“Having never been left alone since the passing of her brother (they used to board together in a kennel) we were concerned about what to do with our senior dog, Abby, during a 10-day trip to Europe. We turned to Rover.com since we felt staying in her familiar home would be better and Abby would receive more attention and activity. We reached out to Lauren who got back to us in minutes and arranged an in-home "meet and greet" visit. She and her partner came by to visit and we were immediately impressed with her kind way with Abby, her approach to staying here with Abby, and her experience taking care of dogs. We were very pleased with her care of Abby, the updates she would send us along with photos of Abby were very helpful, and it was nice to know they were all getting along well -- and at the same time, our home was being cared for along with Abby! They had car rides and visits and walks and Abby did very well with her new friends right in her own home. When we returned home, our place was clean and tidy, sheets were washed and folded, Abby was happy and doing well. Our neighbors told us how nice they were and that Abby was happy during her walks. We were very glad to have found Lauren and Ali and would not hesitate to have them stay with our little one in the future! Excellent care and support for our doggie and for us.”

About: I have taken care of many animals in my life, including but not limited to dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, fish, farm animals etc. I have helped with grooming, feeding, clean up, providing medicine, bottle feeding, delivering puppies etc. I am comfortable and confident handling all breeds and ages. I am currently a stay at home mom doing online schooling so my schedule is very flexible! I am free during evenings and weekends as well. I am good at following all instructions given for the pet and will always respect your animal(s) and your home. About: I have cared for friends and family dogs. I think they can tell when you like them. I’ve always been able to connect with dogs. I’m retired. I was an LPN for 30yrs. I have lots of free time to care for your dog. I definitely can give them meds.😊 If you have fenced yard. I’d play with them clean up and check on them often and bring them in and make sure gates are secure.

About: I’ve have been a neighborhood dog/cat feeder, walker, and attention-giver since elementary school and have grown up with pets in the home. Your pet will definitely be loved and cared for! I am open to early morning/evening walks or visits, as well as some in-home stays. Mid-day during the week I will unfortunately not be available. I do not currently have pets of my own, nor can I keep any in my home, but I would be able to pet sit in the clients home, take for potty breaks and walks (or hikes if you have an active dog), and give food/attention as needed.

“Day is phenomenal! She’s such a wonderful person and you can tell instantly how much she loves animals. She took the time to get to know our 4 dogs and even learned their quirks and built up trust with them. By the end of the weekend our Cattle dog was in love with her. He was very disappointed when it was us who came through the door and not Day. 🤣 Thank you so much Day for your care and kindness with our dogs. We even learned a lot from you! About: I’ve been caring for dogs since before I could walk! I’ve grown up around dogs and have worked professionally in boarding and daycare facilities. I am trained in dog/cat care and am able to administer medication, work on training, enrichment and so much more. I have experience with hundreds of breeds as well as dogs from less than 10 pounds to dogs over 200!! (I’m a big fan of mastiffs.) Please reach out! I currently do not work other than through Rover! About: Hi! My name is Audrey and I love all types of animals. I helped my daughters, now 15 and 13, start their own pet care business in our neighborhood 2 years ago. They have had steady work and I have helped them learn to follow specific instructions regarding various pet care needs and administering medication and schedules. I’m excited to start this business of my own, expand outside of my neighborhood, and care for your pets when you can’t be there. Also, I homeschool my daughters so our schedule is flexible. We are a family that loves animals. I am home everyday homeschooling my daughters. I can be flexible with our schedule and they are now old enough to stay by themselves if you do not feel comfortable with them joining me on visits. I love animals and do not mind even large dogs! I have a Great Dane who is 7 years old. I have helped my daughters learn how to care for pets in our neighborhood, keeping up with appointments, feeding schedules, medications, and just plain good ol’ fun with the dogs. We also have a Great Dane that is a joy to our family. She is 7 but still acts like a big puppy. She loves to play with the whole family and tries to squeeze in on the couch with everyone at night.

I work at a school during the day, which means I’m available after 2:30 PM on weekdays. I’m also fully available on weekends and have extended availability during school holidays, spring break, and summer break. Because of my schedule, I’m a great option for families needing care during holiday travel or extended trips. I can provide afternoon, evening, and overnight care depending on distance. I prioritize organization and time management to ensure every pet receives consistent, reliable attention and care. At this time, I do not offer boarding in my own home because I have pets of my own and limited space. I want to ensure that every animal in my care feels comfortable and safe, and I believe being realistic about space is important for everyone’s well-being. Instead, I focus on providing high-quality care in your home through drop-in visits and overnight stays. Many pets feel more relaxed in their familiar environment, and this allows me to maintain their routine while keeping their stress levels low. My goal is always to provide attentive, dependable care where your pet feels most secure.

About: I've was previously a dog bather at PetSmart so I've had experience with all types of dogs. I've dog sat for family members and I have three dogs of my own. I also grew up with cats and I have one old man currently! I'm currently enrolled in online college courses so I'll have lots of time to care for your precious babies! This is my part time job so there is nothing else taking up my time! Unfortunately I cannot house your babies in my own home but I'm available to drop in to check on your animals and go for walks!
