About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 5 years and have experience with both dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I also worked for a woman who owned her own Yorkie breeding business for a year, where I helped care for puppies and adult dogs daily. Along with that experience, I’ve helped neighbors, friends, and family with feeding, walking, playtime, overnight care, and giving pets plenty of attention and affection. I’ve also worked with cats for 2 years, and they’re one of my favorite animals to care for. I’m dependable, patient, and treat every pet like they’re my own. My schedule is flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet parent’s needs. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, overnight care, and extended stays depending on availability. About: I'm a recent graduate from IU Bloomington with several years of experience caring for animals, especially cats. I spent two years working in an animal shelter, helping with daily care, low-stress interactions, and making pets feel comfortable around new people and routines. I also have clinical experience caring for a high volume of cats, including shy, sensitive, or easily stressed cats who need a calm and patient approach. I’m very comfortable reading cat body language and adjusting my care to what each individual cat needs. Over the years, I’ve pet sat for many families and individual pet owners, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. I’m the type of sitter who wants your pet to feel comfortable and cared for, and I always send clear updates and photos so you feel completely at ease while you’re gone. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. My current availability is: Monday: fully free Tuesday: fully free Wednesday: fully free Thursday: fully free Friday: fully free Saturday: fully free Sunday: fully free I’m very careful about safety and trust, especially with cats who can be cautious with new people. I follow their routine closely, move at their pace, and never push interaction if they’re not feeling it. I’m careful about doors and any escape risks when entering or leaving. I pay close attention to body language and the small things that can signal stress or discomfort, and I’ll always reach out right away if anything seems unusual. I send clear photo updates each visit so you always know how things are going while you’re away.
About: I have my own dog. I've grown up with dogs. I worked at a pet store when I was a teenager, and have house/pet sat before. Although, I'm not a vet, I'm observant and will keep an eye out for issues that concern you. Pet health is important. That includes nutrition and grooming. I know some think there is such a thing as over involved pet parents, I think they're family and should be treated as such. I volunteer at my church every Thursday, Backpack Program fifth Wednesdays (when they occur) and Orphan Grain Train every other month on the third Thursday. Otherwise, I take care of my dad who has COPD. I have to be home to cook for him. And take care of my own dog. Eventually, I will allow dogs to stay with me overnight, but I want to make sure my dog and said dogs get along. So that is my availability. I have a pitbull mix. She is very good around other dogs. Especially after she gets to know them. She's not aggressive, just tends to hump when excited. All dogs will need a leash if they are coming with me. I have walking trails in my community. I have no problem walking your dogs in them. Please make sure they have up to date tick meds. Also I live with my dad he will be petting and loving any pet that spends the night. My house is two story, so if you have a senior dog that needs help just let me know.
“Alyssa was great with our doggies! She sent us pics at every visit, so we could see how great they were doing. They had time to play outside and get some snuggles, and were also kept on their usual feeding routine. Would totally recommend her and would schedule with her again!”

I have 2 cats and 2 dogs at home so I experience animals everyday! I work part time in sales! I typically Work from 1 pm to 7 pm around 5 days a week. However that is very flexible! If i was taking care of your pets I would manage in time for them into my hours! I have plenty experience house sitting and animal experience. I am very trustworthy and responsible. I am hear to help you in whatever ways I can to make your life easier!!
About: Growing up in an animal loving family, animals have always been a major part of my life! I have always known a life where cats and dogs are apart of it, and are expected to be treated with love and respect. My goal for taking care of animals is the same way I am with any human - to leave them feeling more loved than they did before I came into contact with them. The same way humans need routine, tended to with intention, and connected with is the same for our animals! What I can promise for your animals being in my care is to provide a home away from home, with snuggles, plenty of walks, a kept up routine, and a clean and cozy space to land. I can’t wait to meet your angels! I am a college student with carved out personal breaks in my day that any animal could be loved on in that time frame! I also am a creature of habit, and love to help keep the animals routine in any way I can and can shift my day around whatever they would need. My goal is to make my space feel no different from what an animal would have at their space at home, and if I’m in their home when taking care of them, respecting and keeping their space sacred as well!
