About: I grew up raising and owning dogs, but I don't have an ego and pretend to know everything or be an expert. I'm always willing to learn and treat every dog with an open mind. I used to raise German Shepherds, but that hobby has since run its course. I've worked as a kennel assistant For vet clinics, and I've also volunteered at a few wolf sanctuaries. About: I have been taking care of dogs almost every week on the weekends along with sitting for my neighborhood dogs, cats, birds and guinea pigs while they are on vacation or away from their home. I work remotely full time, which means your pup gets plenty of supervision, attention, cuddles, potty breaks, and play throughout the day. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, with a special soft spot for small dogs, seniors, anxious pups, and dogs with medical or mobility needs. I’m comfortable administering medications and have hands-on experience with post-operative care, IVDD/spinal conditions, orthopedic concerns, and senior dogs who need a little extra patience and support. All dogs must be fully vaccinated, including Bordetella, and current on flea prevention for the safety of every dog in my care. I usually take them out every half hour just for exercise or fun as well as potty breaks (which is a good way to break bad marking habits for ones training). If it's a nice day usually we are outside all day playing and walking teaching the ones who are still in need of guided assistance. Which actually makes things way easier on me. Unless of course it's just to hot to be out side. Rainy days are our lazy days or indoor activity days. Lots of cuddles and loves. My personal fur babies are not kenneled but I do have kennels for ones who prefer it. It's whatever makes them happiest. Or feel the safest. I'm a pretty good judge of character when it comes to fur babies. We read one another very well. Which in turn makes us more comfy with one another. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with one ever.i know when to back off or come in for loves. Mutal respect is the best policy I feel.
