About: Hello! I am a foster mom and an active pet rescue volunteer, ready to care for your pet. Snuggles, playtime, and photos are guaranteed! I truly enjoy the rewarding experience of caring for pets, and I look forward to providing your furry family member with extra special care and attention. Trust me, when I say your pet is special to me. My schedule is flexible, so I am available to drop in for a visit in the morning, before work, after work, and/or again in the evening. As a lifelong pet owner and foster mom, I am dedicated to giving every animal the special love and care they deserve, especially when their families are away. It's completely normal for your pet to feel restless during the first couple of days and evenings. This behavior can vary based on each pet's background, and I understand that it is to be expected. I will do my best to give your pet the time they need to adjust to me at their own pace, while providing plenty of love, comfort, and patience.

“We love Hannah! She is reliable, consistent, and prioritizes availability. She is also an excellent communicator, and our dog, Bella, loves her!! We are SO grateful for Hannah and know Bella will be well taken care of with her!”

“Jennifer did a great job with Ringo & Rossi ! Thank you so much for the care you gave our Senior dogs ! We will definitely be re- booking with her ! ?”

“We can't say enough wonderful things about Bree! She took care of our two cats, Coco and Buddy, with so much love and attention—it truly felt like she was treating them as her own. From the moment we met her, we knew our fur babies were in great hands. Bree went above and beyond in every way. She didn’t just make sure they were fed and comfortable— but kept them happy, and even managed to groom Coco better than we ever have (and that’s saying something!). Coco looked like she stepped out of a cat salon when we got home! We came home to two very content, well-loved cats—and a clean, organized space, which was such a bonus. If you're looking for a trustworthy, kind, and truly exceptional pet sitter, Bree is it. We feel so lucky to have found her.”

“Highly recommend! Upon reading the report card from Tonie, a comment was made from another dog owner, "Wow, you got a good rover." I was so nervous leaving my dogs, especially my ailing senior. When my normal dogsitter cancelled last minute, I was very hesitant having a stranger watch my dogs. Tonie did a great job. I actually prefer her over my other sitters.”

About: At Williamson Animal Care and Control I volunteered walking dogs. I also received significant training in dog behavior and dog walking. After retiring from my career, I started my pet sitting and dog walking career. I took care of a rescued Great Pyrenees multiple times during the week and frequently overnight trips for over two years. I recently moved back to the Fort Wayne area from Franklin, TN. Three of my previous dog clients have shown interest in having me come back to stay with their dogs when they’re out of town for more than a couple days. Pet sitting and dog walking are my primary responsibilities along with taking care of my two cats. I have a very flexible and available schedule. I take pride and making sure that the client’s home is as good if not better when I entered. I will walk the dog, feed or treat, make sure the water bowl is full and also if appropriate snuggles.

About: I, Carter and my mother Mindy, have been pet owners our entire lives. We have experience with young, adult, and senior dogs. Along with experience in administering certain types of medications, and our house is blind dog friendly thanks to indoor gates and a fenced in and safe backyard. We’ve recently lost our last dog and don’t plan to get another animal companion, but we love to help people care for their furry companions temporarily as a way to give back to the same people who did such for us when we were pet owners. Mindy works from home and loves to work outside in her garden, which would mean a lot of outside time for your pet in our fenced in backyard. Carter is around more in the mornings and nights meaning if your animal is a “night owl” they shall still be cared for round the clock. We have a designated area for food and water in our house, along with many toys and bones from throughout the years. We are in a very safe neighborhood with a fenced in backyard and lots of room to run. Any animals living with us will always be treated with kindness and a sense of belonging no matter the duration of their stay!

About: I have always grown up with animals! I have had dogs, cats, birds, turtles, lizards, rabbits, chinchillas, fish, and most likely more that I just cant remember! I love animals. I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. My one dog was adopted was from ASPCA as a 3 legged dog. This does not slow her down! She loves playing and running. My other dog was adopted from an Amish family as a puppy. She loves to play as well. Both dogs enjoy chasing after my children, playing catch, tug a war, cuddling, going for walks and lots of belly rubs. I also have a cat that loves to cuddle and be loved on. He loves chasing after toys that move and relaxing in his cat tower. I used to own at dog that sadly passed away 2 years that I owned since she was a puppy. Unfortunately she got external cancer on her leg. I had to give her medicine several times a day, wash her wound twice a day, and prepare homemade meals for her. I currently work part time for a school from 9am-230pm so I will have plenty of time before and after that and on weekends to care for your pets. I love taking pets on walks, to the dog park, or just cuddling on the couch. I can drop in to your house as much as needed.

About: We are new to Rover, and ready to meet your furry family member! I’ve spent my life around dogs and had the privilege of raising my own from puppyhood to his senior years — 14 amazing years together. While I’m not looking to bring a new dog into my home full-time right now, I still genuinely enjoy being around them. I tailor care to each dog’s needs and personality. Whether your pup is full of energy or prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to match their rhythm — from active walks to quiet downtime. My husband and I work full-time, and we work together to care for your dog during early afternoons through the evenings on weekdays, as well as full days on weekends. We team up to provide consistent, loving attention for your dog. Safety and trust mean a lot to us. Our girls have grown up around dogs and always show so much love and care — they’ll stop every dog we see just to say hi, give hugs, and plenty of belly rubs. We have a fenced yard where dogs can safely play, and no other dogs in our home, so your pup will have plenty of space and attention. We always follow the owner’s instructions to keep up with their usual routine — activity, meals, naps, and all — to make sure your dog feels comfortable and at home. We know dogs need both chill time and playtime, so we make sure there’s plenty of space to relax and feel comfortable, plus lots of chances to get active and use their energy. As a family, we work together to give your dog the best care possible, treating them like one of our own.

Rita W.
“I'm more than happy to recommend Rita Wheeler as a pet sitter. She has been the best cat sitter I've ever had. She's reliable and communicative, and she fully follows care instructions. She's loving to the animals, and she goes above and beyond during her time with them. It put me at ease to know I could trust her to take thoughtful care of my fur babies! The last cat sitter I had wasn't this great, but I didn't suspect she was having a negative effect on my cats until Rita took over. With the last sitter, when I came home from a trip, they would be hiding. After Rita became my cat sitter, they greeted me at the door. This made me realize they felt safer when she came over than the last person. I'm grateful to Rita!”

Natalie L.

But Carter and Mindy were absolutely wonderful, kind, gentle, attentive and incredibly patient. They really took the time to make her feel comfortable and by the end of the stay she loved having them around. It was such a relief knowing she was in such caring hands. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate pet sitters!”

“I can’t say enough good things about the amazing job she did babysitting my dog, Diggs! From the moment she arrived, Diggs felt comfortable and happy in her care. She was attentive, responsible, and went above and beyond to make sure he was well-exercised, fed, and loved. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. When I came home, Diggs was relaxed and clearly had a wonderful time. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter—she’s truly the best!”

Ellie W.
“Ellie is such an animal lover, our dogs and cat get soooo excited when she comes over! I always know they are in good hands when Ellie is caring for them, whether it’s a drop in visit, dog-sitting while we are away, or taking them on a walk. She is dependable and responds quickly to my messages. I will definitely continue to use her for our pet-sitting needs!”

Emily N.
Star Sitter

“I will happily be going back to Emily again to watch my dog! I ended up needing someone to watch my German Shepherd puppy for 3 weeks while I made an emergency trip to Indy to help care for my sick mother. I was very worried leaving my new puppy with a stranger but she was highly recommended by a friend. Emily was great on taking care of Bear like he was apart of her family. He was also only 9 weeks old and not potty trained at the time I dropped him off with her but she managed to have him trained within two weeks to ring a bell and let us know when he needed to go out!! I was very impressed, I also loved the daily updates of pictures and even allowing me to video chat with Bear. I felt very happy with my decision to leave him in her care and could not thank her enough!”

Lindsay B.
“Lindsay is an amazing pet caregiver! She’s responsible, loving, and attentive. Always ensuring pets are happy, safe, and well cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend her! There’s no one else I’d go to for my pets.”

“Shari was a lifesaver!! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, even caring for our kitty too! Definitely gave us peace of mind during our trip!”
