“We could not have picked a better stay for our first overnights away from our sweet pup, Billie! Rachel and Ivan were extremely communicative and made sure to keep us up to date with the daily activities! Not only did Billie love her time with Rachel and Ivan but also got along great with their resident dog. We received lots of pictures and videos that helped us feel certain that she was having a great time while we were away. Billie has quite a bit of energy and they were able to play fetch and take her for walks to help keep her active. We are so thankful for their care and would recommend and will book again!”

“Our dogs had a blast with Lisa- they had plenty of room to roam and were clearly given great attention and love during their stay, looking happy in the photo updates she sent and good and tired when we picked them up, ready to nap the whole way home. We will definitely reach out again when we’re in the area if needing a pet sitter!”

“Maggie was an amazing pet sitter for our Bulldog, Edison!! She is kind and loving, and was cognizant of his schedule and caring needs and medications. She took him for several walks and adventures, and made him feel right at home! She kept us updated with many photos and communicated regularly. I could tell that Edison was happy and very well cared for. We could not have asked for a better experience! I would trust Maggie to watch him anytime, she was just wonderful.”

About: I am a long-time lover of animals, and have raised a family of humans, along with a family of pets- large dogs, small dogs, birds, hamsters, mice and turtles. I am currently without a pet, so I care for my backyard squirrels, birds, and chipmunks. I am retired with lots of time, energy, and love to care for your dear pet. I love to walk and hike, live close to the TART trail, and would enjoy the company of a furry friend. Walking trails are just outside my door, and I have space for crates and your furry friend's toys or their own special bed and blanket if preferred for their care and comfort.
About: Hi I'm Madi and I'm your dog's new best friend! I'm an animal lover based out of Traverse City, Michigan. My love for animals basically started from birth. I grew up on a farm in Leland where I was constantly surrounded by animals of all kinds including dogs, horses, chickens, cows, sheep, goats, rabbits, and more. However, out of all of the animals I've had I've always had a special place in my heart for dogs and horses. I currently have two dogs of my own, a toy poodle named Lo and a chihuahua/Japanese Chin Kitty! They may be small in size but they have huge personalities! In high school, I worked at a barn to help cover the expenses of owning a horse, I was in charge of taking care of 15 horses, 5 dogs and 6 cats! During this time I developed a deep understanding of animals, and I learned how far a lot of patience and hard work can get you! Over the past several years I have worked as a foster dog parent with multiple rescues around the Denver area. I've fostered dogs from 4 weeks old all the way up to lovely seniors! Through fostering I've learned a lot about care requirements for different breeds and special care for health problems. I'm very comfortable giving animals medication and following special care routines! I also rescue sugar gliders and chinchillas as a passion project and have several varieties of reptiles including uromastyx, tortoises, geckos, skinks, and more! I love all animals big, small, furry, or scaly and am also always open to helping with exotic animal care if those services are ever needed as well! :) I currently work from home as a freelance graphic designer, which leaves me a lot of time to spend with my furry friends! I am home at all times during my availability! I live in a pet friendly home! We are in a semi private area at the end of a caldesac very very far away from busy roads, although the yard is not fenced off it has natural barriers that tend to keep the dogs inside (although they’re always supervised outdoors) I have wood floors and a pet proofed home. I have two small dogs of my own, they typically go out every 2-3 hours, and go on a walk once or twice a day. If your pet is staying with me, they will also go out as much as needed and be joining us for walks (if thats okay with you of course!) Pets are allowed on the bed and furniture in my house, they are treated as family. I do have a cat named Shambhala, as long as your dog gets along with cats he will most likely ignore your dog. He thinks he's too cool to be friends with dogs, his loss. I also have a handful of small caged pets- they are in their own room that dogs have no access to!
“Our dog stayed with Joey for a few days during our wedding weekend. Jared was amazing! He kept us in the loop, sent us photos & videos. He also brought Joey to our ceremony location for photos! We will definitely use Jared’s services again & would recommend to family & friends.”

About: I have had had dogs my entire life and do not have one currently. I just moved to Traverse City, have a fenced in yard and will take great care of your pets. I was work remotely so I am home all day and can care for your pet easily. They can be right by my side during conference calls :) I walk every day several times a day, so will happily take your loved one for walks and fresh air. I have a fenced in yard to make things very convenient. I have a very cozy home with a small fenced in very secure backyard. I will walk your dogs as well and let them sleep in my bed.
“Stephanie was great at communicating and was very flexible. We were traveling and needed someone last minute and she was very accommodating. She sent daily photos which was nice. I would recommend.”

“Such a nice couple to take care of our pup! They socialized him with their dog and took him on a lot of walks and activities. And they sent us a lot of photos and updates so we knew he had fun! Highly recommend.”
