“Jada is the only person I trust to watch my pup. I was very nervous to leave him home as a 13 week old puppy; but I felt so much better knowing that Jada was taking care of him. She was very responsive to all of my requests and communicated with me throughout their walk. I could not recommend more!”

“Very communicative! My dog was extremely happy and calm when I got home. Trust worthy and very thorough when reporting about how he did since he is older with health issues. Will definitely invite her back.”

“Karen did a wonderful job walking our dogs. We have one very high energy dog that can be difficult to walk until he releases energy and she handled him with such ease! Both of my dogs came back from each walk completely exhausted, it was perfect and exactly what we wanted! Karen was so lovely and we look forward to having her walk our dogs again!”

“Macy has been a GREAT dog walker for me this week! She consistently walks a mile+ in the 30 minute bookings and gives my girl so much love! I will definitely be reaching back out to her with my future dog walking needs.”

“Thank you Emily for taking care of 🍓. Everyday I looked at camera strawberry was so excited to she you. Thank you for making time to come to give her a extra walk yesterday. I highly recommend Emily for anything I will need for your pet.”

About: I’m an animal care professional with over five years of hands-on experience in shelter work, neonatal fostering, wildlife handling, and veterinary clinic support, and I’m currently a student looking to go into the vet med field. I’ve cared for everything from bottle-fed kittens and young puppies to senior pets, livestock, reptiles, and native wildlife! My background includes medication administration (oral, topical, and subcutaneous), post-surgical recovery support, behavioral observation, enrichment planning, and multi-species handling. I can confidently say that I am highly attentive to subtle changes in appetite, energy, and behavior, and that I prioritize safety, structure, and low-stress care, as the health and well-being of the pets I attend to is what’s most important. I have extensive experience with: • Neonatal kittens and puppies • Fearful, anxious, or under-socialized animals • Medication routines and special-needs pets • Multi-pet households • High-energy or working breeds Inviting someone to care for and look after your furry friend is no small feat, and I take great pride in being given the privilege to. I provide consistent updates, clear communication, and dependable care so you can feel confident while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities :) Pet care is something I intentionally structure into my daily and weekly schedule! I make sure to maintain a consistent routine and only accept bookings I can reliably commit to, ensuring each pet receives focused, unhurried attention. I always prioritize punctuality, clear communication, and keeping pets on their normal feeding, medication, and enrichment schedules to reduce stress while their owners are away. Because I have a background in structured animal care environments, I’m comfortable balancing multiple routines while staying attentive to each pet’s individual needs! Safety and low-stress handling are always my top priorities! I carefully follow all care instructions provided, including feeding guidelines, medication schedules, and behavioral notes. I always take time to observe each pet’s comfort level and adjust my approach accordingly, especially with shy or anxious animals. In clients’ homes, I respect boundaries and maintain a clean, secure environment, double checking doors, gates, and enclosures, and ensuring pets are safely contained before entering or leaving. I’m sure to avoid introducing unfamiliar stimuli and maintain a calm presence to help pets feel secure. About: I have a 5-year-old golden retriever. I trained him myself and I always get compliments from strangers that he is a well-behaved dog which I am very proud about. I've always loved dogs and have been around them since I was a child. Since I'm a pet owner myself I know how I want my pet to be treated by a pet sitter. I always send pictures of the dogs to the owners and keep the pet owners updated on the regular basis during the pet's stay with me. I am a full-time stay-at-home mom. My toddler and my dog love to go on walks, so we spend a lot of time walking the trails and playing fetch at the parks. My golden retriever is very friendly and loves to have company over. I always keep all dogs that I watch on the leash while walking to keep them safe and secure. I don't usually let the dogs so say hi to other dogs if I see their body language telling me that they are uncomfortable in the situation, so we can avoid any dog fights.
About: I grew up in rural north Florida, about an hour from Tallahassee. My husband and I have lived here since 2012. We adopted one cat and two special needs dogs through the Tallahassee Animal Shelter’s foster program. We’ve also worked with a number of friends who adopted dogs in similar circumstances. I intimately understand the varying needs of pets. I also grew up around a wide range of pets/animals, and there isn’t much that will scare me off. I work remotely with a flexible schedule and there’s rarely a single moment during the day where I can’t be around or available within 10 minutes. As mentioned above, I have been caring for two special needs dogs (heavy prior abuse and severe light/sound trauma) for 6 years. We love our babies so much and always take it seriously when someone says their pet needs extra care. I’ve lived it in every situation.

About: I love to walk and your dog will love walking with me! I am conscientious and courteous. Safety first and always scoop the poop! I am a passionate and empathetic dog guardian! I have worked at a well known (SPCA) vet clinic located in southern Virginia. While there I managed a staff of ten and helped transform their low cost spay and neuter facility of 500 patients to a full service clinic of over 10,000. I recently moved to Georgia and am excited to start volunteering at the local animal shelter. Sadly my dog passed away in 2019, and I have yet to bring home another angel. That's one of the reasons I love Rovering! It's like being a dog grandmother - I get to spoil them to pieces! My motto is safety first, then nothing but fun! I enjoy taking care of all dogs, but there is a special place in my heart for the oldies but goodies. I work remotely so watching your boo is part of my favorite job! I am at home throughout the day and am focused on your boo. In my home safety is always my number one priority. I make sure to keep and clean and tidy space. Water will always be fresh and topped off. The floor and counters are free from things your boo can get into. Rules stay the same as if your boo was at home.
About: I have had experience growing up with two two dogs aiding in training and care. I also have had an adopted 6 month year old that was scarred from being at the shelter and working him out of his shell thanks to my experience working for a year and half at Petco dealing with everything from generalized caregiving to health remedies and understanding of generalized health. My availability does fluctuate due to my being in retail management with no further constrictions during holiday. This fact alone has kept me from being a dog parent myself due to a continuously changing schedule personally. With proper notice I can make sure my schedule can align with expectations. My apartment is animal free apartment with no risk of anyone getting along with another. I’m in a open complex in that there’s no restrictions of breeds. I’ve rescued two dogs from my complex due to my my rigorous schedule I can’t regularly have a companion of my own, however I can accommodate for time periods to make sure they’re taken care of properly.
Tallyrand dog parents share their Rover experiences
My first time using Brittany with my dog who has some anxieties and she was the perfect fit! He warmed up to her immediately on meet and greet and did great with her while we were out of town. I will definitely be utilizing her services again. I feel very comfortable with her.

Edward came to our hotel while we were in town to walk our boy Cooper. He was on time, sent photos and was even kind enough to add an extra visit/walk when our schedule changed and were unable to get back to the hotel. Edward was FANTASTIC!!! I will definitely request his services again if we ever find ourselves in Jacksonville, FL again!!
