About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life. I walk a malamute and husky a lot. I pet sit for smaller dogs too. I love walking dogs because it’s a good exercise for them I’m currently looking for a job so I have a lot of time to hangout and play with your animals and to care for them When walking dogs I walk them for an hour and I always bring water to make sure they get the water they need and don’t overheat
About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and all sorts of animals in our house. We would often foster animals growing up, and had two dogs in my childhood. My partner and I committed to a new doggo for us in August 2020 - a cuddly, loving Cavapoo named Bebe. I love being outside with her, and we frequently run together, play fetch together, and stretch together. I have also loved teaching and training her since her puppyhood. Potty training, sit, come, fetch, dance, down, roll over, walk, run, stay, big jump, up, down, and more. We have her crate trained and think that the mental stimulation in this regard is very important. I'm actually playing fetch with her right now! I am an Assistant Director at a summer camp and work 30 hours a week from home in the non-summer season. I generally take the dogs out in the morning for about an hour of fetch and stretching and morning poop, then do some training with them in my lunch break, and then go for a run or walk in the evening after I am done before dinner. I am neat, tidy, and responsible. I am an eagle scout, and was always taught to leave a place cleaner than I found it. :) If I am staying at a home, I will bring my laptop and work from there, and keep my routine similar to the schedule outlined above.

About: I have taken care of and grew up with all kinds of small, medium and large dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, birds, rodents and more. I am signing up for Rover as I love animals and can’t have a per where I live and would love to help care for yours. I live in Nevada City CA and can travel to Lincoln, Roseville or Sac if you’re able to help with reasonable gas compensation. I miss my former roomie’s doggo (Ollie the Shiba Inu featured in many of my pics) sooo much and would love to care for your dearest animal family member. I grew up with animals and have professionally taken care of dogs as a dog walker, as a paid house and overnight dog sitter and cat sitter, and have caretaked for long periods of time professionally for friends’ and many different roommates’ dogs and houses. I love ALL animals and happy to also care for your exotic pet - lizards, geckos, snakes, rats, fish, horses (I love horses too and have some but limited horse care experience). - I literally love all animals! I have volunteered at an exotic zoo doing animal care and feeding, cleaning the cage for several months and even studied abroad in college and lived in Kenya Africa for 3 months to study wildlife management. Fun fact - I got to hold and feed a baby sloth as part of this. I have a flexible and open schedule presently as and am looking for work and pet sitting opportunities. I would love to work with animals that I can continue to build a relationship with - like be your regular dog walker, or maybe you live here part-time and want support for your cat while you’re out of town. I don’t think I’m allowed to have dogs or cats at my Studio apartment, so sadly can’t board your animal. I provide on leashed, or very long leed, activities unless there’s a good deal of confidence from the owner and myself that your dog’s recall is conducive to creating a safe environment around other dogs and hazards.
About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was just a baby, all my family members have had puppies and doggies and can always rely on me to watch them when they’ve needed it. On days that I am not working I would love to be walking or sitting dogs! I usually go for morning and sunset walks everyday so I would be happy to have a friend join me! Also am available to watch dogs while you’re away on vacation, just not at my house because I’m not allowed to have pets in my apartment. I will follow exactly how you’d like your dog to be taken care of! Just let me know how you usually do things with them and I’ll do the same, I’ve noticed it’s easier for the dogs because the are used to how their owner does things!

I'm super excited and also very confident in my abilities to watch and care for your pet as if they were my own! I work remotely, so I'm able to cater my schedule to the needs of any pets I'm sitting. This could mean early morning and evening walks, mid day check ins, etc. I take notes on what the owner typically offers the pet in their normal day to day and incorporate that so the pet feels as comfortable as possible. About: I have had a variety of animals always in my life. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and rodents. (All of which I've had at some point) I have also worked for a rescue charity for 7+ years which resulted in having learned basic and emergency care, as well as administration of medication. I am retired and looking to fill my time with love and cuddles. I have always enjoyed caring for the variety of animals I have and have had. I love learning all the cute special quirks and loves of every animal I interact with. I am very respectful of other people's space and items - my focus is on the animals in my charge. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
