About: I have had dogs and cats as long as I can remember and absolutely love them and have taken care of friends' dogs for years house sitting for them many years. I have worked with horses for may years as well in many different stables, barns, rescue organizations and also therapeutic riding centers. I have helped many friends and neighbors over the years with sitting for their pets while they travel for business or vacation. I have owned dogs since I was a little girl and even rescued one in my neighborhood when I was little and named him Brownie as he was all white and had one brown spot on him. We were inseparable! Sassy was also my best friend when I was living in Virginia and I never left her when I went on vacation and always took her with me. We ran every morning, played soccer, frisbee, and she loved the beach and was such a good swimmer that she loved to ride the waves. I miss her every day! We have two dog parks and I am often at these dog parks at least once a day. However if you have a dog that is not comfortable with that I would not take them there. About: Hello, I have been taking care of a wide range of animals since I was 15. I’ve had 5 ferrets, guinea pigs, cats and dogs my whole life. I have a Staffordshire terrier, an American bully, and a black lab/ leopard catahoula mix. I am used to having a heavy dog on the opposite end of the leash and I am well experienced in animal body language to keep your baby and myself safe. I am an independent contractor who does Rover, Spark, DoorDash and a couple other side gigs. I have worked a 9-5 and it was incredibly difficult following a schedule someone else made for me while trying to manage my kids school and sports schedule's. Since becoming an independent contractor I have gained great relationships with residents of Culpeper and Rappahannock county and more time with my kids. These side gigs help provide me a way to bring in income, socalize, work easily with my kids school and sport schedules and give me the flexibility to rest when my autoimmune disease flares up. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
