“We were so happy to have found Anna to watch Jagger for a last minute day trip we went on. She is a caring, kind, & thoughtful person. We could tell Jagger had a great day with Anna. We highly recommend her to take great care of your pet.”

“Riley was wonderful to work with. So accommodating and she was wonderful sending me pictures of Luna the whole time we were away making us feel very comfortable. Definitely will use her again!!”

“Mayra and her husband was so warm welcoming! They let me know where Milo would be playing and hanging out. Which left me at easy leaving my baby boy. As well Mayra loves playing little games with the doggies she sent me a video of my Milo playing the game and doing so well! She shared pictures as well and always communicated with me when i would ask about Milo. Milo came back so happy ❤️ I would definitely book again with Mayra! Thank you so much!”

“Dane and Kayla were awesome with my pup. I got updates during his stay and he seemed to be getting love and attention as if he were at home. I will happily have my boy stay with them again knowing he will be safe and sound.”

“Cassandra did a great job. Our dog had a really good time with her and her family. She had excellent communication and sent pictures and videos daily. I recommend Cassandra highly.”

“We just love having Mollie take care of our puppy. She is great at communicating and working with our schedule. Our puppy gets so excited and happy when we arrive! Mollie and her family are so thoughtful and considerate and it is very reassuring to know our pup is safe and content while we are away.”

“We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! We will definitely be calling again to have them watch our little fur baby!”

“Tessie was amazing! She took great care of our dog while we were away for nearly a week. She sent updates and multiple pictures every day. It gave us great peace of mind about leaving our dog for the first time. I would definitely recommend her and will be using her services again in the future. Thanks again Tessie!”

“Dani was open to meeting prior to booking to make sure she and Lizzy got along. We got to see where Lizzy would be staying. During her stay, Dani asked for directions and followed them. She communicated just the right amount and sent some lovely pictures. She was accommodating when we needed to slightly modify drop off and pick up times. Lizzy clearly was well cared for and very affectionate toward Dani. We recommend her wholeheartedly and will definitely be using her next time we go away.”

“Charissa and Shawn took great care of our two dogs! We had a meet and greet before dropping them off and both dogs were very comfortable. Charissa made sure to ask all the important questions that she would need to know about our dogs, so that she’d be well prepared. We will absolutely be booking them again the next time we go on vacation!”

“Laken was great with our 2 fur babies! She sent lots of pictures and communicated throughout the whole trip making sure they were well taken care of. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
