About: I've always loved animals, and several dogs have "owned" me over the years. I lost my bestest girl about 2 years ago and I still mourn her. Now that I'm retiring, I can't think of a better way to spend my time than helping care for your furry family members. I have experience with senior dogs, as well as giving meds. I've watched pets for friends and family for years. I'm currently retired and only working for a few hours on Tuesdays - and am home by 1:00 on Tuesdays, so I'm able to give long walks and snuggles. I'm able to stay in your home any day of the week. I live alone so your pet/s will have all my attention. I live in an apartment and will walk your pup several times a day with at least one long (@2 miles) walk if weather and their health allows. I allow pets on the furniture and on the bed if they are used to that. I'm happy to send update pics during the day. I admit that I have lots for my favorite pet friends, but I don't often do selfies, so the pics on here show pets that I've cared for doing activities, but don't include me.

About: I can’t have my own dog right now, so I’d love to hang out with yours! I grew up with dogs (puppies to old dogs) and I have watched friends’, neighbors’, and family members’ dogs for them. I am responsible and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I work on campus ~9-5 pm (M-F), but my schedule is somewhat flexible if hours need to be adjusted for the pet. I am available all day on weekends and most weeknights. I am a responsible PhD student and will do my best to take care of both your pet and your home and follow any specific guidelines from you. I will take your dog on a run in the morning if you’d like, and I’d love to play with your dog/cat. :) I’m also happy to transport your pet in my car.

About: I am a Registered Veterinary Technician and work in a vet clinic. I have experience with giving oral and injectable medications. I can work with senior and special needs dogs and have animal CPR and first aid training. I would love to help out with your baby. I work full time but have availability early in the morning and after 3:30pm. I am free all day on Mondays and I rotate weekend work schedule but still have available time every weekend. I have a fenced in back yard and a dog and three cats. There are separate housing rooms available in the home and lots of toys!

About: I am a musician and writer with a life-long affinity towards dogs. My wife and I recently had two small/medium dogs that we cherished as members of our family. Since their passing, I am enjoying the time I can spend with your pets! I work from home when not traveling as a touring bluegrass musician, which brings me around the world. While I am home in Chapel Hill I have full flexibility to attend your pets needs. I enjoy walking the miles of forest trails behind our home and love to bring dogs along. I prefer walking each separately so they can follow their natural stride. Our previous dogs required daily medications, so I am experienced with administering that and other special needs. I look forward to meeting you and your pets. I love hitting the forest trail outside my backdoor for my own excercise. I can be flexible to your pet’s needs and fit their normal routine. In our home or yours, I give animals respect without letting them run the show. Exercise and play time is an important part of our day so all can be relaxed and happy.

About: I’ve had and loved animals since I was a kid! For several years now I’ve been able to assist close friends and some family with making sure their babies are cared for while they are away. My schedule fluctuates from week to week— but I do work from home, and I am available most weekends. There are other dogs present in the home that are super excited and playful with other animals as well! Large, fenced in yard for pets to roam. Neighborhood setting for walks. I also have an addition/enclosed room off of the back porch for our pups to have their own space (heating and air). Pets are allowed inside the home as well!

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats. I have 3 dogs and 5 cats. I’m very experienced with both. I use to watch my aunts dogs for her while she was at work. She has 2 dogs and I’d sometimes watch her cats which at the time she had 4. I’m always dealing with cats and dogs. I care for them everyday no matter what. I love animals and I can take care of them. I can feed them, take them for walks, play with them. Do all of the things cats or dogs need. I do these things on a daily basis.

About: Hi! My name is Diane and I love all animals .I have worked in the pet industry full time in the last 10 years in kennels , grooming boarding, daycare and training facilities . I have also been pet sitting over 25 years ,friends and family have entrusted their precious pets in my care because they trusted my abilities and knew that I would treat their pets as I would my own. Spending my days with animals is the ultimate job. Kinda hard to even call it a “job.” Who can resist waggs and purrs, wet kisses and lap naps? Certainly not me. Pet sitting and dog walking is my profession, my livelihood and my business. I look forward to caring for your pets and keeping you updated as to how they are doing in my care. I'm a full time pet sitter so I'm available most days for house sitting , drop in visits and dog walks during the week and on weekdays. I do my best to stick to your pets schedule . I will always communicate any issues beforehand or as soon as they come up . I will always treat the animals and the properties with respect and try to leave the homes looking the way they were when I got there !

About: I’ve always loved animals, and now I get to work with them all the time at the Orange County Animal Shelter. I am president of Animal Welfare Club at my school and had a zen dog puppy preschool in 2nd grade😁. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs, puppies full of energy, older dogs who need a little extra help, and shy pups who just need patience and love. I’m used to giving meds, helping with basic training, and making sure every dog feels safe and happy. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I’ll make sure your dog gets all the care, love, and attention they need while you’re away. Right now I’m on summer break from high school, so I have a pretty flexible schedule! I work early mornings and finish by 10 AM, and I have another job only on Saturdays. That means I’m available for pet care on weekends and weekdays, depending on the time. I always make sure I have enough time to give each pet the care and attention they need. In my home, I have a fenced-in yard and one dog of my own, but she can be picky around other dogs. I also live with my family and we foster animals, so I’m not able to care for other dogs in my home right now. However, I’m happy to care for pets in their own home where they’re most comfortable. I always follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet gets lots of attention, playtime, and love while you’re away.
