About: I’m a Certified Professional Dog Trainer with a lifelong passion for animals. I started working with them at age 12 through 4-H, where I learned hands-on animal care and training. About: I've been working with animals for the past 5 Years! I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. I love my job to this day and still care for dogs and cats at my current job! I'm currently a stay at home mom for my babies so I am always home a ready to provide care! I usually (as weather permits of course) take a morning walk between 8-10am with my dog and my boarding friends, hang out around the house and backyard until our evening walk before bed around 8-10pm after the sun is down! I am constantly boarding dogs in my home so I do have extra crates if needed otherwise I only have 1 dog of my own who is a St. Bernard and is pretty lazy so he will be there to keep my boarding dogs company but also knows to nap if the other dogs need a break from playing. I work full-time during the week, but I still have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available on weekends and can also care for pets on weekdays when I get off work. I love spending time with animals and enjoy giving them plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and lots of love while their owners are away. I’m happy to work with each pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for! Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in their home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
