“We were a little nervous at first with booking drop-in visits through Rover because we have only ever had our dogs taken care of by close friends and family while we were away. From our initial meet and greet, our 70 pound dogs (a senior Lab mix and a 3 year old extremely hyper Doberman) immediately took a liking to Samantha. She gave us such a wonderful first experience with drop-in visits that we now have the peace of mind from having someone that we could depend on and trust with our fur-babies. She was very punctual with our scheduled drop-ins to feed and water them. She also provided a whole lot of love, attention, and playtime. We received updates and entertaining pictures for the visits so we did not have to worry about anything and we knew they were in great hands.”

About: I'm a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. I have been working with animals since I was 12 years old, I was a member of 4-H where I learned animal care and training. Not only do I have experience in dog care and training but I have also worked with cats, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs and other small mammals. My first real job at age 15 was as a dog groomer. I have also worked for a veterinarian as a vet assistant and have been training dogs professionally for over 20 years, I am currently employed by a local well-known trainer in Canoga Park. I have been a foster parent to over 80 dogs and puppies since May 2011. My 3 dogs are all foster dogs that never left!

About: Ever since I can remember, I have always been around and loved animals. I have two dogs myself and give them the whole world. I have 16 years of experience of dog walking and pet sitting. I also use to work at a vet clinic, and was a dog groomer at a salon, so I have lots of experience from little to XL dogs 🐕 . I would love to come meet you and your fur babies! 🐾🐶 I'm currently am looking to fill my schedule to full time. So I have lots of time to play with your pups and give them the love and attention they deserve! I have two fur babies of my own that are the sweetest and love to play with others, but right now I currently am not offering in home boarding at my house.

About: My family has always had animals as I was growing up. We have had dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, hamsters, Guinea pigs, fish and a bearded dragon. I have cared for class pets in high school and was a member of FFA where I raised & showed pigs. I have always had a special place in my heart for all animals and knew at a very young age that caring for animals will become my career. I am in college studying ag services and development. I am a very calm and patient person which can help animals that are high anxiety. It would be a privilege to get to know your fur babies and care for them as if they are my own. I am currently a sophomore in college and am done at around 3pm everyday and free on weekends which gives me plenty of time to play with your loved ones. I listen to the instructions given by the owner and do what is asked of me. I will walk, play and snuggle with your fur baby while I am with them. I will send updates/ pictures to the owner so you can be stress free while you are away.

About: Growing up in the country, taking care of animals large and small has always been a huge part of my life. I know the difficulty and stresses of finding a trustworthy and caring pet sitter, which has inspired me to be that person for others. I have given shots and medications as needed on many occasions. You can feel confident leaving your beloved pets in my care without worry. I live on a working ranch and have the time, caring heart and skill to help others when they need to be away from home. I have a fenced yard suitable for large dogs as well as many acres to walk and a pet friendly home with both dogs and cats. I can crate, have out in my home or separate pets as requested. I am also available to care for pets in their home either daily visits or overnight stays. I am currently working part time and can give your pets the time and attention needed to keep everyone happy and healthy during our time together. I have a fenced yard for large dogs, I have two dogs to keep your fur babies company or I can crate or separate them if required.

About: I’ve had dogs and taken care of others’ dogs since I was little. I’ve been relied on by families, neighbors and friends to take care of their dogs while they’re away on vacations or just not home and need someone to care for their dogs. I’m at stay at home mom and am always available to help you care for your dog (s). Most of my weekends are free as well. I will always follow your instructions very clearly on how to care for your dog (s). I’m also open to meeting you and pets upon you trusting me with taking care of them while you’re away.

About: Hello! 👋 I moved over from Scotland last year and I am wanting to spread my wings and get to know the area. I love living here. It’s so beautiful! Dogs have been part of my life since I was a boy. Always helping out with my granny who had a Beautiful Kerry Blue - Yogi. It’s been since then I have took care of many family pets - A Miniature schnauzer, Irish wolf hound, Jack Russel, cockapoo and a Labrador. As part of my last role in Scotland I helped to get dogs into colleges to help relive anxiety through pets. It was amazing seeing the students faces light up when the dogs came through the door. Right now I help my sister who has 4 dogs. so there is always something to do. I love animals, especially dogs. They are just so amazing and we are lucky to have them. Can’t wait to meet yours :D I am quite flexible during the weekdays - I am available weekdays Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm. I am also available to do stay overs. Weekends are negotiable When meeting a new dog I let them come to me so they can get to trust me and build on that. Also being very mindful of what the owner expects of me. All dogs have their own personality and are use to thier own people, places and things. Someone new coming into the mix takes time and patience for the dog to adjust but I have found that when you are open towards the dog they are happy to meet you there on thier own terms.
