I’m a huge animal lover and am good with dogs anywhere from the puppy stage, to the “old-man” stage! I am reliable when it comes to walking, feeding, bathing, and of course belly rubs! I currently stay at home so I have plenty of time to fit all of your pet care needs into my daily routine! I am looking for a job but will arrange as need be! My current pets have a fenced in yard. If I am watching your beloved fur babies, I can supervise in a fence in yard, or take them out on a leash if need be! About: I have been around all sorts of animals since I was a baby. I had a German shepherd growing up. Now I own a hound mix who is very energetic and keeps me busy which I like. While I was in college I worked at my teams stable and took care of my coaches horses, chickens, and her donkey. Since I own a dog of my own, pet care is in my every day life. I am a server at Dante’s house of pizza. Even with my busy work schedule I still have plenty of time to take my own dog to the park, walk him, and play with him. I want to share my love by taking care of other peoples animals. I can ensure them that their furry friends will be safe in my care. My dog’s name is Gino and he loves being outdoors whenever we can be. He loves going on walks with other dogs. He is really happy when I take him to my friend’s house to play with their dogs. My dog is very spoiled and gets to snuggle up with me in bed. I am responsible to take him to the vet when he needs his yearly check up. I make sure he is well groomed and well fed.

About: I have experience working with all breeds, of all ages, sizes and temperments. I began my pet care career July 2025 at a highly rated dog daycare/boarding facility. I’m available any day of the week depending on my kid’s school schedule and childcare. Trusting me with the care and comfort of your furry family member(s), means the world to me. I vow to follow your detailed routines and instructions regarding feeding, medications, play time, and potty breaks! Your pet’s health, safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’m also comfortable cleaning up any messes or accidents your fur baby leaves behind! I will always keep yours and your vets contact information nearby in case of emergency.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a child and owned a few so nothing really intimidates me about any dog or cat. But personally, I do love cats more. They’re just much more my personality. At the moment, I honestly do not have that much time but if I do have an open day, it’ll be on the weekends and I can move things around pretty flexibly Building trust with any living thing takes time and willingness to meet bumps in the road. I’m committed to making sure your pet and your space are well respected and taken care of.
About: Your family is my family I have a genuine love for all animals. Some call them pets I call them family! I enjoy spending time with these adorable fur babies, and this app allows me to do it for most of my day! My schedule is super flexible to cater to your families needs I have a fenced yard with plenty of room for running around, tossing a frisbee, or for just laying out and catching a breeze © I have cages if that's what you prefer, music, television, or even a good book if that's what your family enjoys I’m a stay at home mom so I enjoy the company! Pets are thee most loving and kindest to be around. It is my absolute pleasure to take care of them I have a fenced backyard, plenty of toys, dog treats and love to give! My style of caring for your fur babies is making them feel at home by keeping them close by my side until you return lots of rubs and walks so they can check out the neighborhood and get some fresh air!
About: We have always had dogs since i was a little girl. I am now 48, four grown children and divorced. I have the time and desire to care for other animals. Dogs love me as they are a great judge of character. I have dogs sat for weeks at a time. I enjoy playing with them as Im still a kid at heart. I don't mind a clingy animal as I love the affection. I have trained my dog to speak, high five and most recently ride with me on my Harley! I am disabled so I do not work outside the home. I wake up around 9am, let my dog out to go potty. Give him breakfast and flea prevention meds. I try to play with him in the house for twenty minutes a day. As his type of breed, he needs to burn off energy. I let him out for exercise and a bathroom rig, at least four times during the day. I put him to bed around 9pm. Some nights, he sleeps with me, other nights he gets crated. I have a fenced in yard, with room to play. My scooby enjoys playing with other dogs. Scooby gets crated when he is not supervised and sometimes overnight. I have no problem trading other pets. I do have a sleeping room for pets who are not crated. I would prefer to dog sit overnight in the client's home. I own a cleaning business with five stars. So I am well trusted in the community.
“Briete was wonderful! She was so good with my dog. This was my first time with her and I felt completely comfortable leaving my pup in her care. She is very warm and helpful, I’d definitely recommend her and call her again!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
