About: I fostered kittens and cats until I was 6 years old, and I grew up around big dogs like mastiffs and pitties! I’ve grew up with cats my whole life and currently have one; I have owned a dog, leopard gecko, guinea pig, fish, and small insects. I have also pet sat a lovebird and bunny before! I currently only work during weekends and have a completely flexible weekday schedule as of now, I often go on daily long hikes/walks and am free throughout any part of the day and have plenty of time to hang out with and care for your pets! I have a large back yard in which your dogs are free in run in, though not fenced in, and a spacious house with one cat that has her own space if needed to be separated. I also go on hikes every week and try to go on them every day, so I’d love to take your pet on long walks or just chill at home with them!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for most of my life. Animals have always been a part of my family. I have been fostering a cat for a friend for a few months, and have taken care of a friends 3 massive dogs. Taken them on walks, fed them, and played with them. I am currently in school full-time online only and my children are in school from 7:30-4:30pm Monday through Friday. I am available to care for pets and go on walks. I have a yard and a decent sized apartment, one room that is not used at all. I also have a reliable vehicle for transportation.

About: I am a mature single woman. I had a purebred Pomeranian whom I’ve loved and cherished for the last 16 years. Mister Cooper passed away in December. I can’t bear to get another dog but miss his companionship terribly. Since I work remotely and only require a router and a modem, I thought I’d try loving other people’s pets while traveling at the same time. Cooper was diabetic, requiring insulin injections twice a day. He was also blind and deaf. Cooper and I took 3 nice long walks every single day, until the last couple of years. We would walk in blizzards, nothing stopped him, he LOVED it! I am prepared and comfortable caring for pets with any physical ailments. I will travel just about anywhere in the country or the world. I am a non-smoker. I would like to keep assignments between 1 week and 1 month so I can spend time with my family and friends in Massachusetts. About: I am in the middle of a career shift and have some additional free time on my hands and would love to turn my love of dogs into a little extra cheese... About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. I understand that taking care of your animals and home is a sacred thing, and I will remain transparent and available. I'm currently working for Amazon, Sunday through Wednesday, and have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday completely free for services. Additionally I can be available for any other days with proper notice, due to Amazon's flexibility with their scheduling. Our yard is fenced in, and our two rescue dogs enjoy their space very much playing and running around. Our 16 year old cat enjoys being an inside/outside cat very much, and has adapted to our precocious new additions. Our back door is opened frequently.

About: I have a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and four years of hands-on experience working in both a veterinary clinic and a dog kennel/daycare. I’m currently a first-year veterinary student at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, continuing to build my knowledge and skills in animal health and behavior. I’m comfortable administering medications, including injectable medications such as insulin, and have experience caring for dogs with behavioral challenges, including dog-aggressive dogs. My own dog has these challenges, so I understand the importance of patience, proper handling, and creating a safe environment for every pet. I also have experience caring for a variety of animals, as I have a dog and cat of my own. I’m passionate about providing pets with the same attentive, compassionate care I would want for my own. I’ll be starting my first year of veterinary school soon, so my exact class schedule is not set yet. I expect to have the most flexibility in the afternoons and evenings, and I’ll plan my pet care schedule around my classes. My veterinary school schedule may vary from day to day, but I’m committed to being reliable and communicating clearly about my availability. For overnight stays, I provide a calm, comfortable environment and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision. For drop-in visits and walks, I follow each pet’s individual routine and instructions, including feeding, medications, bathroom breaks, and exercise needs. With four years of veterinary clinic and dog daycare experience, along with my current veterinary education, I’m comfortable recognizing changes in behavior or health and handling a variety of personalities and needs. I also have experience with dogs who may be reactive or aggressive toward other dogs, so I take introductions, walks, and environmental safety seriously. My goal is for every pet to feel safe and cared for while their owner is away.
