“We have 4 animals (2 dogs, cat, rabbit). Traisaun stayed with them over the weekend and did an amazing job with them. We can tell how much they enjoyed (or not) their sitter by how needy they are when we get home. Traisaun was very attentive and interactive with them. They calmed down (and went to sleep) very quickly after we got home, which means they really didn’t miss us when he was here. Each of the animals has their own feedings, needs, and exercise (and some medicines), so they are not the easiest pets to sit for. I would highly recommend Traisaun and will definitely have him sit with them if he’s available! Oh, and the house was spotless when we got back! (did I mention 4 animals?) You won’t go wrong with Traisaun!”

About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I have been dog sitting for friends, family, and neighbors for the past 10 years now and it’s by far my favorite job I’ve had yet. I’ve recently moved to Pittsburgh and looking for new furry friends to love and take care of! I’m currently in school at CCAC part time taking away my Monday and Tuesday afternoons. About: I grew up in a house of 3 or more medium/ large dogs ranging from a brittany spaniel to a greyhound and later a Jack Russell. As a teen was the go to dog sitter when my parents had to go on business trips, making sure I let them out, and fed them in their separate areas. I have house sat for 3 cats and dog. I have experience walking dogs as well as feeding them their appropriate diets. I would be happy to play with your pet and make them feel loved while you're away. More recently I have been the go to sitter for my friends sweet senior pup and his wild puppy sibling, where I worked on leash walking and teaching her how to sit. Depending on the pet and their needs I can be available whenever works for them! I will work around my schedule to make sure they are getting the time and attention they need! I care for pets like they're my own, which means taking care of them as specified. At the end of the day, I want your pet to be safe and happy!

About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I have had dogs, cats, and many smaller critters throughout my life, and my own pets for over 25 years. My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing many animals, and continued that tradition into adulthood, so I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area from about 7am-3pm mon-thursday, so will not be available in the home or for potty breaks during those hours. The absolute longest I would leave a pet during a house-sitting is 8 hours on those days. All other outings/errands would be less than four hours, tops, but usually only about an hour. I am comfortable with more or less any pet, from rodents to lizards and I am not squirmish about even the creepy crawlies and slithery noodles. I can and have given almost every kind of medication there is, including subcutaneous injections, and am comfortable doing so with care and compassion and confidence. I am just starting out with professional pet sitting on Rover, I did it years ago in Seattle as a side gig on my own with Craigslist posts, and have had a couple gigs on here so far. I am clean, responsible, and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, and you can get a feel for my vibe and professionalism at that time, but I am sure you will like me and feel comfortable having me in your home. As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings. I also am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible, and will clean litter boxes daily and change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I work as a housekeeper from 7am-3pm mon-thursday around the greater Pittsburgh area. If you have multiple dogs who need round the clock supervision and you book me at least three weeks before the sitting start date, than we could work that out and I could block out my housekeeping schedule for that time and just be available for the sitting job (my rates will be increased in this situation as I am priced for my current availability, not constant care and being unable to make my normal wages during the sit). I don't do sitting in my own home since I have two cats and a husband and no fenced in yard. In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I will spend lots of time loving and socializing your pets, and I set alarms and try to keep potty breaks frequent to avoid accidents and less stress.

About: I've had cats and dogs all my life. I grew up with 3 dogs, and once I was in college I had two Rottweilers that have since passed onto the rainbow bridge. They were my pride and joy - our favourite thing to do together was camp! Looking to fill the pet void by helping some fellow yinzers out. I take the upmost pride in keeping your animal safe and at ease. I won't take your precious fur baby anywhere unfamiliar, especially when first getting to know each other. I also will treat your animal as if they were mine. I am teacher who is on summer break and looking for a career change. I am available all days, anytime until I find my next gig. Once I have another full time job, I will update availability. I do not offer care in my own home (Husband is allergic). I have a kind demeanour and have always loved animals.
