3. Shanie J.

“Shanie was so wonderful. I adopted an older cat with health issues last fall named Tony who requires insulin injections. I went out of town for the first time since bringing her home and was so relieved when I found Shanie because she seemed to have so much experience and I knew I could trust her to take good care of both my cats, but especially Tony. She sent me pictures and videos and super detailed updates twice a day and even went above and beyond when she stopped by to give the cats extra pets one day when she was nearby checking on a different pet. She seemed to really enjoy spending time with them. I feel so relieved to have found Shanie and to know I have a reliable person to care for my babies in the future! Thank you so much, Shanie!”

4. Alyssa C.
“Alyssa was absolutely amazing! From coming over for a meet and greet to get to know my two Frenchies to being very attentive when I was explaining all the different foods and directions to tend to them. She was very professional, on-time + treated our dogs like her own. We will be using Alyssa every time we can.”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have experience in grooming, trimming nails, and even simple training with any type of dog. I've taken care of dogs from the early puppy stage all the way to when they become a senior. I currently have a full time job at an elementary school in Demotte, Indiana but am available after 4 pm and overnights on the weekend. I currently live at my mom's house, but we have a fenced in yard because of our dog. I would prefer to come to your house for any sitting services.

About: Hello! My name is Courtney B. I’m 29 years old and can say I’ve been an animal lover for all those years! I’ve always been surrounded by animals growing up from cats & dogs to birds and lizards! My favorite thing about them all is their unique personalities. I’ve taken care of a countless number of animals and have helped family and friends with theirs when needed! I recently lost my favorite pup in the world and that was the most heartbreaking day ever!!! But I still have my cat to keep me company on the sad days. She is my little snuggle bug. Animals are my passion! I hope I am considered in taking care of your beautiful pups & kitties! I would love nothing more. I am currently working online from home so I have all the time in the world to care for your pets! I am very flexible. I live in a house with a big back yard, whether you need your pet to be taken out on a leash or I also have a doggy tie-out anchor which I can hook your pup up to to enjoy the outside on it’s own with being securely fastened. I have hooked up large breed-dogs to it and have had no problem!

14. Amy G.
About: My 17 years of experience as a dog owner has given me a deep understanding of each dogs unique needs and behaviors. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for dogs of all ages and sizes—whether in my home or theirs—tailoring my care based on each dog’s unique needs. Whether it's providing extra attention for senior dogs, teaching a puppy basic manners, or adapting to any special requirements, I make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and well-cared for. Since my Australian Shepherds don’t have a flock of sheep to herd, I’m their "job" instead! When I’m at home, they’re my loyal little shadows. They’re surprisingly chill for Aussies, but I like to think it’s because I’m an awesome dog mom... and they’re technically working most of the day as my supervisors. They make sure everything runs smoothly by reminding me if I'm even a minute late with their meals, when it’s time for potty breaks, when to wake up my son, when it’s time to play—the list goes on! I offer caring and reliable dog sitting and walking services tailored to keep your pup happy, healthy, and engaged. As a proud owner of two Australian Shepherds, I understand the importance of attention, exercise, and companionship for dogs. Whether it's a stroll around the neighborhood, a quick potty break, or some fun playtime in a safe and nurturing environment, I’ll make sure your dog feels right at home while you’re away. I provide both in-home dog sitting, so your dog can remain in the comfort of their own space, as well as dog sitting at my home for longer care needs. My dogs are friendly and enjoy making new friends, so your pup will have plenty of companionship during their stay. While I do have a crate available if needed, please note that I do not have a fenced-in yard. My dogs love off-leash play, so if your dog needs to be kept on a leash outdoors, please provide clear care instructions to ensure their safety and comfort.

15. Jonathan R.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Jonathan for our 2 dogs and 4 cats! From the start, he was so attentive to both of their needs, and it was clear he truly cared. Jonathan kept us updated with pictures and messages, showing us how much love and attention he was giving them. Our dog was relaxed and happy, and even our usually shy cat warmed up to him right away, which says a lot about his gentle approach. Knowing Jonathan was there gave us such peace of mind, and we’re so grateful to have found him through Rover. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dedicated and compassionate pet sitter!”

16. Samantha S.
About: I’ve had dogs, cats, turtles, fish, and hamsters since I was a toddler. I used to pet sit for my neighbors and family members from about 10yrs old onward. I’ll walk, cuddle, bathe and play with any type of pets. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter. I also worked at Coyne Vet center for about 2 years. I’m usually available for a walk or drop in visit on week nights and the weekends! I do work in the Crown Point area so I’m mobile. I’m open to in house pet sitting as long as your pet can go about 6 hours alone with me being at work. I always remember that your home is their home. I like to keep your fur babies as comfy as possible. I also try to keep them on their regular routine as if nothing is changing for them.

17. Sophia G.
“Sophia has watched our dog Bear many times. She is very good with him and he just loves her. We usually have her stay at our home with him and it just makes it easier for both of them. Cheryl G.”

18. Shyann S.
About: I have had pets my entire life so I am no stranger to what their needs are. I have worked professionally with all types of animals for about 2 years now. That includes senior pets, puppies, kittens, and even some exotic pets. I still am at my job that involves me working with animals which includes; feeding, walking, bathing, and even knowing what to do in case of an emergency. Your pets will definitely be safe with me and feel loved while we wait for your return! I do work full time at my current animal facility but I do have days off and can look after pets on my days off and even go feed and walk them before and after my shifts! We have a big back yard with lots of space for running and exercise. I have a sweet golden retriever puppy and 2 yorkies that are friendly as ever. I can crate your dog if requested and make sure to bring the food they are used to to ensure they get their meals. I believe your pet would definitely just feel like it was one big play date while you were away!

19. Cindy P.
About: I've taken care of pets since I was about age ten. I see animals as part of the family as my pets have been some of my greatest companions over the years. As an educator, I am home full time for the summer months until early August. Once school begins, I am available late afternoons and evenings. I have two crates, one small for cats and one midsize for dogs. I can crate your dog if needed. I have a small room that they can sleep in to give them privacy.
