“Having never been left alone since the passing of her brother (they used to board together in a kennel) we were concerned about what to do with our senior dog, Abby, during a 10-day trip to Europe. We turned to Rover.com since we felt staying in her familiar home would be better and Abby would receive more attention and activity. We reached out to Lauren who got back to us in minutes and arranged an in-home "meet and greet" visit. She and her partner came by to visit and we were immediately impressed with her kind way with Abby, her approach to staying here with Abby, and her experience taking care of dogs. We were very pleased with her care of Abby, the updates she would send us along with photos of Abby were very helpful, and it was nice to know they were all getting along well -- and at the same time, our home was being cared for along with Abby! They had car rides and visits and walks and Abby did very well with her new friends right in her own home. When we returned home, our place was clean and tidy, sheets were washed and folded, Abby was happy and doing well. Our neighbors told us how nice they were and that Abby was happy during her walks. We were very glad to have found Lauren and Ali and would not hesitate to have them stay with our little one in the future! Excellent care and support for our doggie and for us.”

My routine with pet care during the week while working is walking at least twice a day with lots of cuddles and talks before leaving, make sure house is secure and safe and puppies are crated, special room or outside depending on safety/weather. Left with toys and/stress relievers. After work, potty, fetch, catch and walks. They depending on weather playtime until bedtime. Non working days, Walks are the same plus plan social play time or easy hike walk, or water play etc. Anxious days usual comes with lots of attention. Hyper days lots of fetch, catch and brain games. Even spa days of bath and brushing. Fresh water throughout the day and follow feeding schedules plus meds if needed. Illness or injury call parents and/or vet with permission transport to location that needed regular vet or emergency vet Safety and less stress is best for all. Safety checks and walk throughs house and yard daily. Monitor pets and be aware of their whereabouts. Check fur and skins at least once a day depending on season and living area. Follow schedule and requirements of the family. Communicate to family on daily basis and share pictures.

About: I have had animals my entire life! 3 dogs and 5 fish. I walk my 2 very friendly loving dogs through the mountains or my neighborhood every night and I love for yours to join us! I’m also experienced in house sitting as I have done this for many of family friends. As well as senior care, due to my full time job at Home Helpers Home Care. I work full time Monday- Friday 9am-5pm. My weekends, early mornings, and evening are completely free! Early morning or right after work is when I walk my two dogs either in the morning or when I get home from work. In my own home I find patience is the key to working with dogs. The newest addition to my family is a rescue from a hoarding case and it has taken some time to help him heal from the trauma he has faced. With love, patience, and guidance he has had an amazing recovery and adapted so well to being with us! In the three years he has been with us all of his injuries, cuts, and bruises have healed. His coat is thick, full, and shiny. He is also no longer scared to eat or be around other animals and people.

I always send daily updates of your pets and take the time to make sure your pet is happy while you are away. I currently work at a dog boarding facility so I am very familiar with canine needs! I grew up with various breeds of dogs AND cats so animals are nothing new to me :) I work full-time at a Dog Boarding Facility! I keep my schedule on Rover up to date that way both clients and I can be connected on the same page! I'm available for walks in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings (depending on schedule). I am also able to dog pet boarding at my home or yours, which ever you are comfortable with! Even though I do not have a fenced in backyard, I leash walk all dogs to make sure they are safe and get plenty of exercise. My cat is also up to date on all their vaccines and are extremely friendly and will keep your pets company! If need be I can also crate your pet if you perfer! I make it a priority to have the safest area for your pets and have trust with the owners that your pets are in great care while you are gone or need help!
