“Mary was an amazing pet sitter to our dog. She sent photos and videos daily. I could tell by the videos and photos that our dog was very well taken care of while we were away and it took the stress out of traveling, knowing that she was in such good hands. I would definitely have Mary back to pet sit. Highly recommend!”

“Nexsy was incredible. She helped on short notice and still snuck in a meet and greet. Polite, kind, and very understanding of our dogs. She went above and beyond during the time she spent with them by doing some helpful behavioral training. We felt they were in safe and capable hands. Highly recommended!”

“Sammy cared for our pets several full days and nailed their routines and playtime. She texted updates and sent pics regularly. Our dog and cat are quite needy and Sammy made them feel secure and happy. We felt relieved and assured they were in great hands, and she willingly took care of minor home issues that came up. Her experience and love for pets - both dogs and cats, was evident.”

“Haley was awesome! Communicative, punctual, and responsible. She was great with our sweet (and sometimes crazy!) girl, and she left our home in perfect condition. We had total peace of mind leaving our dog in Haley’s care, and I would highly recommend her!”

“Aston was great! He handled out three dogs and one cat for a 7 day vacation. He was very good with them and they were quite relaxed when we returned home. We will definitely use him again.”

“Thank you for communicating with me throughout your stay. I’m really glad to have feedback on how my dog is doing and what additional support I need to give him. I really look forward to you sitting with him again.”

“I used Adara for an overnight stay with my 2 pups. I came home to a clean house and happy pups! Good communication while I was away and lots of pictures. Will definitely use her again!”

About: Even before my family adopted our beloved cat, Tiger, and dog, Uschi, — who lived to be 17 and 18 years old respectively — I was my neighborhood’s go-to pet sitter starting at age 8. As an avid traveler, I have understand how stressful it is to leave your beloved furry family behind, especially when they have special needs. Whether leaving town for a well-earned vacation or tending to urgent family matters, it’s imperative to have peace of mind that your pet is in loving, caring hands. I provided solo care for my geriatric cat and dog in the final year of their lives and truly experienced the range of treatment requirements that often occur. Without the trusted help of family and friends, it would have been impossible to take necessary work trips during that time and I seek to provide the same care to whomever I can. While this stage of my life doesn’t allow me have another cat or dog, I hope that I can bring my skills to help your family when you need! I am in a transitory period between jobs (overseas) and am thus at the disposal of your pets’ requirements. Every animal requires different intervals of care and I can accommodate almost anything. I can do just about anything your pet needs: crating, administering meds, putting a diaper and suspenders on (as I did for my sweet dog)… you name it, I have either done it or can easily learn. It is important that their routine and care continues even in your absence!

“Shea was the perfect dog (and house) sitter. We came home to a relaxed senior dog and the house just as we had left it. Shea is professional and responsive. We will definitely be booking with Shea again!”

“Kay stayed with our three pups on very short notice. I’m so grateful we found him. Kay was great with communication, we came home to happy pups and a clean home. We highly recommend Kay.”

“This was our second time working with Rachael. she took great care of our dog for almost 2 full weeks while we were on our honeymoon. We came home to a happy healthy pup and a clean house. I would highly recommend !”

About: Hi there! My family owned dogs my entire life. My brother and I both cared for all of our childhood dogs/pets. My grandparents raised Fidelco dogs and as I would spend my summers with them, I was always exposed to these amazing little guys. As a teenager I would spend my summers home with our two family dogs. In my early college years, I dog sat for a couple of my mom's previous work friends, sometimes for a week at a time. As an adult, I raised my parent's dog from a puppy and currently own a dog of my own. I've also owned other pets such as cats, birds, and hedgehogs. I love to cuddle and play! I have lots of love to give! I'm the crazy lady you see talking to their dog while they walk them. So if you're dog is a good listener and loves cuddling, petting, and fetching, we'll be perfect mateys! I’m a children’s librarian and have a bit of a weird schedule. I work one night a week and one Saturday a month. I’m a single dog mom and have the flexibility to stay with your pet or possibly have your pet stay with me. They just have to be ok with a cranky old dachshund! I can walk your dog before work (8 am) or after work (5 pm) or any time on weekends. I’m very careful with peoples pets. The decisions I make for my own dog isn’t what I will make for someone else’s. Your pet is your precious baby and I will treat them as such. I follow the rules and guidelines set out by the owner and if I’m giving the green light to, your pet will be SPOILED. Car rides, couch snuggles, and outdoor adventures!

About: I’ve lived with and taken care of animals my whole life. I grew up in a house with 3 cats so I’m very used to a lot of love and also chaos. However I always loved dogs and have now been living with my pup for about 2 years. She is the sweetest and I love taking care of her. She receives medication every day as well as monthly treatments for flea and tick. I would love to meet and take care of your little friends too. I also have some experience taking care of chickens and small birds. I’m currently working part time with a pretty flexible schedule. This allows me to be able to watch pets every day of the week. I’m more than happy to try to figure something out so I can be available to stop in as often as need be. I take the safety and comfort of pets very seriously. I have a dog who is very reactive and anxious around other dogs. I have a lot of practice noticing when a dog feels uncomfortable or irritated. I also have a good amount of experience controlling an aggressive dog safely. But I’ve also handled and watched dogs that were cuddle bugs, I love nothing more than to relax all day with a fur baby on my chest.

About: I was inspired to become a pet sitter after my experience as a volunteer, fostering and carrying for dogs at a local dog rescue. It was a great experience and have always wanted to work with dogs more frequently. I have always had at least 2 dogs growing up, but this was the first time I saw the positive impact I could have on dogs that needed some extra help and love to thrive. From that point on, I’ve had a passion for caring for animals, and it is truly one of my favorite pastimes! If I could spend every waking moment in the presence of a dog, I would be the happiest man alive, and being a pet sitter brings me one step closer! I have had a good variety of experience with lots of different breeds and situations throughout my work with them. I started as a volunteer for a dog rescue agency, where I would foster dogs during the week and get them ready for the adoption events on the weekends. Many of the dogs I fostered were timid, anti-social, and even aggressive, and it was my job to socialize them with my dogs and family so they could be ready for their forever home! I have had experience with almost all dog breeds, including ones commonly referred to as aggressive (Pitbull, Dalmatian), and I have no problem caring for any dog of any breed. Lastly, this past summer I was a professional dog walker for a small agency in my hometown. I had 5-7 daily walks, in addition to overnight stays on the weekends. Although I will be the primary caregiver for your pup, I do live with some roommates. Currently, I am living with three other gentleman who are all students with me at Catholic University. All of them were raised with dogs in their families, and they are all absolutely dog lovers. They are very excited to have dogs around more often, as it is a big stress reliever to play and give love to a dog. Our house is always happy to bring new pups into the fold! While under my care, your dog will be treated as if they are my own. I will shower your dog with love and attention, and try to maintain the same routine they would have when they are with you. I know that dogs are creatures of habit, so we’ll make sure their time with us is as close to their time at home as possible. I can and will provide updates for you while you are away, and I am very flexible with any other requests if need be! Please let me know how I can spoil your pup and make them as happy as possible!

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 6 years old. I have pet sitting experience both with boarding and in home care. I've worked at a grooming place bathing, drying, and brushing cats and dogs. Pet care is my only job. My schedule is open. So I have full availability. I am also not attending college right now so there's no issues there. We have other friendly pets in the house to keep your fur babies company. We have a backyard for them to use the bathroom and play. My neighborhood is also good for dog walks.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs & cats since I was little but didn’t start watching animals until about 2 years ago! My mother has a fur baby name Teddy and I watch him a lot. I also have my own kitten name Tallulah, before getting her I did lots of research though. I work part time! When I’m done with working I walk my neighbors dog, then I stop by my mothers and watch/ play/ walk my moms dog! “Ayana was great! She took care of my boy and handles a couple challenges well. Very friendly person overall which made me so comfortable! Thanks Ayana!!”

Alexandra R.
“Alexandra grew up with dogs always in the home - anything from a Rottweiler to a Chihuahua. This also included being involved as part of a foster family to German Shepherd puppies that were going to be used as guide dogs for the blind. She took responsibility at a young age to take care of dogs (feeding, bathing, vet visits, etc.) and it has continued into her adult life with adopting her own dog from a shelter. She loves her dog and any other dogs she may meet in her daily life...she doesn't mind dog kisses either!!”

Aiden H.
“Aiden is one of the most animal-oriented people ive met. He has the ability to connect with pets and understand their needs like no one else. He’s watched my dogs for me in the past and I couldn’t speak more highly of him. There’s no one I would recommend to trust your pets with more than Aiden.”

Hannah D.

“Hannah was very responsive and easy to work with. Our puppy loved her and was very calm around her. She updated us regularly throughout her stay.”

Ryan S.

“Ryan has watched my dog Pepper for me many times. As a mini Australian Shepherd puppy, Pepper has been too energetic for some of the dog sitters we've used in the past. Ryan was great; he took pepper on frequent walk and kept me updated by sending photos of Pepper. Pepper loves spending time with Ryan, and that allows my family to fully relax whenever we go on vacation. I would never use a different dog sitter!”

Inam & Jennifer Q.

“Inam and Jennifer took excellent care of our dogs and were delightful to deal with. Thank you very much to both of them.”

Kayla T.
“I have know Kayla for 7 years she had always been a loving cat mother! She has alleyways been sweet and reliable. She is a great person to help you watch your pets when you are away!”

Jillian D.
“Jillian does a very good job at taking care of my animals, she makes sure they are eating at the right times and making sure to give them all the love they need. I always trust her to take care of my animals I wouldn’t ask anyone else to do it but her.”
Thompsonville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emma was amazing with Gracie. Emma took care of all Gracies medicine needs. She would send me a picture daily and let me know how she was doing. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was the very first time that a non-family member took care of Gracie, for me when I had to be away for seven days. I will definitely use Emma again, if I ever get into another tight spot where I don’t have anyone to look after and take care of Gracie I will definitely reach out to Emma. I am very thankful for Emmas kindness and understanding with my elderly girl.

Camryn was great and came over several times to let Louie get to know her. Very pleasant person and very calm around a yapping dog! She made us feel our pup was in good hands and she gave us updates We would happily have her stay with Louie again. We have privately compensated Camryn.
