About: Hi, I'm Damara! I have grown up with dogs my entire life. We recently said goodbye to our senior Boston Terrier in January of this year. We have owned multiple Boston Terriers for the past 20 years. I also recently fostered a Goberian (half Golden Retriever/half Husky) for 4 months so am comfortable with large dogs as well as small. I work a hybrid schedule that I manage myself so can be home most of the time with your pet. If I do need to be in the office I am only gone for 4-5 hours at a time. I have a fenced in courtyard that's great for quick potty breaks and lounging in the sun. But I also really enjoy long walks so can accomodate whatever your pets prefer. Happy to discuss everything and will do whatever is best for your pet. We also own a Syrian Hamster named Cookie Dough that is completely secure in her enclosure. Your pet would have to be ok with children (extra play time for your pet) because I have a 9 year old daughter who is here most of the time. I will be the person providing care to your pet 100% of the time. At no time will my child be responsible for or left alone with your pet. Any additional questions, please ask. We are not yet ready for our own full time dog and we miss having one around so I figured we would give Rover a try. Look forward to meeting you and your pet. I have a fenced in brick courtyard that is great for quick potty breaks or basking in the sun. Also comfortable walking your pet long distances if they need a lot of exercise.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. Since I was 16, I've cared for multiple dogs for family and friends, gaining experience with pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I also volunteer with local shelters, including the SPCA and Humane Animal Rescue, where I've worked with a variety of animals and developed strong pet-care skills. I am patient, dependable, and committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care! I'm currently working full-time, but I would love to spend my evenings taking care of your sweet pups and getting in a nice walk! I am available for boarding on weekends and walks on weekdays after 4 pm. I do not have any pets in my home, which allows me to focus fully on your pet's needs. I live in an apartment with stairs and access to an outdoor yard, and there are plenty of safe, walkable areas nearby for exercise. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, so they feel comfortable while you're away!
