“This the first time using Rover. After a very bad meet and greet with another sitter, we were apprehensive about our first visit with Julie and Eddie-WOW-were we ever wrong! You know what they say about dogs can sense “stranger danger”? Well , Mello fell asleep (snoring) while we were finishing up our meeting. Guess he was relaxed! His 9 days with Julie and Eddie were like his vacation too. They made sure he was happy and comfortable throughout his stay. A steady stream of photos, videos and comments kept us informed and relaxed. This couple love their “guests” ! I would not want to leave Mello with anyone else!”

“When my dogsitter cancelled at the last minute before my trip out of the country, I became so anxious and had to go into 'scramble mode'. I had never used Rover before but several of my co-workers at the Humane Society of the US recommended it. Nugget is blind and, according to my son, I coddle him too much (which is true) so of course I was really nervous about leaving him with a stranger. Tammy's profile checked all of my boxes: fenced yard, dogs are not crated, she works from home and she has another dog. She looked like the perfect fit....and she was! Her dog, Archie, took on a protective role with Nugget, as if he instinctively knew that Nugget was a 'special-needs' guy and her daughter became his immediate snuggle buddy. Tammy communicated several times each day, sending pictures, videos and reassurances that my baby was doing just fine. I have other trips planned and will definitely use Tammy if she's willing to take Nugget again.”

Leila was so quick to respond to my initial inquiry and was flexible in setting up our first visit. We had to change the times of both our drop off and pick up and she was more than accommodating. I greatly appreciated her flexibility. She sent us daily updates (if not 2x daily) along with pics. It was so great seeing our boy play with other similar dogs. She seems to be well-versed in what dogs can play together and what dogs may need to be separated. I think Sterling might be missing those pups already! “What a find. Kate is wonderful loving very capable dog person. I was very anxious to leave my 13-year-old Sebrina with just anybody. We had a meet and greet that almost lasted 2 hours. We hit it off and more importantly Sebrina did too. Sebrina was spoiled she got to sleep in a people's bed. My husband was picking up Sebrina and Kate wanted to see a picture of him, so she wouldn't give her to just anybody. That impressed me.”

“Super nice and very friendly. I would recommend her. Be aware you have to be able to carry your pet up a ladder before booking, but my husband was with me so it was not a problem. I wouldn’t have been able to do it myself. I am sure the host would have helped if needed.”
