“This was the first time that Kara took care of our kitties for us. We had a nice meet and greet a couple days before we left and I felt confident that they were in good hands.? Really enjoy receiving the messages and pictures! We will definitely have her take care of them again!”

“Sydney was amazing! She took excellent care of my cat while I was gone, and sent pictures and a video. She was prompt and responsive, too! I’d contact her again for future trips.”

“Jenn did such a great job with our 3 cats. She communicates quickly and throughly, and was so helpful with anything that came up. She asks good questions and is prepared and well organized. I especially appreciated the pictures she provided. I would recommend her for her professionalism and the great job she did giving us peace of mind! Thank you Jenn!”

“Autumn did a great job with our cat, Benny. Communication was easy and efficient. At our initial visit, Autumn was attentive to all of the instructions for meds, so I was comfortable with entrusting him to her care. (Benny has a heart condition requiring medications at 12 hour intervals). While we were away, Autumn recorded her visits and sent photos to let us know how things were going. By the final visit, it was clear from the pictures that she and Benny were good friends. I would, without reservation, recommend Autumn and use her services again.”

About: I have a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees named Nala, a sweet and loyal guard dog, so I have experience and comfort interacting with all sizes, big and small. I also have two boy cats, Widget and Panko, whom I adopted 8 years ago. I love animals! Over the years, my friends and family have entrusted me with the care of their pets (and home) whenever they're out of town. I work in the field of film, which is typically 3-4 projects a month, so I have pretty open availability for pet care in the days between. I like to ensure that both pets and pet parents feel taken care of, whatever is needed to feel comfort and trust and not have to worry about anything. Beyond the essential needs, I like to go above and beyond by including whatever unique interactions, games, treats, routines, training needs, or other fun things the pet(s) are engaging with at that time.

About: I have had pets all my life, I have house, pet and plant sat for 18 years now. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and cats. Medications are no problem. I enjoy walks just as much as the dogs! I typically travel through a house and pet sitting site. I love it so much I thought I would make it my job! My schedule is flexible. I care for pets in their own homes. Rover insists you start out boarding in the sitters home but I do not offer this service. I pet sit in the clients home only. Thanks :)

About: I grew up with several large and small dogs in my household, and I also began watching dogs about 8 years ago. I began overnight sitting around 4 years ago as well. I have also been cat sitting for about 3 years, and have a cat of my own! I am comfortable administering prescriptions to all pets, as well as regular care (potty breaks, clean ups, brushing, interaction, litter boxes, walking, etc). I have worked with pets of all size variations, and am happy to work with yours! I am a full-time bedside RN on night shift, so I work 3 nights a week for 12-hour shifts. My schedule changes weekly, but I would never accept a job that I am not available for. I have great flexibility due to only working 3 nights a week, as I often switch back to days after a stretch, or can stay on nights if preferred. I am happy to watch your pet overnight at your home. I am comfortable with most services, including but not limited to: walking, going outside for potty breaks, cleaning up after pets, cleaning litter boxes, administering prescription medications, brushing pets, feeding pets, and more. If something is needed for your pet that is not listed here, I am willing to talk about it and see if it is in my scope!

“Christina was so nice and took great care of our dog Hugo during the drop in visit. We look forward to her house sitting soon! We feel very comfortable that she’ll take amazing care of our house, cat, and dog when we need that in the future. :)”

About: I love all kinds of animals! I have a pointer/lab mix and mini dauschund of my own, and they are my tag alongs for all sorts of adventures! I also had a variety of frogs, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs when I was growing up. Most notably, my bearded dragon Cricket who lived to be 16 years old! Additionally, I have experience pet-sitting and dog walking for family members as well as friends and neighbors. I have helped friends with their chickens and other farm animals as well! I live a very active lifestyle and love hiking and swimming, both alone as well as with four-legged friends. I am currently running a small bagel business 2-3 days a week. Outside of a select couple of mornings, my availability is fairly open and flexible! I have a lot of experience with energetic dogs and bring a calm energy to my interactions with them. I respect animals personal space and allow them to approach me when they are comfortable. Most dogs i have met are very comfortable with me because of body language!

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life and am hoping to work with people to care for their animals. I love all cats and dogs, big and small. I have experience with large dog breeds and special needs cats ie. Diabetic and special foods. Trusting your pet sitter can ease so many worries while you you’re not able to be with your animal. I will provide not only pet care but love and cuddles!! I work in Traverse City during the day and would be able to stay in your home to manage your pet’s care to maximize their comfort at home. My work days vary however, on days that I work I can provide morning and evening care. On my off days I can be available all day. Whether you have a list of instructions or a loose schedule for your animal/s I hope to work with you to help your time away go as smoothly as possible. I have a cat of my own and know how nice it is to get updates and photos so I am happy to do that!

“Sara did a wonderful job with our dog when we needed way last minute assistance. She modified her schedule to help us and we deeply appreciated it. She got along great with our dog and we came home to a happy pup. We love to have her back when we need dog care help.”

“Leanne is an extremely conscientious pet sitter. She spent extra time with our dogs to ensure they were comfortable with her prior to us going out of town, and was extremely communicative the entire time we were away. We will definitely trust our dogs in her care in the future and are so glad we found her on the Rover app!”

About: I love animals! I took care of my own pets & those of friends and family before I began to professionally dog-sit in 2008. I do occasional cat care as well, which I began in 2007. I live with my partner, Michael & our dog, Kyro, at the top of Old Mission Peninsula. I work part-time to full-time in any given week, so I have a ton of variety with my schedule. This gives me the time to stop in & check on your doggies, care for them, play, sometimes go to the dogpark or other destination :) I provide pet care in the client's home via drop-ins. I also provide boarding for dogs and cats, and occasionally house-sit. I have oral med experience for both cats and dogs, though I have not given any medications intravenously yet. However, I'm open to being trained on how you administer the intravenous meds needed for your pet's proper medical care.

About: Hi there! This is our first time with a commercial app, usually we keep our sitting to a tight knit circle but we recently lost two of our favorite boys and are looking to add a couple of new families to work with! My name is Ashley and I was sure to add a photo with my partner Hannah so that you know she might pop in with me or visit the pets and I on a walk or join us for a picnic date! I currently work from home so as long as you have a strong, secure connection I can bring my work with me to spend more time with your pets! Please let me know about any special care your pet might need! I am certain that we will hit it off and be the best of friends!

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 12. As an experience equestrian that spent time living on a farm I’ve been in charge of all kind of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, and even horses! I’m currently doing a remote internship. I work from home full time Monday-Wednesday. I work part time locally the rest of the week but have plenty of flexibility. My top priority is making sure your pet feels comfortable. I’ll follow your instructions closely to do whatever keeps you pet the happiest!

James C.
“This is the sitter you've been looking for full stop. When looking for someone to watch your precious pets, and likely be in your space, you need someone you fully trust. You want someone who is willing to go above and beyond if the need should arise. Fortunately for myself (and YOU), that person is James! James has cared for my 3 cats and German Shepherd dog multiple times. Those periods have been a short as a weekend, and as long as 2 weeks. Every time, not only are the pets happy as can be, but we received updates throughout and he took care to ensure no blemish was left on our house. James is incredibly responsible, a pet owner/lover himself, and has my full trust when taking care of my family. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch pet sitter.”

Anna P.
