About: I have loved dogs since I was a child. As a pre-teen, I used to go to my neighbors' homes to take their dogs for walks. Then, in 1993, my parents finally gave me my first dog—a black English Cocker Spaniel. I haven't been without dogs since. The first one was stolen when he was a year old. The second, another black Cocker, lived for 14 years. During that time, I also had a Yorkshire Terrier who lived to be 17. Currently, I have a 12-year-old female Papillon who came with me from Brazil a little over two years ago. I am Brazilian and qualified as a veterinarian in 2003. I spent six years working in a clinic treating dogs before switching to a different area of ​​veterinary practice for personal reasons. Since moving to the US, I have been a full-time mom, as my youngest daughter is not yet school-age. I believe a meet-and-greet is beneficial for both parties; it’s a time for pets and their owners to get to know me better, and for me to get to know the pet (I like to fill out a form during this time to record details about them). I understand that just like us, dogs need regular walks to stay happy, healthy and mentally stimulated. If life gets busy and you're unable to take your pup out as often as you'd like, I'd be happy to help. I also offer loving in-home care for pets who prefer to stay cozy and comfortable in their own home while you're away. Services offered: dog walker, boarding, drop-in visits and doggy day care. I offer other pet services upon request. I am currently a full-time mother and homemaker, so I do not have a job that keeps me away from home for long stretches at a time. I have a friendly 12-year-old female dog, but she doesn't know how to play with other dogs; she’s a companion for quiet moments rather than playtime. I have three children—aged 4, 6, and 9—who adore dogs and love playing with them. I live in a house without a fenced yard. The raised deck has a gate and is a spot where my dog ​​likes to hang out and watch the activity. I’ve installed a 34-inch removable fence in a small area where a dog can be left without constant supervision (provided they aren't a climber or a jumper).

About: I have had dogs in my home since I was 5 years old. I love all types of dogs, and people have always called me the animal whisperer. I love and care about all animals and relish the opportunity to spoil your furry family member while you're away! I've cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, and I also have 10 years of experience as a vet tech, so I can handle anything from the day-to-day care of your pet to high-stress situations that require additional knowledge and attention. I work a fully remote job and I'm home all the time. I'm happy to work with you on a unique boarding schedule that works for you. Vacations are stressful enough, and I understand that plans change, so I'm happy to accommodate your schedule to the best of my ability. About: While I’m new to caring for others’ dogs, I’m an experienced dog owner. I’ll provide the same attentive, loving care I expect for my own. I work from home from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., so morning drop-offs must be before 7:00 a.m. This gives your dog plenty of time to settle in, get comfortable, and enjoy at least 45 minutes of playtime before I start my workday. My work schedule allows me plenty of flexibility for potty breaks, attention, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. Because I do work from home, dogs staying with me should also be comfortable relaxing independently while I’m in meetings or focused on work. They’ll never be short on attention—they just need to be happy hanging out while I get some work done too! Your dog’s safety is my top priority. My home provides a calm, comfortable environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. I only accept small, potty-trained dogs with no history of aggression or resource guarding to help keep everyone safe and comfortable. I have a fully fenced yard for potty breaks, fresh air, and supervised playtime. Dogs are never left outside unattended—I will always be outside with them. I also closely supervise interactions between dogs, especially during meals, treats, and playtime. Since I work from home, I’m here throughout the day to provide regular potty breaks, attention, and supervision. My goal is for you to feel confident that your dog is safe, secure, and well cared for while staying in my home.

“First of all, I was impressed with Lauren’s perfect dog friendly house where any pet would be so comfortable and loved. But more important, our dog Bentley, who has become more anxious as he ages, spent the first 12 hours at Lauren’s highly restless and even peeing inappropriately despite all of Lauren’s efforts. Our family was in Colorado and Lauren was awesome working with us long distance , but especially with Bentley to help him get his calm back and once over his initial jitters, he was a good guest in her house. I can’t thank Lauren enough for her willingness to work through all this with us and for being so chill with it all. It was a lot and she was wonderful! She should always be a first choice if you’re looking for someone kind and patient to watch your pet.”
