I’m currently a Pre-Veterinary student at the University of Central Missouri, and for the past five years, I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant at Pleasant Hill Animal Clinic, where my dad is a veterinarian. I’ve also been pet sitting for the past two years, caring for pets of all ages—from playful 10-month-old to sweet 12-year-old seniors. I have experience administering medications, including insulin injections for diabetic dogs, and I always make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I currently work part-time as a veterinary assistant, and I’m typically available every day except Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Even on my busiest days, I always have a lunch break, so I’m never away from pets in my care for more than six hours at a time. I have a fully fenced yard and one friendly Great Dane who can be easily kenneled or separated as needed. About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs both big and small. I have watched animals that pull on walks, need medicine, or any other special treatment. I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 14 and absolutely love animals of all kind. I am 16 years old and am an incoming Junior at Blue Valley High School. Pet care is part of my daily routine. I myself have three animals. Two cats, and a dog. Bean (siamese tabby mix) is my cat and Blu (norwegian forest cat mix) is my partners cat. Mae (german shepherd) is my parents dog! I have worked at two veterinary jobs and at one animal boarding place! Animal care has always been a part of my life and it will forever be a huge part of me. I am about to start a job working at chipotle part time, starting at a horse stable part time, and animal sitting on the side and am doing animal sitting on the side! When I watch clients animals, I make sure the animals get a lot of play time including a walk if client is comfortable with it. I will do anything the client wants and is comfortable with! In homes where there’s multiple animals, I always try and get the rundown of their relationship so I know how they act around each other, and know who’s more dominant in the household. I love bringing all sorts of fun to the table. If your animal loves water, I will absolutely incorporate that in a visit. If your animal likes long walks, that’s what they’ll get. I love taking care of each dogs individual needs.

“Stephany was absolutely amazing with our dogs. I found her two days before we left for vacation. She came and met our dogs before the house sitting started. I was a little worried because I’ve never left our dogs to be cared for by someone else and we have a king Shepherd who is pretty territorial and not always friendly to unknown people. He took right to her along with our other two dogs. She sent text messages and pictures/videos daily with updates on how the dogs were. She even brushed them out for us, vacuumed the living room and cleaned up. Super happy with how well she took care of our fur babies while we were gone. Would absolutely recommend her and use her again when we leave town!”
