Nickey took amazing care of our dog, and took him on a ton of walks, checked in regularly and was fun to talk to. Our house was in perfect condition when we returned home, and so was our dog. “If I could give Heidi more than 5 stars I would! I was kept up to date every single day and Heidi ensured the pups were both taken care of as if I never even left! She went above and beyond while I was gone for the 10 days. The dogs made a huge mess of my couch but Heidi immediately called me and then went ahead and cleaned up the mess. The dogs were very well taken care of and she sent at least one picture a day sometimes more. I would recommend getting Heidi to take care of any pet! She was an excellent communicator and both the dogs loved her! Will for sure go to her first for any pet sitting needs!”

“Sophie was perfect in every way! She took excellent care of our Peekapoo, Gia for two consecutive nights while we were attending a wedding. Gia, who has separation anxiety warmed up to Sophie relatively quickly thanks to her experience with and love of dogs combined with her mild-mannered, gentle style. We had some delays due to weather and late starts, she was very accommodating, which eased the pressure. Would definitely book her again! Highly recommended:):)”

About: I am currently a member of the orchestra now at bard college as a cellist. I just finished my masters at the eastman school of music in Rochester. I found rover 5 years ago with my sister in minneapolis and have been loving it since! I am an orchestral musician and rehearse but using rover is great because a lot of my work is done practicing so I love sharing music with the dogs I meet I make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable with a new person around them. I treat new dogs as if they were my own.

“until recently, I had a very senior aged German Shepherd mix. Shaina was my “go to” caregiver for the last year of her life; she stayed with my dog when i was out of town and walked her when i could not. so gentle and patient with my girl, Shaina was always VERY responsible with properly feeding, exercising, & medicating my elderly girl; and always kept me abreast of my dogs going on when I was out of town. She’s such a good communicator! I’ll be forever grateful to shaina for her deep well of kindness.”

“We were in Stamford for a Saturday wedding and Emily helped stay with our bichon frise while we were out. She was well organized with ensuring she knew all our details and was punctual. As our dog gets separation anxiety and her nose gets her into trouble, Emily (with experience with having multiple dogs I believe) had no issues with our Princess. Our wedding shuttle arrived back late and other guests arrived home before us - Emily was hesitant to leave Princess before we arrived, but our house guests assured her it was okay. If you're looking for someone who will care for your dog as you would, I highly recommend Emily. :)”

She sent several pictures and provided updates daily. We are moving out of state, but if we were staying Amyra would be our go to dog sitter!!”

About: Ive owned animals since i was 25 . They are my passion and my care for them will be about there happiness , comfort and well being . Im currently self employed and have mostly a flexible schedule. I can usually accommodate most needs if known in advance. My time is extremely valuable to me , caring for my own dogs, chickens and horses but im always willing to try to accommodate the needs of other pet parents . I will adapt to how you want your pet cared for in there home . If there is not a fenced yard i will always use a leash, if they need doggie steps or a ramp i will take care in making sure they use them/it . Doggie doors or cat doors will be used as you prefer. I will feed Special diets or special feeding programs . I will administer certain medications …ask.

They looked so happy in all of the pictures/videos she sent. She even trimmed Knox’s nails & bought them each a new toy. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!”

About: I’ve pet sat for people in my town many times. I also have a lot of animals. I have the much needed experience to care for your animals I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to care for your animals. I am available whenever and we can work around my work schedule I will love them like my own and make sure they get a good amount of play time and make sure they are cared for.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs for most of my life helping to care for them. I’ve learned to care for every pet like they’re my own and I will stick to that! I’m now becoming more familiar with the care for cats and I love them just as much! I’m a commuting student. But I have plenty of free time to be able to care for pets and I would love to do it! I am very good with following routine. I can also help provide ways to help with ensuring pets receive their medications. I am also very attentive.

“If I could give Jillian 10 stars, I would! She is the absolute best!! I have a special needs senior dog with extreme anxiety. Jillian stayed at my house for 10 days, gave her her medicine 4 times a day, helped her up and down stairs, snuggled on the couch with her and remained patient and caring throughout her stay. I can’t thank Jillian enough for what she did. This is the first time in 4 years that my dog didn’t end up in the hospital due to her anxiety while we were away on vacation and we have always left her with reputable sitters. Jillian is priceless!!!”
