I worked in veterinary hospitals previously and have achieved the highest possible volunteer status at Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter. I am experienced in working with animals from a wide range of backgrounds and needs, and I pride myself in providing care that keeps your furry family members safe and comfortable. I am an excellent communicator and very dependable, so you will never be left feeling in the dark or wondering what’s going on while your pet is in my care. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds as well as cats, rabbits, reptiles, rodents, fish, horses, chickens, and goats. I am comfortable and experienced caring for seniors, pets with special needs, allergies and dietary restrictions, and pets that require medication. I work remotely, making me capable of caring for your pet(s) in your home or my own. I have flexibility with my schedule, so I can accommodate most feeding, exercise, and break routines your pets are used to! I have a fenced yard on 1/3 of a acre, live in a quiet neighborhood near a paved trail, and am half a mile away from a small local dog park. Our pets are part of our family, and your pet is, too, while in my care! My two dogs and three cats are all allowed on furniture and beds. We separate everyone for feeding (and as needed when there are furry guests staying with us), and each animal in my home or that I care for experiences lots of snuggles, play time, exercise, and plenty of peace and quiet as well.

About: I have had high energy dogs mostly heelers and love to take them outside for adventures. It helps me bond with them and teach them to be social. I currently work evenings and bring my our dog out for walks all the time during the day. I love taking him to the dog park and hiking and have room to bring others with me. I mostly take my dog to the dog park and leash him when I take him hiking. I would be able to bring another dog with us when we adventure.
