About: I'm a recently graduated librarian looking for a job. In the meantime, I'm flexibly available for all petsitting and house sitting needs. I have been petsitting since I was a kid and I'm comfortable with all kinds of cats and dogs. The best friends I've ever had have been animals and I'd love the opportunity to take care of yours'. I live on the west side of Iowa City but I have a reliable car to get to work. This is moonlighting until I get a job as a librarian but could potentially last longer. My apartment building has a large dog park where we could hang out during the day. I have a middle aged cat named Toby who is shy but gets along well otherwise I was on hiatus for Rover for a long time but now have open availability and would love to care for your dogs and cats I follow safety precautions with every pet. About: I have 2 years working in dog boarding facilities so I have experience handling multiple dogs, puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with medical needs/administering medication. I also have cat experience! I work regular hours but I can fit most routines into my day if schedules need to be kept. I am very good at keeping to a set schedule. About: Drop ins: I’ll take your dog on a little walk before feeding them and spending time with your little furry love (20-30 minutes or so) Walking: I’ll take your pooch for a walk and/or run for as long as they require. House sitting: we will go on walks, snuggle, eat and I will be respectful of the owners home- clean up after myself and the animal so you come home to a nice clean home and you don’t have to rush to take care of your beloved fur baby! Boarding: not my preferred method of watching your pooch but if it’s absolutely needed, I can accommodate to make your pooch feel warm and welcome in my home.I have 2 large male dogs and a 2 year old- they’re great but getting older and less tolerant of other dogs.
