About: *New to Rover…NOT new to pet sitting!* Hi there! My name is Gisella. I live in Big Sur and I absolutely adore dogs (and cats). I’ve owned dogs throughout my whole life…I don’t remember ever not having a dog, actually. All of our dogs have always been rescues/adopted, and with that comes its challenges, especially dealing with different types of personalities in dogs. I’m comfortable with all dogs, big or small, young or old. I worked for Carmel Valley Vet and was team leader at Dawg House Grooming Salon in Carmel Valley Village. I can ensure your pet will be in great care with some of my amazing references. I have years of dog sitting/walking, house sitting experience and I’ll treat your pets as my own. I’m currently working part-time, so I’m pretty flexible. I can do overnights in your home or in my home (as long as my dog approves), I can do drop in visits, and I can do walks. I can pretty much do anything you need. I have a fully fenced front yard. The property is not accessible to any trails as we live on a cliff side. However, I can drive about five minutes and walk your pup if need be. If I’m staying in your home I will do whatever you usually do for your pet.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was younger. I have 3 years of experience when it comes to dog sitting and house sitting. I always make sure to accompany the pet as often as possible so that they feel cared for and less anxious being away from their owner. I aim to provide the best service and care for pets. I’m currently working full time throughout the week, but I can still find time to take care of someone’s pet before and after my shift. In a client’s home, I can feed, walk, and entertain your pet as needed. I can make sure they have water and food available before I leave to work and I can also put the pet in a crate if the owner asks.

About: I love dogs and will treat your puppy like my own. I live in my own house and will provide frequent potty breaks and playtime. Your puppy will have free access to my couch, bed, and all other living areas. I will show them great love and treat them with gentleness. I have two small dogs that are dog friendly and who are great playmates. I am a responsible and caring person. I hope that you will consider me to take care of your puppy. Feel free to contact me with questions. Thank you for your consideration. I am available full-time until the first week of August and then I will be available most weekends after that. Let me know if you have specific needs. I have a fenced yard and will be able to provide frequent potty breaks. I am home most of the time. Your dog are allowed on my furniture and bed.

About: From the age i was born I've always been around dogs and have owned several. As of right now i own 1 and 2 others. I am currently in the process of becoming a CO and would be delighted to take care of your pups part time as i love animals with a passion. I have a wide back yard where i let my dogs run around as well as taking them out for walks. I like to give them at least a couple hours a day of exercise to keep them healthy. As well as treats for good behavior.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. At age 4 I fostered an abandoned litter of kittens. Since then I’ve cared for nearly every type of pet you can think of. I grew up off-the-grid in the heart of the national forest in Big Sur with limited electricity & no WiFi or cell service. I always had a dog companion & took it upon myself to do all the care for our family animals. At 13, friends and friends of friends hired me to housesit & care for their animals. Since then I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, goats, chickens, parrots, horses, and more! I competed as a NCAA D1 athlete at UCLA & am returning back to the Bay Area after nearly a year of international adventures. For housesitting services, i can provide care for animals (basic services plus special requests), garbage disposal, mail collection, plant upkeep, etc. Will follow instructions offered by pet parent. “I have known Gisella for several years. I hired her to work in our grooming salon, where she excelled. As I grew to know Gisella, I observed her deep connection with animals and the extent to which she went to give her time for lost, injured, or homeless pets. I have always known Gisella to housesit, provide walks, or other care to our local pets and she is always the first person I refer people to when they are searching for a pet sitter. I highly recommend Gisella for any pet sitting needs because I know she will love your pet just as much as you do.”

Ethen M.
“Hello, I've known Ethen to have patience and care for his own male medium sized dog, who's 2 1/2 years old, whom Ethen cared for since his dog was approximately 4 months old. He also has helped with 2 other small family dogs (1 male & 1 female) who are approx. 5 & 7 years old, who have been with family since they were approx. 2 months old. He has given them constant flea baths & regular baths as needed. He's fed them properly and let's them out, not only when they need to go potty or poo, but to give them some play time as well. He doesn't hesitate to clean up after them if they've had an accident. He's attentive to their physical well being; by alerting when he notices they need veterinary care. Ethen has doggy sat for all 3 dogs, when family was away for the weekend. I've witnessed him calm the dogs down when they get too excited or a little aggressive. He has a calm demeanor, yet stern voice to get the dogs to listen. I believe his love for dogs and other pets would make him a caring & responsible dog walker and pet care provider.”

Fiona H.
“Fiona has a strong background in animal care, especially with dogs, cats, parrots, and farm animals. She is also a very attentive and responsible individual. This, coupled with her enthusiasm for the outdoors and physical activity, ensures ample walks, loving cuddles, and quality care.”
