I have run my own drop-in pet care service for pets of film workers for a year and I'm absolutely THRILLED to branch out and offer my services to pets in my immediate area on Rover! Pets of film workers need a little extra TLC because their moms and dads work such long hours (10-14 hours a day on average!), so the majority of my time has been spent honing my enrichment skills! About: Since I started providing pet care through Rover, I have gained experience caring for older dogs, puppies, dogs with special hearing needs, and dogs and cats with strict allergies or dietary restrictions. I have grown up taking care of my family's dogs and cats and am experienced with large, medium, and small dogs, old and young dogs and cats, and pets with a variety of backgrounds and stories. I've been dog-walking and pet-sitting for neighbors and family friends intermittently since I was 11. I have also helped friends pet-sit on Rover before and I love getting to know new dogs and cats because each pet is so unique. I work Monday-Thursday from 8am-4:30pm, which is why I list myself as fully available Thursday evenings-Sundays. I am passionate about spending time with and caring for animals, but my current home does not allow pets. Walking and being active outside is very important to my daily routine already and I'd love to help make walking and being outside part of your pet's routine as well! Andrea is the best. She is so caring and took wonderful care of my senior dog Gus. He has special needs and Andrea is very mindful of them. She is very organized and communicative. She provides pictures and updates. If you need a great Housesitter look no further!
Catherine was fantastic. My cat Alien loved the attention and daily brushing. Catherine also changed out litter box and vacuumed when it needed it. She also watered my plants. We were gone for almost 3 weeks and I never felt like I had to worry. She also sent photos and videos regularly which I really appreciated. Catherine was very good. I highly recommend her for your house sitting or pet sitting needs,
Our cat really seem to enjoy having someone stop in and visit with him while we were out of town with family. Julie was very respectful of our home, always made sure our house was locked/alarmed when she left after the visit and treated our fur baby really well. She's very nice, a good communicator and was accommodating, not that we asked for a lot. She also agreed to water my plants on one of the visits during the week that we were gone. We even got adorable pictures of our cat on our Rover cards during her visits. We had a really reassuring experience having her as our pet sitter. We highly recommend her and will absolutely be contacting her for our next trip out of town.
Highly recommend. Margaret was great with both my high energy pittie and my super skittish boxer mix. She kept me updated and sent lots of cute pictures. She even went above and beyond by noticing that it was trash day and taking the trash out for me. It’s always stressful leaving my dogs behind while I travel, but Margaret eased my concerns. I would definitely use her again!
Kelsey was amazing with our 3 pups while we were away for a few days! We opted for 2-3 daily check in visits which worked great for our dogs. Our three dogs are different ages and have slightly different care needs. Kelsey was able to accommodate them all and our dogs seemed happy and calm while we were away.
Jody is so lovely and sweet! They took the time to learn about Rudy and his quirks and separation anxiety, and then ask how they could help with the process. They took amazing notes and provided me with a lot of feed back. It’s always a pleasure to work with Jody and I’m glad to have someone who can help me when I need a doggy babysitter! Much appreciated!
I am beyond impressed with Patrick and calm demeanor. He did amazing with our pack and they took to him very quickly and we have a pack 4 pups and our chicken's We received notification from him getting to our home and at the end of the visit as well, received pictures of everyone. We all want an amazing sitter I believe we found that in Patrick. I will definitely be a repeat.
