About: My friends and family call me Tom Care-a-lot, Tom the Mom, and The Dog Whisperer. I am often told I am too nice, but sometimes kindness and patience can be what someone needs to be a good caregiver. I have worked at East Memphis Pet Hospital & Resort as a Daycare and Kennel worker, and occasionally perform Vet Tech duties such as administering medication, which has taught me a lot about caring for multiple dogs and adapting to each dogs' individual needs. To be responsible for another life sometimes means that you have to be flexible, I understand if something comes up last minute, it happens; I will be as flexible as you and your dogs' needs. Your dog will be in good-hearted, caring hands while you are doing what you need to do. Your dogs and their home will be safe, you can leave it to me. I will respond to booking requests with 12-24 hours if not immediately. If something doesn’t work in my schedule I will let you know ahead of time unless there is an emergency. I work Freelance from home (remote), so my hours are flexible. I have obligations with other people and clients but I will make any booking done through the app, if they are accepted and scheduled. Failure to contact about a booking before service will result in a cancellation and YOU will be charged a cancellation fee and will take all responsibility for your pet(s). I treat them with respect, I will not hit or discipline them physically, if you instruct me to do so I will decline and cancel the stay or appointment. I do not tolerate abuse or neglect. I will clean up if they have an accident and my motto is to “leave the house roughly in the same state you came/found it in”. I will use your amenities like washer/dryer/sink/shower/dishwasher if I am staying multiple days or overnight. I will do my best to clean up after myself but I cannot conform to all expectations of perfection. Make sure there are no illegal drugs or weapons in the residence (weapons must be away and sealed in a secure location, if any are in the residence) failure to comply with this will result in an immediate cancellation and it will be on YOU.

About: Taken care of my own cats for 6 years. Work at a shelter caring for different breeds of cats. Attentive to the needs of cats. Daytime hours are best and weekend hours are available. Many flexbile time slots throughout the day, especially if short blocks of time are also needed. About: My family and I have been taking care of dogs on and off for 15 years. Our dog has had two litters totaling 23 (Creampuff Labradoodle is the breeder) which we have hosted in our home as they grew up. They now live with their forever homes. We love nature, being outdoors, and all things animal related! We host play dates at our home often and our pup enjoys the company. Things to note: we are a busy household and have three children. We are in and out throughout the day but never for long periods of time when watching pups. Visiting dogs must be comfortable around my dog and children. I will always do a meet and greet before taking a dog in. Must know basic training skills and be clean upon arrival, and be house trained. Things to bring for day care/boarding: Bed, water and food bowls, crate. If a crate is not an option then we can use our gated corral. They are able to have free rein over house, I am fine with that but as a safety precaution or for use when we leave I prefer to have an option to contain the pups. I have toys, towels, and treats. If any signs of aggression are shown or excessive behaviors I will ask if I can gently train your dog with a sound device. I have used this on my own dog and it works great as a non invasive tool if unpredictable circumstances arise. Our back yard is fenced and we take extra care at our front door and can block the foyer with an extra gate for safety. I own a photography business so I make my own schedule. If I am away from the house, it is not for long at all and I do all my editing from my home office. I am flexible and accommodating to various needs. I have a fully fenced back yard. We have a gate for leaving uncreated dogs in if we run out for a bit. It can block off the foyer area or be set up by the deck door for views of the yard.
