About: Since childhood I have been around animals; from small little hamsters to snakes and other reptiles. About: I have worked at an animal hospital for 5 years total where I learned how to train dogs from Kathy Sadao who used to train the wales to relinquish the bombs for the Navy. I have owned large and XL breed dogs my whole life as well. I will treat your dog like a human child as they will be allowed on my furniture, my bed, and probably my kids beds as well. I have a little over 10 acres for them to play on. We are starting a small farm style residents and would love to shower your fur babies with love and attention. Since starting Rover, 90% of my clients are returning, and become part of our family as well. I have trained people’s dogs in the time I have had them along with help manage dogs anxiety’s to different things. I helped a water aggressive dog become no longer water aggressive. A dog who pulled on a leash so hard you couldn’t walk him to now, my 6 year old son walks him with no worries. About: I have had a total of 3 dogs as siblings, since I was a baby. A chihuahua, black lab, and a German Shepard/Rottweiler mix. I turned from just a dog lover to also a cat lover when I got my son, Theo, as a kitten. He’s 2 now and a sweet, silly boy. There’s also 3 other cats where I live and they attach to me like Velcro. I’ve had a lot of experience with taking care of others people’s animals (mostly dogs and cats) while their owners were out of town. I’ve done drop-ins, as well as staying overnight at their homes. In total, I’ve taken care of over 30 people dogs and 15 cats. I fall in love with just about every dog and cat I see and I have always done a great job at taking care of them and showing them love. Law enforcement and medical care household, I have a big backyard with grass and a big deck that my dog loves to lay out on. I work a rotating schedule, I am always available via phone if any questions or issues may arise. I work from home by often so I can be flexible and accomodating. I will be local for most holidays. I have a routine with my dog, I take her on one big walk every day and she plays outside or sleeps during the day. I have a large fenced backyard with 6' high fences. About: I have been rescuing animals most of my life (cats mainly) and have 10 years experience with special needs cats. Mainly diabetic/hypothyroid kitties. I can administer medication which included giving injections, oral medication, and pills. Along with syringe feeding, and subcutaneous iv fluids I do work full time M-F so my availability is early morning or after work 8-5 however I can add some flexibility. About: I grew up raising and owning dogs, but I don't have an ego and pretend to know everything or be an expert. I'm always willing to learn and treat every dog with an open mind. I used to raise German Shepherds, but that hobby has since run its course. I've worked as a kennel assistant For vet clinics, and I've also volunteered at a few wolf sanctuaries. I'm currently having a fairly open schedule while I reconstruct my life, so I'm very flexible and at times, can handle last minute plan changes or bookings. I try to provide stimulation and exercise amongst my dogs daily. Walking, play, etc. I also try to have them around whenever at all possible.
