About: I do work full-time, but am home in the evenings. I LOVE animals, but do not feel that I have the time needed to be a 'full time' caregiver. This is perfect for my lifestyle! I would treat your pet like a part of my family. I've always had dogs growing up and love having them as companions. I would walk your pet in the mornings and evenings. About: I live in Scottdale but I’m very familiar with ALL surrounding areas. I’m a homemaker, so I’m available practically any time to come offer care to your furry (or not so furry!) loved ones! Currently we have 2 dogs, a purebred 32lb female Siberian Husky & a Designer Breed 15lb female Pomsky. They are both crate trained & house trained. Both are fully registered ESA (Emotional Support Animals) & I take that very seriously as to their training & how exactly I want them to behave. I recently lost my female German Shepherd; & a year prior my male Siberian Husky. My male Siberian was epileptic so I’m experienced in offering meds and know that having them on hand & on time IS A MUST for things of this nature! My shepherd was very elderly (about 14) & required a lot of extra love, care & attention also. So I am also compassionate about animals that need some extra loving. *I offer very basic kitty care. I cannot host cats in my home due to the prey drive of my husky, sometimes she’s ok with them, other times not. *I’ll do feedings for lizards as I have had a few bearded dragons myself as well so I’m knowledgeable here also. (But under no circumstances ask me to care for your snake, or your spider!) ***I offer potty breaks, walks, playtime, feed & water breaks, treat time, medication administration ALL in my standard fee. Anything else, just ask! I’m very flexible & willing to work out most things if we can come to an agreement suitable for both sides. About: Since I was a child, people would bring strays or unbalanced animals to our house who would suddenly be calm and comfortable in my care. I spent a lot of time in nature and wild animals would often follow me home. I now have my Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and wrote an original thesis on clicker training for service dogs. I am on the Board and a trainer for Hero Puppies for Life where we train service dogs for heroes with PTSD. We use positive reinforcement and are focused around relational bond training. This sets the dogs up for success to support their humans. We also teach their humans how to understand their dog's instincts and communication. About: I've had multiple dogs and cats my whole life and they have all been my best friends! We like to cuddle, go on walks and learn new skills.
