About: I've worked my entire 30+ year career taking care of people and their animals. I've five years in private in-home care for seniors, eight years in childcare, and over 10 years caring for the pets of my friends, family, and relations thereof. Cats, dogs, hamsters, birds, and even a pair of ferrets! I'm pretty good at connecting and animals tend to read that. I'm all about healthy treats, balanced food options, great nutrition, and appropriate exercise; and as a former chef and caregiver, I love cooking for pets too! While I don't currently have any pets of my own, I'm also happy to just chill out with your pet for anxiety reducing calm and comfort. Need someone to be attentive and sensitive to your pet's needs? I'm your Girl! I'm currently working remotely, part-time Tuesday through Thursday. My work is pretty flexible and I can take it with me wherever I go, though I do require notice so I can prepare and make adjustments if needed. I'm open to negotiating outside of calendar hours listed. Just reach out and ask! If I'm unable to make it work, I'll let you know. I'm a fun-loving soul that, simply, adores animals! I'm happy to care for your pup or meowser at your East Bay home. I can stay or stop by to play, spend quality time, or just water, feed, and walk your furry friend if that's what you need. While I haven't any formal medical training for pets, I'm detail oriented and good with instructions. I'm here to help out, so if you have any questions about special needs, just ask.

About: About Me I'm a devoted dog lover who specializes in caring for reactive and anxious dogs - the ones that are often misunderstood. Working from home gives me the flexibility to provide the consistent, patient care these special dogs need. My own journey started with my 6.5-year-old lab-pit mix who taught me everything about reactivity, high prey drive, and anxiety. Though she doesn't live with me full-time (which I miss terribly!), she's shown me incredible progress over the years - she's much calmer now, can get along with other dogs with proper introductions, and mostly just wants to nap and be loved. My partner's 6-year-old standard poodle is a certified service dog who's wonderful with dogs of all temperaments and serves as a calming presence. Why I Do This Having lived with a reactive dog, I know the frustration of finding someone who truly understands your dog's needs without judgment. I want to be that person for other dog families - someone who sees past the "difficult" label to the loving dog underneath. My Approach: • I always carry high-value treats during walks to redirect and reward good behavior • I'm experienced with reactivity management and reading dog's body language • I believe in structured socialization: supervised co-existence rather than forced play, with short play sessions (15-30 minutes) followed by decompression time • I avoid dog parks to prevent overwhelming situations and maintain control • I'm comfortable with senior care and daily medication routines My Setup I prefer starting with walks to learn your dog's personality, triggers, and preferences. I take one dog at a time for boarding to ensure your pet gets my complete attention and isn't overwhelmed. My partner's gentle service dog provides a calming role model when appropriate. I plan my schedule weeks in advance, so early booking is appreciated for the best care. Working from home gives me the flexibility to be present throughout the day, which is perfect for providing consistent care and attention. I love having pets around while I work - they actually make my day more enjoyable! I do play sports some evenings, but I always plan my schedule around any pets I'm caring for. If I'm boarding a dog or have a pet sitting commitment, I make sure my evening activities don't interfere, or I'll arrange my sports schedule well in advance so there's no conflict. Your pet's routine and needs always come first. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family. My backyard is completely fenced, so dogs can play safely while I keep a close eye on them - I'm always right there with them, not just watching from a window. I love that my neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, and we're lucky to be just a short walk from the beautiful Bay Trail, which is perfect for dogs who love longer walks or new scenery. Your pet's safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I make sure they're never left unsupervised.

About: Hi! I’m Yvonne, a lifelong animal lover with several years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. Whether it's a quick potty walk or a longer adventure around the neighborhood, I love helping dogs stay happy, healthy, and active. For cats, I provide calm, respectful care – clean litter, fresh water, food, playtime, and plenty of gentle attention (when they want it!). I'm reliable, communicative, and experienced with all types of pet temperaments. Whether you're at work or away on a trip, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I'm currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets with love and attention. I'm available for dog walking and drop-in visits on both weekdays and weekends between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Whether it's a mid-morning walk or an early afternoon visit, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for. My flexible schedule also allows me to accommodate recurring bookings and short-notice requests whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. For dog walks, I always use secure, well-fitted leashes and harnesses, and I avoid busy or unsafe areas. I never walk multiple dogs from different households at the same time, so your dog gets my full attention and care. For drop-in visits, I follow your instructions closely — whether it's feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, or giving meds. I respect your home and your pet’s routine, and I always double-check that doors, gates, and windows are secure before I leave. You can count on me to keep you updated with messages and photos, so you always know your pet is happy and in safe hands.

About: Hi! I’m Daiane 😊 I grew up with pets and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. Taking care of dogs is something that truly brings me joy, and over the past 5 years, I’ve gained experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I understand that caring for a pet is more than just feeding and walking them—it’s about giving them love, attention, and a safe, happy environment. That’s exactly what I offer! I’m available full-time during the week and weekends, and I’ll have plenty of time to play, cuddle, and keep your pup company. I live in a spacious apartment with a dog-friendly condo area, and I have two sweet dogs who love meeting new friends. Whether your dog needs exercise, company, or just a relaxing place to stay, I’ll make sure they feel right at home 🐶💕 I will have plenty of time to play with your puppies, I am available full time during the week and weekends. I am always available to help. I have a large, free space in my apartment where I will take care of your puppies. The condominium has a space reserved for dogs. I have 2 dogs that love having visitors at home.

About: I have two wonderful dogs in my family Andy and Louis. They are everything to me. They are ready to welcome and make some new friends and would love to share their space with other fur babies. I am working part time from home taking care of my toddler and a fur baby named Andy. I am home all day and love taking my boy and Andy on a short walk around the neighborhood. We have quiet and friendly neighbors which is a plus. We have a fenced back yard ~800sq ft with some turfed space for the dogs to play. Like I mentioned I have another playful dog who will give a good company for your dogs as well.

About: Hello pet parent! Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. My name is Kelsey and I have been fond of animals my entire life, and believe pets should be treated like beloved family members. My care approach for all pets is with a fun-loving and gentle disposition. I take feeding schedules, potty breaks and medication routines very seriously and structure our time together around those milestones. I let your pet set the pace for walks and playtime and can easily match their energy level. I am available to care for your pets Friday through Monday. Thank you for trusting me with your fur baby and I look forward to spending time with them! I will treat both your pet and your home with the utmost care and respect. I am happy to clean up any spills or messes I notice when checking on your pet and will ensure they have access to clean water and food when necessary.

“Margarita was wonderful! I booked her for drop in visits for my dog, Rocky while I was away. She was very communicative and reliable and even cleaned up after Rocky got sick in my home. Thank you Margarita!”

About: I live in El Sobrante (East Bay) and only do IN HOME CARE for dogs and sometimes cats. I've found there is less stress if they stay in their own familiar surroundings with your smells; especially if they are blind or deaf or have elderly med needs.. I also give medications and understand senior dog needs. My small Chihuahua SOPHIE comes with me and gets along with everyone. I am semi-retired and will attend to all your instructions, sleep with your baby if that is what is required. I specialize in small dogs but will consider anything, especially if you are in a bind and need someone ASAP. Call me and let's discuss your needs! Thank you. I'm semi-retired and usually available. I am happy to take your dog to dog parks. Sophie and I go on long walks everyday, sometimes twice. We are active. We will follow your schedule. I've great references for in-home care which is all I do now. I also keep the house clean and will do laundry or other needs while I am there. Long or short stays, just let me know what you need. I've background checks that are stellar, never any incident. I am a professional.

“Desiree is very patient with my skittish dog Evie. She did a great job with her.”

About: I have a lifetime of experience working with dogs of all breeds and life stages. I've had dog family members all my life. When I was 18 I began dog sitting. For five years I managed two dog daycare and boarding facilities in San Francisco. There, I took care of every breed you could think from 8 wks-17 yrs old. I played with them, took them for walks, fed them, administered medication, and interfaced with the clients. I am very familiar with dog psychology, training, and health. I treat all furry babies as I've treated my own; with empathy, love, and patience. I love nature and have a car, so I would be happy to take your dog child on an outdoor adventure, on or off leash depending on what they are used to and what you are comfortable with. I'm currently working part-time with flexible availability during the week and some weekends. I would be happy to take your dog on a nature or neighborhood walk during the day while you're at work so you come home to a happy pup! I always abide by leash laws and get to know the dog and their personality so I can create a safe, fun environment for them on walks. I will also ask you if they have any special needs to be aware of.

About: Growing up I was always fond of dogs and would always want to take care of them and be around them. I was taking care of big and small dogs with no problem. I have a mini pinscher/chihuahua mix dog that is my literal son. I will eventually start school on August 25 but, as of right now I am available at any time during the day, noon, and night. Their safety and comfort is my number one priority. I am responsible for their well being so I make sure they are fed and got their exercise for the day.

About: Growing up with dogs (Pit Bulls, Miniature Dachsund, a Boxer, & more), I remain a dog loving person as an adult! I’ve been a Rover sitter since 2021 and have served as a foster home for senior dogs through Muttville (looking after a Mini Doberman Pinscher and a Shiba Inu - Basenji mix). You can also find me on Wag. My husband and I both work remotely so someone is pretty much always home. I work remotely on East Coast hours, which means that if I'm pet sitting or boarding for you between the hours of 6 AM-2 PM, I will be on my laptop most of that time (and taking frequent play and walk breaks with your furry friend)! In my home, dogs are allowed on our furniture with exception to our bed. I have big floofy cushions that I leave throughout the house so dogs have lots of napping options. I let dogs sleep wherever they like (with exception to our bed) – for some dogs this has meant on top of a pile of blankets on a seat in our living room, for others this means on a floor cushion or bed directly next to our human bed. I am very accustomed to picky eaters (and even picky drinkers!), and am used to boiling chicken or salmon with some rice for the especially picky ones. I am experienced in administering oral medications to dogs, including through syringes. I will follow whatever rules you set for your home!

We are so grateful for the wonderful care our two cats received! They warmed up to her so quickly, which says a lot about how kind and attentive she was. It’s clear she spent real quality time with them — they seemed happy and comfortable when we got home. She sent us not only photos, but videos of the cats puzzling out their treats and being played with. The room was also left tidy and clean, which we really appreciated.
