“If I could leave 6 stars, I would! This was our first time using Meghan and she was amazing. We planned to have her watch our dog from Wednesday to Monday for a long weekend getaway, and then a snowstorm canceled our flight and we ended up being stuck away for 4 extra days. Meghan was so helpful and offered to go buy extra food for our pup since we had only packed him the amount he originally needed, and made us feel so comfortable leaving him there for what turned out to be such a long time. She sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell my dog was having SUCH a good time. Usually when we pick our dog up from a sitter he is crying and squealing with excitement to see us… this time when we finally picked him up, he literally tried to go back into Meghan’s house and did not want to leave. About: Since I was young I have always been drawn to caretaking of animals, and so whenever a neighbor or friend went away I did the pet sitting in their homes! I previously worked at a doggy daycare and board, so I have plenty of experience in taking care of dogs needs, including things like medication. Currently, I work in an animal shelter, which includes different feedings and walking of various breeds of dogs! I am also currently studying conservation and wildlife management in university, and will be taking a multitude of caretaking classes that will help me take care of your animals as well. I currently work a few days a week at an animal shelter. My usual work days are from 8-3, and anywhere outside of that time I will be free to hang with your pets! Currently going to school at Rowan University with breaks consistently through out the day and could be readily available in the ams and night times. I also have a 12 year-old English Fox Hound that likes to take me on walks/runs daily I am currently retired and this leave me plenty of time to take care of your dog. I am an avid runner and cyclist, so walking or even running with your dog is not a problem I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a 3-acre property where dogs can roam and run. I do have a 120 foot leash that lets the dogs run without fear of them running away. If your dog likes to play fetch or just do a lot of exploring, the yard is ideal for them. I take care of my pets 24/7 so it’s whenever I am needed! Dogs are the most important thing in my life, so even the ones who aren’t mine will get all the time I can possibly give them. I will follow any instructions given to me and make sure that the pet is comfortable in any situation. If I am in a clients home, I am incredibly respectful and careful to do everything correctly.
About: Growing up I took care of my families Great Danes, walking them several times a day. I love all dogs and would love some puppy time! I have Weekend availability and weekday availability after my 9-5. Willing to work whatever works best for customers within the confines of my scheduled day job. My cats always have clean water, food, and clean litter boxes. Plenty of toys for stimulation! I treat everyone’s pet with the care like they are my own.
About: Hi! I’m 30 and I have been pet sitting on Rover for over three years for dogs and cats of all ages and needs. I may be petite but don’t be fooled! I am an aerialist in my spare time, and so I have a lot of upper body strength and can handle large, strong dogs as well as high energy dogs who need long, brisk walks for proper exercise. I have experience with older pets and am comfortable administering medications. Let me know if you would like me to water plants, turn on/off lights, or any other tasks while you are away. Whether you need an extra walk for a feisty pooch, care during your family vacation, or long-term assistance, feel free to contact me for a meet and greet. During COVID era, your comfort is of upmost importance. Please let me know if you would like me to wear a mask indoors, wipe down door handles, etc. to ensure your safety. I work full-time in the animal welfare field, so I am most available for weekend and long weekend pet sitting. I can do occasional weekday walks as well. Safety and mental wellbeing are my top priorities. I always make sure dogs are leashed before going out the door and avoid other dogs and people during walks, just to be safe.

“If I could leave 6 stars, I would! This was our first time using Meghan and she was amazing. We planned to have her watch our dog from Wednesday to Monday for a long weekend getaway, and then a snowstorm canceled our flight and we ended up being stuck away for 4 extra days. Meghan was so helpful and offered to go buy extra food for our pup since we had only packed him the amount he originally needed, and made us feel so comfortable leaving him there for what turned out to be such a long time. She sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell my dog was having SUCH a good time. Usually when we pick our dog up from a sitter he is crying and squealing with excitement to see us… this time when we finally picked him up, he literally tried to go back into Meghan’s house and did not want to leave. He’s been depressed ever since we brought him back home… slightly heartbreaking for us LOL but a testament to what a great time he had with Meghan!”
