“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

“We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! My cat recently returned from a vet visit with several daily medications which he needed while I was out of town, and Jennifer was able to administer an oral pill, a crushed pill, and a liquid medication with an oral syringe with no problem. My cat was staying with my mom (she's unable to administer his meds) and she immediately called me after Jennifer's first visit absolutely beaming with how great she was with my cat, how skilled she was at administering his meds, and what a wonderful friendly person she was in general. It's scary to leave your pets in someone else's hands, but I would absolutely trust Jennifer for any future needs and will be recommending her to all nearby friends and family members for any pet sitting needs. She has 6 cats of her own, so knows her stuff. Even when my cat hid under the bed on her last visit, she managed to coax him out and do everything. She was very communicative the entire time. (In case you can't tell, I simply can't say enough positive things about Jennifer because I'm so incredibly grateful for how well she took care of my little guy when I was out of town. About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. I grew up around Australian Heelers helping with birthing mothers and puppies. I currently own a Toy Fox Terrier/Toy Aussie Shepherd mix named "Ranger". I've worked for several horse farms in the area including Mountain Spring Arena in Shartelsville and Maple Crest Sport Horses in Myerstown since I was 16. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, ride and muck stalls for their pets both large and small. References available! I can take your beloved pet (family member) on a nice walk around your neighborhood or to the groomer. Does your dog have a favorite toy? We can play with that too!! If you're only looking for someone to come into the home to feed/potty your dog 1-3 times daily, I do that too. Please contact me with any questions! I have 3 cats and if your dog does not like cats, they are perfectly fine hanging out in the basement during your dog's stay. This is my 7th year pet sitting. I am very reliable and have pet sat for my neighbors, friends and family's pets. I volunteered for a pet shelter for six months cleaning cages and walking dogs. About: I have grown up my whole life with animals. From little critters in cages to many dogs and cats. As a animal lover, I strive to give every animal the best life they can have. I take pride in teaching my own children and others just how special animals are and how to treat them with respect, tenderness, and correctly. We are a small family with 3 children, 5,6, and 17. I work part time night and spend most days around the house. My husband is currently a stay at home dad and spends his days at home as well. All of our children are in school so our house is empty and quiet for a good part of the day. We do not have a fenced in yard so leashes are required, but we do have a gated porch for extra security for sneaky ones. We do have 2 dogs and a cat. Both dogs are in their maturing years and spends most days and night sleeping somewhere. They are friendly and love meeting new friends, but we do have gates through the house if needed, as well as crates. Our cat is friendly but quite antisocial, and is unseen most days. We do have children, but all have been taught since a young age how to be kind and careful with animals. They have learned to respect boundaries as not all animals are the same.
About: Familiar with Shih Tzu & other small dog/cat care, follows directions easily, dependable, punctual, assertive, effective, kind, playful, & can build trust with animals quickly! I take care of my family Shih Tzu daily and have cared for our late Domestic Longhair cat; as well as my sister’s Australian Labradoodle, her long-haired kitty, and my Aunt’s 3 Italian Greyhounds on occasion. I’ve also had experience watching a Westie and other larger Labradoodles. Pet care comes naturally and second-nature as I’ve had pets in my home all my life. “We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! “Simone is an excellent pet sitter, and I recommend her without reservation. I needed someone I can trust with my gang of five - three cats and two English labs. They range in age from 19 to 1, and have a variety of needs, including medication for an elderly cat and supervision of a recently hospitalized dog, with his younger, very exuberant "brother." Simone managed it all without difficult, and even gave attention to the less needy pets. She sent some adorable photos that I will definitely save. Simone is calm, patient, attentive, intelligent, experienced with her own and others' animals, and caring. I did not feel like I had to worry about my guys and gals, knowing she was with them. I also respect that she came to the house beforehand to meet us and our animals and determine our needs. She was very responsive in communication, when we were setting up our first meeting. Thank goodness, because I am not the most tech savvy!”
