“We are a four dog family and asked much of Jalissa watching them all during our home’s open house. She managed to keep them all very happy taking them for long walks and sending lots of photos of their adventures. Caring for four dogs at once is not for the weak of heart and she did an amazing job. I would entrust our pups to her anytime. She takes your dogs on as her own and makes sure they’re happy while you’re gone. Thank you Jalissa!”
About: Im currently in Graduate school online so when I will have lots of time to spend with your pet. I am also very experienced with animals as I have had dogs and cats all my life, I've also volunteered at the SPCA so I have some professional experience as well. I am very open to discussing schedules and am very flexible as my classes are online with no set time. Feel free to reach out to discuss what works best for you. Your pets safety is of the utmost importance and I will make sure they are properly looked after and stay vigilant of any possible dangers.

About: I’m a dedicated dog mom to two pups of my own, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. My dogs have very different personalities, which has given me experience with both calm, easygoing dogs and larger, high-energy ones who need structure and engagement. I also have light experience with cats and am comfortable respecting their space and routines. Safety and consistency matter a lot to me. I follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, keep doors and gates secure, and try to maintain your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable while you’re away.
“Sara did a great job watching our dog, cat, fish and house while we were gone for 11 days. They sent regular photos/updates, were very communicative, and the house was clean and cared for when we got home. Our spicy cat even warmed up to them eventually! It was a great comfort to know that our pup was getting his walks and was able to stick to his regular routine while we were away. We will defiantly use Sara again.”

“Taryn was a great sitter, who was neat and considerate and who left a very content dog when she left our house. Our return plans were uncertain due to weather in CO but Taryn was more than willing to adjust her schedule to accommadate ours and Buddy's needs. Would definitely call on her again.”

“Oscar was able to accommodate house/dog sitting my two pups pretty last minute but adapted so quickly! One of our dogs can be distrusting but Oscar put in the time to make her comfortable. He sent daily updates and was super responsive. Overall great experience, and will definitely be using Oscar’s services again!”

“Valery was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of Hendrick. During her stay she sent us lots of pictures and videos. She left the house clean! I highly recommend her to house sit.”

About: Letty is a Carmel native and proud sixth-generation Californian. She studied business at the University of San Francisco and continued her education in London at the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Courtauld Institute of Art. After living abroad, she returned to the Monterey Peninsula, where she brings her creativity to local projects. With a lifelong love of animals, Letty is happy to care for dogs and other beloved pets - because there’s nothing quite like the bond we share with them. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, decorating, supporting local charities, and spending time with her niece. Pet care easily becomes part of my daily rhythm—I genuinely enjoy it. I build my schedule around walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship, making sure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and not rushed. I care for pets by sticking closely to their established routines - feeding, walks, playtime, and rest - while giving them lots of attention and companionship. In a client’s home, I also make sure to respect the space, keep things clean, and follow any specific instructions exactly as provided.

“Sophia was a great pet sitter. She checked in with me regularly and was very prompt. It was much easier to enjoy my recent trip knowing that Sophia was there with my dog, Kota. Kota is an older dog, and Sophia managed her medications and small walks for us. I would, of course, book her again.”

“Kostyantyn did a great job with our 1 year old boxer Caesar. They got along very well, and he was able keep Caesar busy with walks and play and eventually he took afternoon nap. We were kept updated with pics throughout day. Highly recommend.”

I’ve grown up around pets and have cared for dogs, cats, birds, and even a bunny. I raised my pit bull mix from puppyhood into adulthood, and I currently care for a German Shepherd who I’ve had for over four years. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels — from calm companions to more active, strong breeds. I enjoy taking pets on safe, enriching walks at local parks and beaches, and I always tailor care to each pet’s needs and routine. Safety and communication are my top priorities. I’m confident handling unexpected situations calmly and responsibly, and I make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved while in my care. I’m open to working with all breeds and always treat every pet as if they were my own. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and well-being will always come first. I am willing to work with you on dates & times you need. I do live in house that has a fenced yard. I live less than 1 minute away from a dog park which is so convenient. My neighborhood is calm.

“Emily was AMAZING with our two dogs! Señor and Benji were not only properly cared for, but were loved and given lots of attention while we’re were away. Emily took care of our dogs and our home for 5 days and we cannot say enough about how happy we are with her! She sent pics of the dogs and even let our crazy chihuahua steal her blanket when he had 4 of his own! What a kind person, we feel so lucky to have met her through Rover and will definitely have her back when we need the boys to be cared for again!!”

About: I have cared for animals since I was a teenager. I’ve never had my own, so I enjoy working with other people's pets. Im a nurse, so im good at caring for humans and this makes me very comfortable providing care to animals as well. I’m also great with giving medications and ensuring your pet is safely cared for. I'm currently working remotely, so I will have plenty of time to care for your cat as much as needed. I know most cats don’t enjoy being walked, but if you have a harness I’d be glad to take your cat along with me! I have typically cared for pets in other's homes to provide them the same familiar environment they're accustomed to. I also can't have pets at my studio. So caring for your cat is a chance for me to have a pet part-time 🙂
“Jasmin was an excellent sitter. She stayed at our house and it was in great condition when we got home. Our dog was well cared for and see seemed happier and less stressed than with other sitters. Jasmin communicated well every day with us about how things were going and we look forward to having her support again.”
