About: I have been taking care of pets for a long time. I have had my own pets since I was young and have been taking care of other peoples’ pets for around five years. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and fish. I will always treat your pets, homes, and your own wishes with the most respect. I have multiple roommates with their own pets and am unable to board your pets in my own home. About: I've been a dependable care provider for many dogs in the past few years and really love what I do! Dog boarding is one of my main services and your pooch will be very tended to between myself and my roommate! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! 90% of the time while I am at work, my (also experienced dogsitter) boyfriend is home. With enough advanced notice I can be sure your dog is not left alone at all if needed, though if not otherwise specified depending on my schedule they may be alone up to 3 hours at a time. I am great at reading animal behavior and making sure your pet is comfortable. I also make sure to adhere to your guidelines carefully when caring for your pet. I'm experienced with animals who have separation anxiety and issues eating when in a new environment so you can rest assured they are as comfortable as possible!

About: I own a 7 acre property that is a short drive up Fickle Hill Rd in Arcata! It includes a private trail with access to the community forest and a very large fenced in yard. I have a 1 year old female German Shepherd (Sabine) who is very well trained and LOVES to play with other dogs. I’ve been working with animals my entire life but started officially dog sitting and walking about 10 years ago! I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities and feel comfortable and confident in my care abilities. Locally I have done in home care both long term and short term. Now that I have this large property I would like to do more of a doggy day care! I am capable of providing training, grooming, as well as daily exercise and enrichment activities! I am free Monday - Thursday every week as I work from home as a ceramic artist. On the weekends (Friday - Sunday) I work as a waitress. I offer care from my home where I have a very large fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around and enjoy the outdoors. As well as a large dog friendly home for those rainy days. All plants and trees on the property are dog safe! I also have a private trail that is connected to the community forest trails where I take Sabine (my dog) for daily walks. Sabine also loves the beach so we do take weekly trips out to the dunes in Samoa! I’m a dog lover and feel that I am very attuned to understanding the way they communicate.
