“Charles has been fantastic when it comes to walking my dog Murphy. He has been flexible with scheduling and makes sure to go above and beyond when it comes to caring for Murph, like making sure to dry him off before leaving when it had been raining out while they were walking. I highly recommend Charles!”

About: Relax! Let me give you a hand. I've been caring for animals for most of my life and am happy to help keep your pets comfortable in their own home while you're away. I'm experienced with cats and dogs of all ages, including seniors and pets who need oral medications. I'm also very comfortable with the less glamorous parts of pet care — litter boxes, accidents, muddy paws and all! I know leaving your pets can be stressful, so I'll send regular photos and updates and follow their usual routine as closely as possible. I'm happy to provide plenty of attention and playtime — or give your shy cat the respectful personal space they insist upon. A few things to know when booking with me: • House sitting: My standard house-sitting stay includes overnight care, generally from about 9 PM–9 AM, plus two daytime visits. This means your pets get plenty of company, but I am not in the home continuously throughout the day. If your pet needs more frequent or constant care, please let me know before booking so we can see if I'm a good fit. • Drop-ins: Standard visits are approximately 30 minutes and include feeding, fresh water, potty/litter care, medication if needed, and some attention or playtime. • Meet & greets: I prefer to meet new dogs before the first booking and am always happy to meet cats, too! We'll go over routines, feeding, medications, quirks and anything else I should know. • While you're away: Please let me know about any cameras in the home and whether anyone else will be entering the house during my stay. I don't bring guests into clients' homes. • Most importantly: Tell me what makes your pet your pet! The weird little routines, favorite toys, preferred sleeping spots, mortal enemies, and exact location where they expect their butt scratches are all useful information. I am lucky enough to work remotely and have lots of opportunity to get away during the day and care for your pets during the workday or in the evenings. I provide care in your pet’s own home, where they can stay comfortable with their normal routines and familiar surroundings. I’m respectful of both your pets and your home, and I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, litter boxes, potty breaks, and household routines. For house sitting, my standard schedule is generally overnight from about 9 PM–9 AM, with two additional visits during the day. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s particular routine at our meet & greet. I’ll also send regular photos and updates so you know how things are going while you’re away. Please let me know in advance about indoor cameras, anyone else who may be entering the home, and any behavioral or safety concerns I should know about.

About: I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra care. ⭐ Puppy training (basic obedience, focus work, and tricks) ⭐ Senior and palliative care experience ⭐ Fostered rescue dogs through local humane societies ⭐ Experience helping to run a boarding facility ⭐ Farm-raised with lifelong horse and animal experience ⭐ Comfortable with medications and special routines ⭐ Loving, family-oriented environment with plenty of attention and cuddles My love for animals started on the farm and through 4-H, where I learned responsible animal care from an early age. My parents operated a quality Dachshund breeding program, giving me experience with puppy development and socialization. I've spent years pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, and I've had horses my entire life. One of my greatest privileges was caring for our beloved Labrador through her golden years, providing palliative care until she peacefully passed at 13. I understand that every pet has unique needs and deserve patience, love, and individualized care. When your pet stays with us, they won't just be watched—they'll be loved, spoiled, and welcomed as part of the family. I am a stay at home mom who loves being active. As a family we spend lots of time outside playing and enjoying what our 40 acre home has to offer. We go on two walks a day- weather permiting. Inside pets are family members who live in the house WITH us. Couch time is always available with additional beds on all different rooms if the pup prefers their own space. We have all verious types of toys including puzzle games, snuffle mats and for the heavu chewers, kongs, antlers, and bully sticks. We live away from the hectic lifestyle that most have and love it that way. I do occasionally take on a couple of families pets at the same time but do keep the pets seperated for safety purposes. If you feel youre dogs would be happier being the only visitors, let me know and we can almost always figure something out. I have a large area for dogs to run and play by themselves if they prefer or can spend time with our two friendly dogs who love to play even more.I offer crates if needed. But typically allow them run of the house and let them sleep where they are comfortable. Pets are more than welcome make themselves comfortable on the furniture or bed. Medications or speciality diets are no issue. Im always willing to discuss accommodations. Message me and we will see what will work to best make your pets the most comfortable.

About: I am a big time dog lover! I work from home and am able to be here with the pets all day and take them out at least every 2 hours or as needed. I have a big house with a decent sized yard (NOT fenced). I'd love a few more companions hanging out with me and my dog, Lola! There aren't a lot of pet sitting options in this area so here I am making it an option :) Please come check me out! I work from home so i am here all day with the pets and able to tend to them as needed. i get an hour break for lunch and thats usually when i take my dog out to play/walk. I am available for day time pet sitting during the week. If needed me on a weekend we can most likely work something out-case by case basis-but it wasn't something i wanted to promote on my profile.

About: I've had dogs, big and small, my whole life! I'm currently always on the trails with my girls, a senior cattle dog and a puppy dachshund mix. I'm ready for any adventure, big or small! I'm currently available Thursday - Sunday to check in on your pets or take them out for little adventures while you are off on your own! We have a small home but lots of room for roaming. We do use leashes when out on trails so dogs must be comfortable with leashes.

“Melissa was great! She walked our two 70lb pit bulls Skye and Blue 4 days in a row. She was great communicating the times she was going to walk them and showing up on time. She sent pictures each walk with the map and distance of the walks. We would definitely hire Melissa again to walk Skye and Blue. Highly recommended!, Thank you Melissa!”

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Temple. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
