“Marya was very sweet with our dogs and made sure that they were taken care of while we were out of town for the day. Our dog Roscoe is sometimes nervous with new people dropping in when we’re gone so Marya came to meet them the day before. We really appreciated knowing they were well taken care of via updates, it allowed us to enjoy visiting family and not have to worry.”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 8 years old when I got my first official pet, a parakeet named Kiwi. Since then, I’ve helped take care of my family’s dogs, cats, gecko, and my own dog. I worked as a Client Service Representative at a Vet Clinic in New York for a year before moving to Duluth, MN. I work full time during the week as a teacher, and most evenings as a swim coach. During the summer I’ll have much more availability since I won’t be teaching, but for now am mostly available on the weekends and some evenings during the week. At my home, dogs need to be leashed when outdoors as I do not have a fenced in yard. I’m comfortable working around the parameters of your own home to best fit your pet’s needs.

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, and I have had 2 dogs of my own, who I consider my babies. My current dog is a 85lb 11 year-old lab/chow mix so I have particular experience with large dogs of all ages, including senior dogs. For walks, I am comfortable with walks around your neighborhood, as well as driving to walking/hiking paths all over Duluth for more exercise and variety. I also have a basic knowledge in dog training. Currently, I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I can do house visits and walks as many times a day as you like! I will work with you and your pet to determine what care is best for them. However, I will not use pinch collars or shock collars, so if you use these on your dog, I'm not the best fit for you. When visiting your home, I will treat your space with the utmost respect, and will always respect your pet's boundaries in terms of what they are comfortable with.

About: I've taken care of my dog Boe since we got him as a puppy and he is always so much fun to hang out with him! I work remotely for most of the week and would be able to take several breaks throughout the day to play with your pet and/or take them on walks We have a good size backyard with a zipline that can be attached to a dog's collar. We also have a vehicle that is big enough to transport your pet for any longer hikes or walks

About: I have had animals a majority of my life, and have always had multiple animals in my current home, between mine, roommates and friends. I occasionally give a relatives diabetic cat her insulin shots, and my dog is on pain pills, so can administer those types of things if needed. I work full time, mostly in Superior, so moat days can stop home on a lunch break to let the animals out and check on things. However, I do work out on the ountry on Mondays and Thursdays, so don't have an option to stop home during the day on those days. But otherwise, having animals of my own I already plan around being able to feed them and of course give all the loves and potty breaks. I have a cat and a dog, so the house is already set up for animals! I do only have 1 chain set up outside but can easily set up more if needed, as well as space for crates if you use them, and pet gates to give or limit access to certain parts of the house.

About: I’ve been overnight pet sitting and dog boarding for friends, family, and coworkers for many years now and I absolutely love it. I welcome all pet snuggles and licks; not afraid of any hair or dirt :) I work weekdays 8am-5pm so I’m available Mo-Fri 6am-7:30am and 5:15pm-11pm, with availability for 30-45min drop ins around lunchtime if needed. Available all weekend times. I have one small, shy cat that lives with me, so I would only board if it was the right circumstances. Otherwise I am very comfortable doing drop in visits, walks, and play dates!

About: Spending time and interacting with animals has always been a passion of mine. Over the years I helped my grandma run her dog sitting service, taking the dogs for walks and cleaning up the kennels. I also enjoy being outside and taking my own dog for long walks and fun trips to the dog park. My dog is a family member and I intend on treating yours the same way. Your dog will have a great time exploring the city and playing with others at the dog park. I hope to someday have my own place where I can board dogs just like grandma did. I spend 90% of my time with dogs and we enjoy playing with other pups at the dog parks, we are traveling nomads and look forward to meeting you My dogs live in my van with me Both are crate trained. I feed my dogs twice a day. They enjoy laying around the house being lazy. Going to the dog park to play with others is always fun too!!! We also enjoy walking

“Anna did a wonderful job watching our three dogs! They were all very happy and well cared for when we returned. We did too in visits and she took the time to stay and play with our dogs and love on them. When she came by to meet them ahead of time, our Great Dane immediately liked her. Anna did a great job following our request time wise for visits. Highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I am Lilly! I’ve been taking care and helping train my family’s service dog, and many family friends have relied on me to watch their dogs while they are away. I love going for walks with my dog, so I figured I can do the same for people who need some help! Currently I am only home for the summer, I am flexible during the morning and afternoons most days but am willing to accommodate to the needs of some clients! I believe pets deserve the same respect as humans, I respect their boundaries and personal space. While being in the home of other people the same respect applies, privacy is very important!
