I’ve taken care of a little bit of everything - dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs - so I’m really comfortable adapting to whatever unique routine your animal needs. My love playing with animals, chilling with them, and just watching them do what they do. One of my biggest strengths is working with pets who are on the shy or anxious side. I know how stressful it can be for them when their owners are away, so I’m incredibly patient. I know how to read their body language, give them the space they need, and just let them open up to me at their own pace until they feel completely safe. I am currently on summer break from college and take care of my own dogs at home. I make sure to give them everything they need from walks to play to just sitting around together. My main priority is keeping a constant eye on your pet and sticking as close to their normal routine as possible. Whether I'm staying at your place or visiting, your pet won't be left alone for long stretches, which really helps prevent separation anxiety. About: Since I was young I have always been drawn to caretaking of animals, and so whenever a neighbor or friend went away I did the pet sitting in their homes! I previously worked at a doggy daycare and board, so I have plenty of experience in taking care of dogs needs, including things like medication. Currently, I work in an animal shelter, which includes different feedings and walking of various breeds of dogs! I am also currently studying conservation and wildlife management in university, and will be taking a multitude of caretaking classes that will help me take care of your animals as well. I currently work a few days a week at an animal shelter. My usual work days are from 8-3, and anywhere outside of that time I will be free to hang with your pets! If I have two weeks notice of a booking, I can also schedule shorter work hours to make sure I meet your pets needs. When I care for pets in their homes, I prioritize the wellbeing of the animal, including comfort and routine. I will follow their day-to-day feeding and exercise schedules while also giving the animals some love! I will also keep owners up to date with pictures, and will reach out with updates if needed!

About: Caring for people and animals is my passion. I work part time at a hospital and volunteer with rescue dogs. I like helping any way I can. I will care for your pet to the best of my abilities and ensure the get the attention they need when you are unable to be there. I have dog sat/dog walked and cat sat a variety of different breeds for years. I am open to most any animal and have a flexible schedule.
