention and certainly got that. I could tell because Ruby was so relaxed when she came home with me. (Often Ruby gets mad at me for going away.) Emma has a comfortable home for our pets and an awesome fenced in back yard for the dogs to roam. 5 stars :-)”

About: I have been dog sitting for about 5 years, I can manage medications or any needs your dog needs. I have one dog who is super friendly and gets along with any dogs!! I have sat in peoples houses and have kept them in my own. I take my dog on at least one walk a day and would make sure your dog got outside and has lots of play time! I have a dog of my own and I take her on a walk or throw to her daily! I let her out every 3-6 hours, and am available for different schedules! My dog is well trained but I let her on furniture and my bed. I would be willing to adjust based on each dogs needs. I live in the basement of a home and have plenty of room for a crate and some extra paws!
“Our dog Lola had another wonderful stay with Sarah and her family. Lola is an older sensitive gal, and Sarah is attentive to Lola's needs by spreading extra rugs around the house, and allowing Lola to sleep upstairs in their room. Sarah also takes Lola out on walks, no matter the weather, to keep Lola's old bones moving. Lola settles in easily at Sarah's, and is always relaxed and happy when I pick her up. Finally, Sarah is very easy to communicate with and always responds right away to my communications.”

Kelly was absolutely outstanding! She took exceptional care of my German Shepherd, Stryker, and my cat, Houdini, while I was away. Her professionalism, reliability, and genuine compassion for animals were evident throughout their stay. She kept me well-informed with timely updates and wonderful photos that made it clear both Stryker and Houdini were happy, comfortable, and receiving excellent care. Knowing they were in such capable and caring hands gave me complete peace of mind throughout my trip. Kelly truly exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Three Forks home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Three Forks.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Three Forks sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
