“What impresses me most is that I have two very different types of dogs, and Stephanie has the skills and flexibility to handle them both. Clarity is an elderly, fragile little lap dog who needs a lot of sensitive care and attention. Stephanie listened carefully to her needs and provided her exceptional care. The other dog, Bubba, is tough, strong, highly independent, energetic, and intense, with a prey drive; he loves to play with toys and run fast. Stephanie regularly sent me photos and updates of the fun times he was having in the yard—for example, or of Clarity getting comfy in various spots in her home. Also, I appreciated that on short notice, Stephanie came right over and picked up my dogs. She also dropped them off for me, too, as I requested, so they’d be here to greet me when I arrived home. “Our puppy chopper was a covid puppy and didn’t get much socialization. I thought rover would be a great way to let him make friends. The plan was to take him to different sitters to give him more variety but soon after his first couple of visits I knew I didn’t wanna take him anywhere else but Amy’s! We left our 15 year old Chihuahua:Pomeranian mix nervous dog with Gabriella for the July 4th weekend and were concerned since he is very nervous around strangers and animals. We were pleasantly surprised to hear he was good and he was happy and not hoarse as he typically is after a stay from all the barking. Will definitely consider leaving him with her again in the future.
Van took exceptional care of my dog, Ren, while I was away on a two-week trip to Japan. Being so far from home, it gave me incredible peace of mind knowing Ren was in such caring and capable hands. Van kept me updated throughout the trip with photos and messages, and it was obvious that Ren was happy, comfortable, and well loved. When I picked Ren up, he looked healthy, relaxed, and had clearly been treated like family. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I needed someone to watch my baby for two days while I had to clean up my apartment! I needed some me time and had no idea who to call! When I found out about Rover I was nervous to even think about leaving my baby 😭. I spoke to a few people and narrowed it down to Karina because she was so sweet! Mollie did an excellent job taking care of our Blue heeler, Cody, while we were away visiting our daughters and grandkids. She has a very calm and nurturing presence around animals. This put us at ease right away when we first met for our meet and greet. She kept us up to date with daily messages, pictures and videos of how Cody was doing when we were away. We’re hesitant to write the glowing review Mike and Sarah deserve because we don’t want them to start getting all booked up, so we can’t have them look after our pups whenever we need them to. They’re by far the best Rover boarders we’ve found, and we’ve tried quite a few over the years. Their house is clean and inviting. Their own dog, Archie, is loving and playful and provided a great play companion to the more active of our two dogs. And Mike and Sarah are caring and loving people who cared for our pets like they were their own. Great, timely communication with lots of pictures while we were out of town. We felt totally at ease leaving Wyatt and PK in their care. 💯% would and will turn to them again for boarding in the future.
