“Samuel was fantastic!! We have never left our girls with anyone but family before, so Samuel came for a meet and greet before we booked and he put us at ease. Both dogs really liked him from the start. He stayed at our house for 3 nights and sent multiple pictures and updates every day! It really helped us to enjoy our vacation knowing the girls were in good hands!! Thanks Sam!! A+++++”

“Wonderful! Very attentive to my poodles. Helped to address a food issue when one of mine went on a hunger strike. Very respectful of my home. She stayed for 3 days and 2 nites. Great communication! Love her!!”

“Dora was absolutely wonderful. My dogs loved her and she took great care of them. Left our house as she found it - maybe cleaner!- and sent lots of videos and texts. Will definitely have her back!”

“Georgia was fantastic! She was available on short notice and took amazing care of our dog, Milo. Our dog is an anxious rescue, but she is a dog whisperer and immediately put our boy at ease and he was even wanting to sleep with her night one and showing his belly which he doesn’t do unless he’s 100% comfortable. I apologized for running low on his supplies and for him being a little stinky since his bath was delayed and she didn’t even hesitate to offer to go grab what he needed and even offered to bathe him. On top of taking great care of him, she took care of us anxious dog parents and communicated every step of the way and gave lots of updates and pictures. I couldn’t recommend her enough. Will definitely be using her in the future.”

“Matthew stayed at our place over the holiday weekend, and watched our 2 dogs. No issues whatsoever and he was great about sending us updates and pictures while we were away! Will definitely be booking Matthew again!”
“Wow, I can not believe the great job that she did and will definitely be using her services again. I was left a little in a predicament when another sitter backed out in me just 3 days before I was supposed to be gone for a week. Denise answered my last minute plea for help and we did a meet and greet with the animals. She did a great job taking care of them and I am sure they will miss her especially Coco, who she always took on walks. I highly recommend her.”

“William is awesome. He took great care of Brooklyn, was super responsive and communicative, and respectful of the house. Very professional. Also took amazing pics of Brooklyn and should consider a second career as a pet photographer”

“Lindsey was amazing! They took excellent care of my dog, kept me updated with pictures, and made sure my pup was happy and comfortable. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Emily was absolutely wonderful! As a first time user of Rover and the house sitting option, Emily was quick to respond and answer all of my questions about the service and how it worked. En route the day of, Emily let me know she was on her way and upon arrival she was great with the dogs and introducing herself to them. Emily did a great job of sending updates and pictures while we were away. She ensured the house stayed tidy and took out the trash. We knew the dogs were in great hands and I would not hesitate to book her again in the future! Highly recommend!”

“We went on vacation for several weeks during the 4th holiday with full peace of mind our older pets were in the BEST care with Cole! He was very good about updates and pics while he stayed in our home, and even helped give our Lab his monthly tick med to keep him on schedule. We trust Cole completely and absolutely would have him stay again and do any care in the future when we need it. Thank you Cole so very much!”
“Jessica took care of our three dogs while we were out of town, and we couldn't be more grateful. From the moment we met her, it was clear she truly loves animals and knows how to handle multiple dogs with care and confidence. Each of our pups has a different personality and set of needs, and Jessica gave them all the attention, exercise, and affection they needed. She kept us updated with messages and adorable photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. We came home to happy, relaxed dogs and a clean house. We highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and responsible dog sitter. We'll definitely be booking her again!”
About: Elvis, a 14lb shi-poo and his two new buddies, Tucker and Nanook, love having other puppy guests over since his big brother passed on. We are very active and enjoy going for long walks and finding new things to sniff. The house is open with plenty of space to lounge on. The house is tiled except for the guest bedrooms and pretty puppy proof with a close of a few bedroom doors and a blanket on the couch. The pups have full access to a fenced outdoor space where squirrel and bird activity can be found in the mornings. I have had dogs since I was 7 years old and I volunteered at shelter for many years. I grew up with animals of all kinds on a farm in Vermont and its just my way of life. Furry friends are the best! I will cherish yours as much as I cherish mine. Please note that I prefer only weekend stay-cations for your pup but can do mid week if we arrange with enough advance notice. I have a pretty flexible schedule and my husband works from home. The dogs will get plenty of belly rubs and love. Since, we have three of our own, we are very prepared for any doggie need I have a fenced in yard and we we generally keep the dogs corralled to wherever we are or in the non carpet areas. We are happy to crate, if you bring one. Dogs can go on furniture (up to 25lb)

“We were without cell service for the weekend while camping. Typically that would make me so nervous, but I had zero anxiety about how my two cats and dog were because Grace is a true animal lover and pet sitter. She got to know their personalities and was spot on about what each of them likes/needs - such a great feeling for a pet owner. Thank you, Grace!”

“Braydon took very good care of our dogs during our 2 weeks abroad, at our house. The dogs were happy when we got home which was comforting for us. Braydon was very responsible and sent many daily updates which we appreciated so much knowing the dogs one senior and one much younger were taken care of and healthy. We would definitely recommend and book again. Thank you Braydon and Rover.”

The Vineyard pet parents share their Rover experiences
Braydon is the first non-family member to ever stay with our (10yo) dogs. He was attentive, communicative, and took great care of them while we were on a long trip. We came home to two happy pups and it was great not having to worry about them while we were gone. Would definitely recommend!

Kadence was amazing! I was nervous due to the length and time difference of my trip, but Kadence was so great! My cats are happy and relaxed, my apartment tidy, and she was responsive to any messages I sent. I am very happy with the level of care she showed my pets and my place 😊

Emily was everything we hoped for. This was our first occasion using Rover or having a stranger in our house while we were on vacation. I was very pleased with Emily, her care for our home and our pets exceeded expectations. Her daily communication left us feeling confident that our little ones and our house were protected and cared for. We will definitely call her again. Thanks Emily.
